I have used Complete Appliance Repair THREE times for 3 different appliances - dishwasher, microwave, and now refrigerator. The first couple of times I called around, but Complete is always the quickest to pick up the phone, the easiest to schedule with (this is a huge deal with my erratic work schedule), always shows up on time and in a reasonable window (none of this "here's a 3-4 hour window to wait around your house for us to maybe show up" business like other companies) with a phone call in advance, and they are always prompt with identifying the problem, getting parts and scheduling repair. I found their prices very reasonable and customer service excellent. From this point forward, they are my go-to, and I highly recommend them, particularly for those of you who like working with professionals who respect your time and money. read more

Couldn't have asked for a better experience with these guys. Our gas oven was found to be emitting dangerous levels of CO. It took 5 days to get an appointment, which the woman on the phone apologized about, but I told her I'd take the appointment anyway, because she was the only one who answered her phone! Sure glad I took it, because the other two highly rated appliance repair companies I found on Yelp! not only didn't answer their phones, neither of them ever returned my message. Had a technician arrive today within the time estimate. I didn't catch his name, but he was professional, courteous and quick. Thankfully, he had the necessary parts on hand, and was in and out in under an hour. He even gave me a few tips regarding our next oven purchase. read more

The water intake valve broke on my dishwasher. Not a difficult repair but I didn't have the time or inclination to do it myself, so I called Complete Appliance. They couldn't come out for three days, but I thought three days wasn't long to wait since the dishwasher would be fixed then. I told them on the phone exactly what was wrong and the make and model of my dishwasher. The technician showed up half an hour past the scheduled time window, told me the water intake valve was broken (no kidding) and that he didn't have the part and couldn't get it for at least four days - which would mean I'd have to take more time off work or away from family for them to come back. I went that afternoon and got the part and fixed it myself, no way was I waiting over a week total for a simple repair. Now they're trying to bill me for a service call for which they showed up late and did nothing. Really poor customer service. read more

Wonderful service. I called Complete Appliance Repair early this week and was scheduled right away. The one hour window was very helpful. Otto was great. He worked with us to find the best option to fix our washer. Turns out Maytag sucks and we have to get a new washer (cost to fix exceeded the cost to replace). Their prices are extremely reasonable. Very pleased with the service provided, Our fancy (read: expensive) Kitchenaid 8-burner, side by side oven system cratered when I used the oven's self-cleaning feature. An appointment was quickly set up when we called, and Otto was diligent in working through the diagnostics. This is a complicated and HEAVY appliance. It took three visits (7 hours total), the first two of which my husband was available to help slide it out, but Otto was on his own for the last one. Despite having to slide this mammoth appliance in and out by himself, he took care to make sure the furniture sliders stayed under the front legs so the wood floors wouldn't get scratched. Three parts were ultimately fried on one of the ovens due to the self-cleaning cycle, and of course they were only accessible via the back of the unit. Note to homeowners: Save yourself the repair bill by NOT using the self-cleaning cycle on the Kitchenaid brands. A little internet research will confirm this design flaw that has existed for many years. read more

We called Complete Appliance Repair on a Tuesday regarding a washing machine that wouldn't spin. Asked if they could come by Thursday and no problem there. The tech showed up on time and was courteous. The only problem I had was the final bill of $250. By doing a little research I found that the broken part (actuator) is around $60 and the tech was here for about 30 mins. Seems a little steep to me, but hey, the machine works. Next time I'll do a little more troubleshooting before calling. read more

Excellent company - very personable, honest and competent repair technician who came on time and made a very reasonable estimate of $400 to fix a stove top burner that would not ignite (estimate based on worst case scenario if needed to replace complete burner valve and extra labor if needed). Ordered the part needed then called back when part received and made appointment to do the repair at a time of my convenience. Came on time, made the repair and only needed to replace a cheaper part ($4 micro-switch) so total cost including service call, labor and part - $150. A great experience overall. The technician, Chris, called when he was on his way and arrived on the early end of the appointment window I was given to have my dishwasher fixed (it wasn't draining). He not only tolerated my looking over his shoulder, but also answered all of my questions. He looked around and quickly figured out and solved the problem. Very impressed with these folks! We have an older gas stove (1950s) that works well but just needed someone to tweak it to get it fully functioning. Customer service is wonderful starting with the gals who answered my calls. The master Tech arrived on time and he was very friendly. We had just moved in and decided to buy a new frig....and move the one that came included with the house. After moving it to a lower level the freezer worked but the frg. would not go below 50 degrees. I really wanted this second frig and decided that it was worth trying to repair it. The first visit was a service call and we were informed that he adjusted the vents and air flow. It worked for one day and then it went up to 50 degrees again.I called and for no second charge he came out again and did another adjustment which corrected things for 3 days. My husband said, "trash it". Instead I called and spoke to a lovely girl who told me she would have the Tech call us. Within 10 minutes he called and said with the details we explained we probably needed a new fan motor. Again an appointment was made and he again arrived on time and installed a fan motor which did the trick. it has now been ten days and my second frig is staying at 39 degrees. I decided to post this as I was so happy with Complete Appliance. p.s. As new homeowners in the Denver area we have been so dismayed with all the companies we have called for various projects who never called back or who gave us an appointment. ..but never showed up Kudos to all of the staff at Complete. If I could give 0 stars..... I would. About 1 hour after the tech left, my dog started to act very sick and strange. After 6+ hours at the emergency vet, and another animal ER, they told me he likely had coolant poisoning as his kindey labs were coming back with concerning results. Frantic calls to the tech's cell phone and to the company went un-answered and un-returned to try to gather more information for the docs so they could decide how to proceed. I finally got a call back today (we called Saturday afternoon) and they told me "don't know what happened with your dog, couldn't have been anything I did". I don't care how good the repair was done if a member of my family is nearly killed in the process! read more

