This is the third time I've called to put in a takeout order and was told they were too busy. I was willing to wait for my food, but was not even given the option. The food is good, but not good enough to even try to give them business again. This has been an issue for many of my neighbors as well and they refuse to go there ever again. I hope they read this review and change for the sake of continuing business.

Authentic Italian cuisine made from scratch. Husband said it was the best steak filet he ever had, my pasta was delicious also.

The restaurant was cleaner inside and it was busy but not overall packed. Our waitress checked in on us frequently to keep our drinks full! I got the shrimp speidini and white pasta. The shrimp was deliciously buttery, and the white pasta was very delicious as well. Each time it's a consistent experience, so we'll be back again!

Every one of them the food has dropped in quality, quantity and consistency while prices skyrocket up. Some of the restaurants are better than others but still nothing like what it use to be. Servers and bartenders are still good for the most part. Couple weeks ago we tried Frankie G's Imperial one more time and we were there with friends that have also been going for years, we both agreed it would be our last time unless you guys change your ways. One of the other main issue is management. Same visit our friend informed one of the workers that the woman's restroom was disgusting. Male manager shortly after peeked his head into the men's restroom and yelled is it dirty or disgusting in here? He stated he didn't think it was and actually was asking customers if it was because someone complained. It wasn't horrible in the mens, but it wasn't really clean either. Dude just clean your restrooms. Didn't even realize it was the woman's restroom in question and didn't see him address it. Our same friends were there couple weeks earlier and it wasn't really busy since it was early. They hadn't received their food in over an hour while others that came in after, got their food. My buddy asked the woman manager what was going on and she snapped at him saying the kitchen was really busy and they would get their food when its ready? They finally got their food and wasn't that great as well as the manager was mean mugging my buddy the entire time. It got so bad he actually was mean mugging back. No apologies or recognition of the problem, only an attitude and mean mugging a customer. Unbelievable, my buddy is an easy going very nice guy and got a chuckle out doing the same thing to her. But if she would have done that crap to me I would've went up to her and demanded she call her boss. Completely unacceptable behavior. I've owned and managed a successful buisness for 30 years, would never think of doing anything like this and would never allow any of my employees to act like this without being reprimanded and or fired. Apparently management is so arrogant and blind to see problems at hand and or just don't care. Its not the customers fault you suck now. Get your crap together and get back to old school basics like you use to do. Such a shame and hope the owners start to realize this and make the needed changes.

Parking is easy within a block or two. Outdoor, booth, and table seating is available. My husband had the gluten free pasta because it is also vegan, and no lie and true to form, it was delightful and light! The tomato sauce is Perfection: not too acidic, not too sweet, letting the grand yet humble tomato shine. I chose the puttanesca, one of my favorite traditional Italian pastas. I would order this again!! Had plenty for lunch the next day. Not to be left out: the toasted ravs and cannoli. I've had a few T-ravs since moving to StL, and these are excellent. The tomato sauce for dipping, once again, is a real treat. The cannolis? Precious, flaky, and dreamy. I ate one at our table and took the second bad boy home. FIRE.

It's a big restaurant with lots of seating and an extensive menu. The service was friendly and attentive. For an appetizer we chose toasted ravioli and they were some of the best I have had. Flavorful filling, crispy exterior, and plenty of Parmesan cheese. We all really enjoyed these. The complimentary bread with olive oil was also nice while we waited. Not a ton of places still have this. I also liked that the olive oil was seasoned which gave it a nice kick. For entrees we ordered two lasagnas, salmon pasta and a frisco burger. All were good but the lasagna was the standout. A little spicy and very filling. The salmon could have used a little extra salt but I loved the grilled flavor. Since it was my birthday they gave me a complimentary mini cannoli. It was so cute and very tasty! If I wasn't so full I would have loved a full sized one. If we go back again I would try a pizza and Palmer's style chicken. Both looked really good!

There were other people there. The hostess and waitress were very hospitable. I ordered the lasagna with a side salad, and my wife ordered the chicken modiga. We heard the portions were big, and that is the truth. My serving of lasagna was about 4 inches square and about 3 inches tall. Multiple layers of pasta and meat and other yummy stuff. I ate about half and took the other half home. My wife's chicken modiga was also huge. She got two breaded chicken breasts and a pile of pasta. She ate about half of one chicken breast and brought the rest home. The chicken breast that she started eating was great. Nice breading. Nice lemony sauce. The next day we reheated our leftovers. We each got some lasagna, and we split the chicken breasts (I got the whole second one and she got the one she started on the night before). The lasagna tasted as good as the first time. This is what I noticed on the chicken breasts. The whole chicken breast tasted like it had a rubbery side to it. I suspect that particular chicken breast had freezer burn on the one side. The other chicken breast was perfect. I had my wife try my chicken breast and she agreed, kind of rubbery. I don't know if this is a one off thing or if this happens often. As I stated this was my first time there. That is why I am taking one star off for my review. Other than that chicken breast, everything was great! I will eat there again. I highly recommend the lasagna.

So, this year, we were again passing through St Louis on my birthday and I wanted to go back. I was hoping that it was as good as I remembered. I feared that I would be disappointed but I wasn't. It was as great as I remembered. I had their rigatoni with sausage, my wife had baked spaghetti with meatballs, my BIL had lasagna and my SIL had salmon. I also added a classic Ceasar salad. All of our entrees were excellent. The service is superb and definitely deserves a 5-star rating.
