I wasn't thrilled with this place. A big part of the issue was probably that they only take cash. I'm just not used to that anymore. They did have a lot of merchandise but the aisles were tight. I found a couple items that I liked that were a good deal. There were quite a few people working throughout the store and they processed people quickly through the registers. Overall, I would say the prices were pretty good, but I didn't look at a lot of the merchandise which happened to be clothing. for me, this may not be the best place to shop, but if I was local, I could definitely see spending some time here.

Standard thrift store offering clothes, furniture, shoes, bags, and picture frames. It had some nice AC throughly the store and a wide variety of items for the size. The staff was very informative and kind. They offered color codes for the sales and doable prices.

Cash only. So this place is bizarre. I've been driving by for years and years and have been in dozens of times wondering what the what people see in this place walking out with nothing. Prices can be very high so far as thrift stores go and why the parking lot's always so busy, I don't even know. Even when for all those years the sign was blown off from whatever hurricane, the lot's always full up. ...until I learned how it works here. They tee it high and let it fly with the prices, at least at first. Then things get discounted over time. Anyway, while I wouldn't go so far as to say this's exactly a honey hole, what I would say is that some pretty good stuff tends to sit around until it's deeply discounted. Customers tend to wait for the discounts, so in a way, you've got a better shot at the premium stuff if you're willing to pay the premium prices. I've had some good luck getting Polo, Birkenstock, Doc Marten, etc. Lots of panning for gold here. Parking can be hard even though the lots large, crowds can be oppressive, and there's a lot of junk to root through. Staff's always been friendlier than your usual thrift store. And from the customers, I'm told a lot of this stuff goes overseas. Not sure if it's true, but that's the rumor.

Very organized and clean. They have nice items but it is overpriced. It is cash only and the line is always very long.

I was surprised to see they had a deal on the already discounted items where anything with an orange tag was 50% off. I got two shirts at $1 each! This store was extremely clean and well organized. I was able to find a Disney shirt that still had the original tag on it. The employees were super nice and this was a great experience so I would recommend the store to anyone looking for a good location!

They had so many different shoes to look through that they even had different areas set up for specific shoe colors. Since there are so many shoes for women, they are all pretty affordable. However, they were not as many shoes for men so they were a bit more on the expensive side. Most of the men's shoes that I found for my husband started at about $15 and went all the way up to over $100. For used shoes I wouldn't pay anything over $20. The cashiers were friendly. I saw an item behind the shelves that I wanted a price check on and the lady helped me. If you're in the area and you're looking to pick up some thrifted goods, I would definitely recommend checking this store out. They do have a restroom inside but you need to push the button by the door and wait for an employee to come let you into the bathroom. Make sure if you're with someone else that they take your items because you're not allowed to bring merchandise into the restroom with you.

One of the reasons it's my favorite shop is because of how curated it is. There's a smaller home section with a huge selection of dishes and fine china. There's also other good home finds as well. The clothing section is good, but not so large it's overwhelming. I love the designer section, there's always something good there. Additionally, they just added a trinket trade box to the store, so be sure to check that out!!

4 Stars for a great cause to support with your donations and some great finds!…read more When I was looking for an ethical organization where I could donate items I don't use anymore, I was so thrilled to find Out of the Closet. According to their website, Out of the Closet Thrift Store (OTC) was founded in 1990 to help raise funds and awareness for AIDS Healthcare Foundation. When you shop or donate at Out of the Closet, 96 cents of every dollar made goes to AIDS Healthcare Foundation's HIV prevention and treatment services. Dropping donations off is very easy- you pull up just past the front retail door to another closed exterior door which has a sign to ring a bell for assistance. From there someone comes out to receive the donations. As a thrift shop, I've been able to find a great furniture piece as well as a few tops. They have lots of clothes and some home goods, depending on the week. With that said, it's not the best thrift store in terms of inventory and pricing, but you know you're supporting a good cause and there are some hidden gems. I'll keep donating here and perusing for some fun thrift finds!
