Service was great overall, but I did remove a star because I didn't appreciate feeling pressured to leave a tip. We were verbally asked if we wanted to leave a tip and how much, rather than being given the option to enter the tip ourselves. I personally prefer to choose the tip amount privately. Regardless, I would only come back for the coffee.

There have been times that when I go to order, they already have my drink made while I was standing in line! This generation of baristas is stellar! They ask me about my weekend, they ask about my son and my husband, they're kind and efficient. The reason I decided to try this location again was because I was tired of unpredictable opening times of other locations on my way to work. I can always depend on getting coffee here! I am just really happy to have a close by coffee shop! Yay!

You know when you go to a place and think "uh oh, they are about to get to know me really well…read morehere". That's what happened when I visited here! I'm a recent transplant to Anchorage and I have been on the search for the best chai tea latte around town. Well, good news, I found it. Chai is so often an after thought at coffee shops but this place doesn't skimp on quality. Not to mention the atmosphere is absolutely gorgeous with a multitude of houseplants to buy and little gifty type items. On nice days they open up a wall to their back patio area. I haven't stopped by the little market they are connected to, but I'm excited to try it! Needless to say I'm going to become a frequent flyer here.

They also have a Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Espresso bread that is every thing. Both locations are fantastic. I love that their family owned and always with Johnny's produce (which is also family owned).