I was visiting my daughter and her husband and my little granddaughter and was charged with being home when the dryer repairman was due to fix a very noisy squeaky dryer. The repair man was Josh. I have trained surgeons my whole career so I might be over critical expecting performance elements that one would need in surgeons to someone fixing a dryer. But, here goes. Josh was professional, pleasant and neat. He quickly diagnosed the problem. It took him no time to "open", replace the bearing that had worn out, clean years of dust and lint, and then 'close". His manual skills were top notch and he was friendly and relaxed in his conversation as he worked. I had asked if he minded me watching and he replied, "no problem". When my daughter came home he reviewed what he had done, the warranties, and gave some recommendations as to how to avoid the lint buildup in the future. I live in the Deep South and I have never encountered this type of service for appliances. If Josh ever tires of this job and wants to be a physician based on what I witnessed and 40 years of experience I think he would be terrific. Top of the line! They took care of a difficult job on my Viking stove. Chris brought over two parts to fix the stove, but then discovered that the problem was a couple melted wires. He fixed the wires, did other maintenance on the stove. The stove is working better than it has in a long time. The whole job cost me $185 for 3 1/2 hours of some intense work. I called these guys to investigate why my $1200.00 Over the range Microwave is not working. They quoted me $90 to come out and see it. They never showed up to their first appointment. I called them and was told that the technician was held up at his earlier appointment longer than expected so I rescheduled it for a week later. Once the technician arrived, the guy spent 5 minutes looking at the microwave without taking anything apart. he told my wife that it will cost a lot of money to repair and we should just buy a new one. He took her credit card and charged her $195.00. My wife questioned the amount and he told her that this was the rate and to call his office if we have a problem. I have been trying to reach someone at their office "their house" and no one answers or returns my calls. I ended up taking my microwave to Trail appliance and they fixed it by replacing a $28 dollar sensor. I tried supporting this small business but it was a mistake. they are crooks. My credit card company has been informed and the charge will not be approved . read more

Excellent customer service. My (ancient) dishwasher is making horrible screeching noises, although it's still cleaning properly. I called several appliance repair service providers listed here on Yelp. I described the problem and each offered to send out a repairman to diagnose the problem - with the cost of a service call. The friendly person who answered the call at Complete Appliance Repair let me know that while she didn't have the expertise to provide a best guess as to the issue that she would have a repairman call me when he was available. Jason called within the hour and was able to tell me over the phone what the problem was (bearings going bad). He even checked to see if he could still get a new motor for such an old machine. He could not, and discouraged me from attempting to repair it. He may have lost a service call, but he gained admittance to my list of services to call in the future. While I'm not hoping for an occasion to need his services, I am pleased to have been introduced in this way. This company has earned my trust. It took four trips over a period of five weeks, but I still give Complete Appliance a 5-star rating because they didn't just take my money the first time and not follow through. Our 3-year old refrigerator's ice-maker started leaking and making odd noises. First trip diagnosed that the ice-maker assembly needed to be replaced. Second trip was to put in the part. Third trip was because the unit was still dripping water every time it made a batch of ice. Fourth trip was beacuse the ice maker started sounding like a dentist's drill all day and night. Jason was persistent and finally adjusted water fill and alignments to get things right. No charges for the follow-up visits! All times Jason arrived within the scheduled window and the office staff always answered the phone quickly and were very courteous about the ongoing problem. read more

Professional service, however, to repair after diagnosis of 1.5 year old higher end appliances the cost was quite high. When I questioned the charges I was told it was a software program for establishing costs to repair. However, they were here one hour for the return visit to install parts and essentially my labor cost was $300 for one hour after retail cost of parts. They know what they are doing, but I believe most likely knew that the software program was to their benefit and as such used it to determine repair time. I thought the estimate was high, but did not have an idea on labor hours needed to do, plus already paid an initial visit to diagnosis the problem. I think they know what they are doing, however, when your appliance repair person shows up in a mercedes van .... well, guess I should have overlooked all the favorable reviews here. read more

After selecting this company based on other Yelp reviews, Brandon came to fix the cooling fan on our double oven which had gone out. He came out here first to determine the needed part and then again later in the week to install it and was courteous, very knowledgeable, and on time for both appointments (even patient with my dog and young kids running around). A minor piece got broken during the final install and he apologized profusely, then replaced it as well with no additional cost to me. He went above and beyond and we will definitely request him again when our next appliance needs repair. read more
