When we realized our water heater was due for a replacement we called Kai and crew again. They took care of the installation and we were good to go, or so we thought. The new water heater had a manufacturer defect (not Community Heating & Cooling's fault). I contacted Kai who immediately went into action to get a replacement from the manufacturer. A few days later, the team were back to quickly replace the faulty heater with a new one. They were super quick and we have had no issues since then! A true test of a company is when things don't quite go perfectly. Kai is a rock star and took great care of us, despite the manufacturer defect. We had purchased a heating/cooling plan, back in the spring; I believe it was 2 annual visits to service the AC and heater. They texted to confirm an appointment in October which we couldn't make work. I tried to call at least 3 times to reschedule and there's no answer. Left voicemails each time. Their website is down/non-existent. I tried texting them as well. Looks like they're gone. Lesson learned I suppose; don't prepay for a service. read more

Apparently Community Heating & Cooling went out of business in September 2023. No one answers the phone---I have tried ~10 times between Sept 29, 2023 and Jan 24, 2024 and when you leave a message no one ever calls back. Their address turns out to be a UPS store that has mail boxes for rent. The persons in the UPS mail box store will not give out any information on clients who rent mail boxes from them. I had prepaid$215 for yearly preventive maintenance that was never performed. read more

First I don't normally leave reviews but Kai and Corey at Community Heating and Cooling are amazing. They have kind and respectful employees as well. We replaced the baseboards in our house with a new system. After getting 7 bids from local heating companies we went with Community! Not only were they the least expensive, they were the only company that offered a heat pump without making us purchase a furnace. I knew it was possible but every company besides Community said I had to purchase a furnace. They gave us what we wanted and it works great. Installation was professional, clean and quick. They offer 0% for 60 months which was nice. Easy to communicate with and scheduling was quick. Community Heating and Cooling is the only heating company that we will use and recommend in the future. My heat pump wasnt working good, i went and checked if it was on and i noticed my copper line set was really messed up. They used a 3/4 copper line and stuck a 1/2in copper pipe and brazed a big glob on it so they would fit together instead of using 3/4 to 1/2 adapter. not quality and was dodgy work. i decided to use black hills hvac to fix problem. They had an experienced installer come out instead of a young teenager who just started *Update* they deleted my review, i will keep posting this until it stays. They are manipulative. read more

Update: Community Heating and Cooling dropped off the face of the earth. We called, texted, emailed without a response. We decided to wait until the summer rush was over since they seemed so busy. However, when we once again perused connection with Kai, we discovered that she and her company had disappeared without a trace. Our permit inspection was not approved and there were multiple issues to be resolved but now we will have to hire and pay someone else. We thought we had hired a respectable and trustworthy company only to discover the opposite. I would recommend that before paying an invoice for work performed that you either get a signed off inspection or retain 10 to 20% of the invoice until the work has been signed off by the inspector. Also, perhaps watch out for companies who sign their emails with "Blessings" and make claims like "The heart of our company is to build lasting relationships with every family we serve. We are passionate about serving our community and committed to honoring each family with quality work, reliable service, and superior products. We start each day with a grateful heart and Praise God for all his blessings." Perhaps Kai thinks that she has God's blessing to cheat her customers. read more

My 2year old daughter loved her. They then came out to install the heat pump in a very timely matter and it took them less than a full day! They came prepared, everyone we worked with at this business was a positive and helpful interaction. They provided extensive knowledge of their product, how to use the new system and keep it working well for years to come. They made sure to let us know how available they were if we had any questions or concerns, but we haven't needed to because they did such a great job. I'm more than happy with the service we received from Kai and Daniel. I called on Thursday told them we couldn't stand the urine and dead mice smell anymore (we have been dealing with it for awhile) Kai was able to rearrange their schedule and Daniel was at our house on Friday at 10am just like they said. They gave me a call about 15mins prior to his arrival which was nice too. Daniel was very efficient and honest about what he was doing. We ended up needing more than duct cleaning because the rodents have chewed through the soft part. She took the time to answer all my questions and even explained to me all the possible problems, solutions and tentative prices. My heat pump stopped working exactly at the year mark of having it, company who installed it refused to help since warranty was over. My furnace stopped working a week ago, on a Friday, during the coldest days during winter! I called a bunch of businesses around Oly and Tumwater and nobody was able to come out immediately to look at my furnace, (the earliest was on Monday). I WOULDNT EVEN GIVE THEM ONE STAR!!!!!! i wouldnt recommend this company to my worst enemy... after two week of getting the run around on them needing to order another part ... oh wait now we need you to pay overnight shipping for another part that we dont have.. oh wait now we broke a part and we will fix it for free but we wont actually show up to fix it until your threatened with a lawyer.. and then when you do show up to fix it you jimmy rig it and leave me in a house that is leaking gas from the fireplace..so now i am having to call PSE because my house is so full of natural gas that i cant even be in it for five minutes and when they arrived they could not believe that a business would do such horrible work... so thank you for claiming that you are a family business and that you care about the community.. that is faulse advertisemnt seeing as you left me and my oved ones in a gas filled house that could have exploded due to your carelessness...
