He looks like a junkie, but he works for a dealership so I kept going. He started asking me a bunch of private questions about my car loan and cars stuff. He left and came back with some bootleg AIRPODS. I asked him about the tv and even he couldn't makeup a lie. Everything matched, which meant that I had won the tv. He started making up a bunch of BS and stuttering ALOT. I have him the bootleg AirPods back and asked for my ticket and private info back. He was pissed but idc. Took the daugthters 2014 Jeep Cherokee in for a software update. Had an appointment for 8AM on a Monday. They didn't start looking at it until Tuesday at 4PM. Called them back at 4:30 and they told me it was 4 quarts low on transmission fluid and 3 quarts low on oil and the estimate was 2,800.00 for repairs. I told them not to do anything and picked it up at 5:30 that afternoon. When we got home, I checked the oil and it was about a 1/4th of a quart low. Secondly, there is no dip stick to check the transmission fluid so I don't understand that either. 'IF' it in fact it was 4 quarts low, it wouldn't have moved out of its tracks. Beware. read more

Another problems of this car the powers connections have problems for moments work and for moments stop charging my my phone The Bluetooth didn't work. Bought van from them 2 years ago and did a slop job of cleaning areas we pointed out, their warranty program is a joke as you ha e to keep every deetail on oil changes for a warranty to be valid and the biggest issue is that we showed them the back hatch to van wouldn't open all the Tim me and the side doors wouldn't remotely slide. They won't lock either unless it is manually from the inside. When we took it to them it wasn't acting up, figures, and they told us to take a video of it happens again. 2 days later it happened, we sent them the video and they NEVER reached back out to help us. Will NEVER use this dealership again and have already told friends aNd social media how horrible they are. I received a letter from Commonwealth Dodge telling me I could trade in the car that I bought from them and keep my payments the same as well as transfer my lifetime drivetrain warranty and also offered lifetime oil changes, a target gift card just for coming in, and a few other things. Sounds too good to be true, right? After finding a car that I liked, I took it for test drive and decided to do up the paperwork to see what we could do. The grill had a small crack on it, had to fight to even get them to offer to fix it, they finally agreed to it. After filling out all the paperwork, they tell me that the life time oil changes are no longer part of it and that they had retracted that. I never even heard anything about the gift card. I didn't go there just for the freebie, I was very interested in getting a car. The sales person was very condescending, threw papers at me for me to "review" and sign. As I reviewed it, he tells me I don't have to read it, just sign it. I would not recommend buying a car from this company ever! read more

I have never been treated so poorly by a car dealership. I have bought two cars in the past from Commonwealth Dodge, but this was a terrible experience. I was looking to trade in my car for a truck. Admittedly, I knew I was upside down on my car and a deal might be difficult (information that I shared up front). Also admittedly, I am not that financially savvy in terms of understanding exactly how auto loans are figured. Although my salesperson was fine, the sales manager, Kenny, was rude, condescending, and dishonest. When I asked for him to indulge me by going through the calculations with me so that I understood, he told me he didn't have to and that the computer did it all. When I said I wasn't comfortable with it, he said, "Some people don't know when their getting a good deal." Finally, I was able to speak with someone in the finance department who explained the loan to me to my satisfaction, and we were able to agree to terms on the loan. Part of the agreement was that I would put $500 down. I waited well over another hour on paperwork and allowed my debit card to be charged the $500 because I was led to believe we had a deal. I finally insisted that I needed to get home and would return the next day. They even had me clean out my trade in and let me take the truck home. I was told the paperwork would be ready for me the next day. Upon returning the next day, the deal was not what we had agreed upon. I was obviously angry, especially because they had taken my money under false pretenses. I demanded my money from Kenny to which he replied, "I'll put it back on your card." That was five days ago, and my $500 is still not back in my account. Since then, I've received texts from the customer service manager still attempting to sell me the truck, assuring me that my money would be put back, yet it never has. Kenny, if you read this, I would just like to say that I work in healthcare and if we ever cross paths in my arena, rest assured that you will be treated with the respect that a customer, or another person for that matter, deserves. I'm sure you don't care, and that's fine with me. However, I will never give you my business again and I will do my best to discourage any of my friends, family, and anyone who will listen from shopping at Commonwealth Dodge. read more

I recently had our 09 Journey in for recall repairs 1st complaint - I called the Swope Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Etown, KY dealer, the looked to see if they had the parts in, said they did, scheduled me in for ORC and WIN recall repairs. When I went in for repair they told me that they no longer had MY parts and they had to re-order the parts and I had to reschedule. I called the Commonwealth Dodge dealer in Louisville, KY and had them also order the parts. A few weeks later Etown calls me and lets me know my parts are in, I let them know that I would not be returning to them for repairs and let them know that I was going to use Commonwealth Dodge. Etown dealer informed me that I needed have my parts released to Commonwealth Dodge. I called Commonwealth Dodge and asked them if they could get the parts from the Etown dealer and they said that they could not do that because the parts were tracked by VIN # and Etown would have to send them back to Chrysler and Chrysler would have to send them back to Commonwealth Dodge. 2nd complaint - If the parts were tracked by VIN then why was I told that both dealerships had to check to see if they had the parts in to begin with? Then why was Commonwealth Dodge not allowed to pick up the very same tracked parts for the very same vehicle those parts to be used on from the Etown dealer? 3rd complaint - When I called the Etown dealer the first time to see how long it would take to repair the ORC the service manager told me it would take about an hour, all they were going to do was zip tie two wires together. But they didn't have the parts to do this? ZIP TIES? 4th complaint - Commonwealth Dodge allegedly repaired the ORC and said that the airbag light on the dash was still on and that they would run a diagnostic on it if I wanted but it would cost me $130.00. Wouldn't this be checked after the repairs were done? Is this a scam repair? Now I am looking at another possible recall for NHTSA Campaign: 10V658000. The Wires Within the Front Door Wire Harnesses May Fatigue and Break, which Can Interrupt the Circuits for the Side Impact Sensor(s), Resulting in an Airbag Warning Lamp Illumination and Loss of Side Crash Sensing Capability. I just want this vehicle that I paid for to operate like it was supposed to when I bought it. Neither one of these dealerships gave me the customer service that I was expecting. I guess that customer service is only good for the paying customers, either paying for service of making payments on a vehicle. They leave the cars unlocked, so I was able to drive up and inspect the vehicles without going to the office and have a sales person hover. I love that no one came over to distract my inspection, but what I found was disturbing. There were cigarette ashes in the floor of one vehicle in the back seat; the drivers seat looked like it had never seen a detailers handi-work and needed a good shampoo. Another vehicle... same problem. Dirty black cloth seats and what looked like a very angry customer scraping paint and trim with a sharp object on a fairly new vehicle. The third vehicle, was once again less than clean. Their inventory looks to be unkempt which is not what I would expect at full retail price. read more
