From the business page on Facebook, Thursday taco special.

A converted diner that is now a counter service family run Guatemalan taco shop that regularly has weekend special soups and on Thursdays does 10 tacos for $20. Looks like absolutely nothing on the outside, but the tortillas are handmade to order and I always get extra to-go for next day breakfast tacos at home. The decor is pretty basic, but appealing in its own way. The staff is super friendly and the tacos are the best I've had since moving out of California. I appreciate that there's always easy parking since it's in a strip mall.

Very unassuming store front in a small strip mall plaza. There are several tables inside if you decide to eat in or you can do take out. The woman taking my order was very friendly. Just two workers but they did a great job getting orders out quickly. I got a piña colada to drink and it was super refreshing and tasty. Quite large too. I wanted to try all the tacos but they were out of birria and lengua. So I ended up with chorizo, chicken, pastor/pork, and asada/steak. Simple and topped with onions and cilantro. The salsas were very tasty and the red salsa had some heat to it. With a side of limes and cucumbers. It was a nice drive going there, but a bit out of the way for me.

Birria and Al pastor tacos, to go!

Great flavor! If you like Mexican, but really good Mexican, this is the place. Fresh and delicious! Husband is very picky and he fell in love at the first bite. My favorite? Birria tacos. My husband says all are amazing so far, he has tried Al pastor, asada and birria. Totally recommended

Last summer, the dining room was so hot that people took their dishes outdoor to the picnic tables to eat. Tres Primos has good food and lots of it so it's often very crowded at dinner time. We were fortunate to have come for an early dinner and were the only diners on a snowy day. Service is with a smile and the people that work here seem to enjoy each other's company and enjoy serving customers. The tables and chairs are the best, colorful with beautiful depictions of Mexico. For whatever you order, be prepared to have it served on a platter that's fit for a king, or in my case queen. Food is good and fresh. There is plenty to drink, including a variety of beers and cocktails . There's nothing like drinking a corona to top off a Mexican meal. I ordered what is really a sampler plate with a little bit of everything. I had a Chalupa, a quesadilla, tacos, and a member of other things. Of course, this comes complete with rice and beans. Needless to say, I had a second meal with the leftovers the following night. P.S., they have very good salsa that is served as soon as you were seated with your chips. Don't be afraid to ask for a refill.

Here, the food is never prepared in an overly curated-for-Instagram-but-empty-inside kind of way, but rather with a focus on simple ingredients prepared with care in a slow-food way that emphasizes their deep, rich flavor. My favorite is the Al pastor taco with pineapple, a combo of guacamole and chipotle salsas, with fried cheese added on top of the diced onions and cilantro. To die for!! And still only $5 each. This afternoon, after eating literally hundreds of their tacos over the last few years, I tried their smash burger. Absolutely outstanding! Might be the best burger in town as well, it's honestly that good. And only $10! A few weeks ago I had a burger from a local restaurant for $20, which seems to be the going rate, and it paled in comparison to their oh!-so-tasty-you-can't-stop-licking-your-fingers burger! And if you ask, they'll customize it for you with a fried egg, or in my case, with lots of extra fried onions. Their torta sandwiches have also garnered a cult following due to their packed ingredients and massive size, still just for $14. If you're lucky, in the warmer months Eduardo might be serving some of his delicious aqua frescas, or even better, some of his incredible lemonade beverages. Sooooo refreshing! The bonus: you get to hang out with these cool and friendly guys Eduardo & Carlos, as well as their friendly staff who work so hard to make your food so delicious. This place is truly an Ithaca treasure! And more good news: they just moved (May 2026) from Press Bay Alley (118 W Green St) to Press Bay Court (114 W Green St), where they now offer plenty of indoor seating, a big improvement over the old place that only had room for a handful of people at a time. Their outdoor seating has grown as well, and the overall ambiance is more festive and fun. Do yourself a favor - go get some of those mouth-watering tacos, and definitely try the smash burger!
