It's hard to be a property manager. People get upset and tend to take out their frustrations on you. Amy is by far the most patient and efficient one we have worked with. Also, the tenants don't realize that she doesn't call the landlords over every little thing. She tries to give tenants a chance to fix any CCR rule-breaking before she contacts the landlord or brings it up to the board for fines to be set. She also has great people working there to keep the place clean and working. It's been a week, and I can't get my own HOA to call me back. Station West should be glad that they have someone they can talk to. So frustrating.

I was also told that it could not be mounted on a tripod and placed on my patio. I intend to challenge this restriction. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) passed rules in 1996 regarding the installation of satellite dishes for residents of apartments, condos, town homes or covenant-controlled communities managed by a Homeowners Association. The FCC ruled that a resident has the right to have a satellite dish that is less than one meter (39.37 inches) in diameter. The dish may be installed within the renter's or owner's exclusive area, such as inside a balcony, yard or patio. However, the landlord or the Homeowners Association can enforce restrictions on common areas, such as the exterior of the building or the roof. If anyone lives in the Station West complex and feels they have been discriminated because of this restriction please let me know. This cannot continue to go unchallenged.

The problem that most of us have, is we have a Guard Shack where we pay people to sit there and work and they just let anybody in. They do not check IDs. They do not call your house . I have had three different companies knocking on my door. They were trying to sell me solar and some other items in the last two weeks. Then when I called the Guard Shack to ask how they got in, the lady hung up on me. I would rather pay more dues were they have to call your house and check ID. I believe The other option would be to remove employees up a dialing system like we have in most places. You have to enter your if you don't have a code if nobody answers you can't come in. It's not rocket science and it probably save us some money. And then you could spend more money on security , streets and landscaping. Please figure it out. In addition, we have some areas where there's cars on the with three citations. And why have they not been towed?

I ultimately went with Ron because he explained the whole siding process well, he used only high quality materials, and was very reasonable with his quote and estimate. He provided a perfect color match and was able to give us the color samples for HOA approval and helped us with the building permit. Ron and his team are detail-oriented and thorough, even looking at weather forecasts to ensure they're cleared to start the siding work and Ron was very communicative throughout the project. They even helped my parents replace the dry rotted framing around our door/garage and helped us replace their utility doors because they had water damage and dry rot. Leo was the one leading the project on site and him and his team were very friendly, professional, and tidy. The house looks amazing and they are very happy with the outcome. Thank you again!

Don't let the lack of yelp reviews fool you!…read more We needed siding done on our house. I used the yelp project messenger and blasted everyone who did siding in the bay. I talked and got quotes from 7 different businesses. I then, highly researched each company ( from yelp to google review, Angie's list, home improvement FB groups, you name it, I checked it! ) I told them I would get back to them in a week to see who I felt comfortable with. Out of the 7 only 4 followed up. Out of the 4, 3 came in about the same between 60-70k and 1 came in around 50k. Attico was one of the 3. So why did I choose Ron? He was on time and informative, he answered all our questions. He came prepared with siding samples, and was able to measure and give us a general quote within 24 hours. He helped us with getting a permit and helped us touch up paint on the doors as well. We also felt comfortable that we didn't have to pay up front. We had to do a deposit (10%) for him to order everything. It took about 4 or 5 weeks to get the siding in. The process was fast! Once the permit was issued his team was here the following day! The guys were great! Very polite, hardworking and quick! They started on a Wednesday took a weekend off and came back and ended on a Wednesday. After every day they cleaned up throughly, which was great since we have a toddler who loves her back yard. I could not recommend the crew enough! Leo who was in charge was great! many of the guys don't speak English and I don't speak Russian well, and I'm not sure if he could tell me and my partner apart ‍ so there was some miscommunication but Ron was able to settle it easily and quickly! (And I didn't feel frustrated or stressed about it) They also replaced all the vents ! The crew did end up cracking a window. They told us right away and ordered it asap (custom sized) they replaced it within a few days of finishing the job! Of course with no cost to us. I can not recommend Ron and his team at Attico siding enough! I trust that Ron stands by his word and the siding!

My suggestion when dealing with any property management company is to document everything, create a detailed timeline of all communication, only communicate using email for reference, and contact the Better Business Bureau if all else fails. I still intent to get to the bottom of rising HOA costs in a down-economy (lowered insurance premiums, lower maintenance labor costs, sub standard maintenance of public areas).
