A friend, coworker, and fellow foodie introduced me to this hidden gem. I have been here many times and have yet to find something I don't like about this place. The beef brisket sandwich always tastes great. The nachos here are also very good. While the meat here is very good the sides are some of my favorites. If they have Mac n Cheese be sure to try it. It is some of the best tasting Mac n cheese I have had. Their BBQ beans are great as well. If you are in the mood to be healthy you might want to try the Green Beans. They are very good as well. The BBQ Sauce is all homemade and tastes very great. You can buy the sauce while you are there if you want to use it at home. read more

First of all...... I LOVE the food ..... but it has seemed the last 3 times I visited for dinner, they are always out of at least one product. I get the reasoning, but you would think if you are running out of products by 6 pm, that you would increase the daily amount. I hope they survive the opening of the new restaurant. read more

As much as I hate to, I have to edit my original review based on my experiences the last few months. Their food is still delicious, BUT I have to agree with a previous reviewer they are ALWAYS out of food. I have gone in there 5-6 times over the last month to order mac n cheese, and they have been out every time. Also usually out of turkey, and they got rid of the amazing white potato salad I mentioned before. My biggest compliant though, is the service of one specific worker. She is incredibly disrespectful and rude to customers, and while at first I thought it might just be me, several other friends have confirmed they no longer go there because of this person. So unfortunately, I will be looking for a new BBQ place to get my fix from. :( Company B is one of my husbands and I go to dinner choices when we are too lazy to cook. :) The service is always great whether you order to go or eat in. Their to go orders are SO quick! Prices are great, easy to get a dinner for two with the BEST sweet tea ever (sorry Mcalisters!) for under $20. Their macaroni is unbelievable, but make sure to catch it in the fall/winter since they don't carry it in the summer. The white potato salad is delicious as well. I've tried all the different sandwiches/meats and could not pick a favorite, they are all equally delicious. Everything I have tried there has actually been great, so you really can't go wrong. Definitely worth the drive if you don't live in House Springs. Friendly service, delicious food, great prices, and most importantly, don't forget to get the sweet tea!! read more

This place is AWESOME!!!! My dogs vet tipped me off to the place since she is right across the way on Walter Dr. The food is sooooo freaking good. I usually have the pooches with me so get an order to go of meat by the pound or ribs but have dined inside a few times when the weather has permitted a short stay for the dogs in the car (late cool fall - overcast day). Service is quick & friendly. The place is nothing fancy but it is clean and the food MORE than makes up for the simple setting. Pulled pork, smoked chicken, ribs.....AMAZING! So smokey good. And the homemade chips are awesome. Haven't tried any of the other sides so can't comment on them. Someone saying they could get pulled pork that tasted the same out of their crockpot? Uh...that comment right there tells me they don't really appreciate the difference between a smoked pulled pork & a steamed/braised pork shoulder which is basically what a crockpot does. Super yummy bbq with a friendly wait staff. We stopped here twice on the way to and from camp! Great find. The bbq beans are 5 stars. NOT sickening sweet like some places. This is one of my family's go-tos for our Sunday family dinners. We usually get the family pack which comes with 2 meat options, buns, chips, and 2 sides. Typically we get the pulled pork and pulled chicken, which are our favorites! Recently they were out of the chicken so we decided to go with turkey. While the turkey was moist, it was fairly bland and a bit disappointing. We have also had the brisket which is good! The chips are hit or miss. If they are fresh they are the best chips I've ever had, but if they have been sitting for a while they can become a bit rubbery. For sides, we typically get the green beans and potato salad, both of which are good. Overall the family pack is a great deal and feeds the 5 of us with a bit leftover. We also love the different barbecue sauces that come with the meal, and each of us has our own favorites. While this place is a little hole-in-the-wall, they do a great business with their take-out options and we will continue coming back for years to come! read more

Stopped by on a double date for my husband's birthday. We did not have to wait to be seated. The restaurant is clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We ordered the Red Neck Nachos minus the black olives. They were incredible. If you have stopped here for food, make sure you try this unique and yummy appetizer. Three of us ordered brisket and one person ordered ribs. The meat is very tender and juicy. The sauces are all flavorful and each unique from the others. The loaded potato salad was definitely one of the best I have ever had. Very creamy and full of flavors. We came about an hour and a half before closing and they were out of t urkey and mac and cheese. I think that is pretty standard and reasonable for a bbq joint. The only negative and it is was not a big deal for us because we were not in a hurry, but there was only person in the front of the house to take both to go orders and sit down orders. This is a great little bbq joint with fresh food made daily so when its gone its all gone. My dad loves the redneck nachos and I love the spud with pulled pork. All the meats I have tried taste great and the homemade chips are awesome. The only negative I have is that the register area seems really cluttered and is very different from the rest of the super clean and neat dining room. read more

The worst thing about this place is how far away from home it just happens to be...but hey, can't blame them for where I live! Company B is right across Highway 30 from my vet's office and I'm always sad when I don't have time to stop. First and foremost, they have TWO potato salads and one doesn't have onions! Happy Court is happy. :) I almost always get pulled pork from bbq places because it's hard to go wrong and they haven't yet. The chicken and beef are also great from here. I'd say my absolute favorite is the Alabama white sauce. I usually forego eating it with the chips until I've gotten my fill of it on my dinner. I'd never heard of it before trying it here but it might be my favorite kind of bbq sauce now. They also have killer sweet tea and lovely service. I've only dined in a couple times as I've usually got the dog(s) with me but they are always friendly and super quick no matter how I'm getting food. Again, my only complaint is that they're so far away! Perhaps an expansion to south city is in order...hint hint. ;) read more

Great food- inexpensive prices! Staff is friendly, restaurant is clean, food comes out quickly. I have dropped in and ordered food to go- and never have to wait long for that either. I really like the redneck nachos- they are made with their own homemade potato chips. Pork is delicious too, and there are a variety of sauces at the table. They have a decent beer selection, although I usually stick to the iced tea. Not a lot of ambience inside the restaurant, but it's a relatively small place. Oh- and cheap lunch specials too. My family loves their pulled pork and homemade chips! This has been a regular 'go to' place for us for quite some time. However in recent months we have found one of the main waitresses to be very rude and as a result it's made us change how often we come here. We've begun making the longer trip into Sunset Hills to visit Bandanas. I really wish it would it would get better, but if we're going to go somewhere and spend our hard earned money I dont want to leave there feeling ticked off by some waitress despite how good the food is. read more
