Charged gratuity of 18 percent with informing us for just a party of 5. No where in the restaurant does it state this. Not the menu or cash register. The employees don't tell you either. The bread was also horrible and my garlic linguini pasta was super dry.

I've always liked this restaurant, but haven't been here in years. The food was as good as I remember! I had Chicken Jerusalem- it was marvelous, The chicken was breaded and pan-friend perfectly with a creamy sauce loaded with mushrooms and an artichoke in top! My friend had chicken Marsala and he said His was wonderful as well. I plan to go back!

We stopped here for quick lunch instead of Olive Garden. Their food was okay, but bit too pricey compared to Olive Garden or Macaroni Grill. The restaurant has no window. So every time someone opens the door, the entire restaurant lights up and felt weird.

Ordered through Doordash. VERY GOOD. I would have appreciated utensils and salt & pepper but I would 100% recommend.

Very old-fashioned, and not in a good way. The interior is cave-like, and the food tends to taste like it came out of a can.

Usually, large group seatings brings service glitches, food glitches, less than optimal food temperatures and less than optimal drinks service. Trattoria Bella Sera absolutely nailed our experience with professional perfection every single element of the experience. Our group cherishes the times we can be all together and this wonderful experience is deeply appreciated by all of us. The food: Just stand out in all regards from the simplest pasta and red sauce (in my case, the cherished puttanesca which I make often at home) to the seafood and pasta white sauces, to the appetizers which we all shared (OMG, try the mushrooms in cream sauce and the bread and garlic!). The service: a single waitress took all our orders and she was just perfect. The plate delivery and eventual removal was a team effort and all were served at the same moment. Even the plate removal was done perfectly by the waitress and the bus lady. The dining room: We were set aside and a little out of the way of other dinners in a large high ceilinged room with really exceptional lighting and decors. Result was it was quiet enough that we could comfortably talk before, during and after the dinner which really added to the whole experience. The cost: One of the siblings picked up the tab but simple pasta plates are mostly $18 (my puttanesca was $2 additional and very worth it), then the $24 pasta and protein plates, then the $26 higher end plates and the $30 3-course plates. Note that most pasta plates are served in deep bowls with 1/3 of the sauce at the bottom and very hot so that the entire dish stays hot through the meal. Star ratings: If I could give them a 6 star rating I would.

When we found out that we could order via catering I went straight for it. I let my wife know and she got excited like I was. We ordered our favorite chicken Parmesan and it came with four servings of the chicken Parmesan, a full tray of spaghetti with the sauce, a full tray of the garlic bread, a full tray of the salad, and with all the fixings in assorted to go containers, and it costs just over 60 bucks. When I brought it home it was memory Lane for our taste buds and for our stomach. And triggered off all the memories that we talked about when Cappettos used to be open on Montana. It would be great if they could reopen that building I believe it's still standing I'm not sure. Or just reopened. Period! We're definitely going to do a repeat reordering because they're still so much more of the menu to revisit. We're looking forward to it

Available for free pick-up or delivery with a delivery fee. *I'm in a Cappetto's Fan Page on facebook and came across a fellow fanatic who posted this tidbit of news lol. I was to finally be reunited with my seafood fettuccine and was counting down the days. I marked it for pickup and the prices for the amount of food was A STEAL. Make sure to order extra garlic bread because you will open up the catering pan and eat a few on your way home. They have a half tray of 24 slices of garlic bread and salad for $20. Once I got home, I started realizing that the amount of sauce for the fettuccine was more than enough. We honestly had leftover to dip bread in for the next few days. The pasta for a half tray was about $60 and fed our family. The breakdown per cost per plate is definitely max bang for your buck. Every bite was my childhood and upbringing coming back to life. I was in disbelief I was having my favorite dish in El Paso once again. My family now knows we will have A Taste of Cappetto's everytime I'm back in town. Honestly, I jokingly would make a comment I'd sell my kidney for Cappetto's again so IDK if I'm now contractually obligated to this with someone out there in the universe.

The restaurant is made up of individually themed rooms, each with its own personality, and the stories about the building's legendary hauntings only add to the charm. Our servers even shared some of the history, making the evening feel like more than just dinner. We sat in the casino room this visit and look forward to sitting in one of the other rooms next visit. The room was intimate and interesting but also allowed us to have a cozy meal with conversation. The food was outstanding. You can taste that the pasta is made to order and that the sauces are authentic and prepared with care. My friend and I shared the pasta nachos, lasagna, cheese ravioli, and chicken Parmesan, and every single dish was excellent. We somehow still found room for dessert and enjoyed the cheesecake, Mrs. B's strawberry cake w spumoni ice cream. The sauces were incredible and all was so fresh. What impressed me most, though, was the hospitality. This is a true family restaurant, and you can feel it. The service was exceptional, not just from our server, but from several members of the staff who stopped by to introduce themselves, check on us, and genuinely make us feel welcome. The pacing of the meal was perfect. We had heard about the famous singing waiter, but unfortunately was out sick. Even so, they surprised us by arranging a special serenade over the phone, despite the fact that we hadn't even ordered the pizza that usually comes with the performance of "That's Amore". It was such a thoughtful touch and perfectly reflects the heart of this restaurant. In a world where so many restaurants feel alike, this place is a rare gem in Central El Paso. Incredible food, unforgettable atmosphere, and genuinely warm people. We'll absolutely be back.
