On June 8, 2026 I started installation of new flooring with Abbey Carpet and Floor in my hallways and 2 bathrooms. Upon removing the guest bathroom toilet, the plumber found water leaking from the toilet wax ring. Upon removing the old paradigm flooring, installers found old flooring to be wet underneath and moisture leading down the hallway. Matt Wagner of Abbey Carpet was notified as all work stopped due to possibility of mold and mildew. Matt immediately called Premier Restoration Hawaii and Ryker Hyde came within hours. Ryker checked the complete area in the bathroom and hallway with his moisture reader and infrared imaging function and found no visible moisture or signs of mold or mildew and floor installation was able to continue 2 days later. Whew!!! Ryker advised spaying a preventative microbial application around the toilet wax ring as a precautionary measure before new flooring is installed. Ryker was so professional and thorough in checking and explaining everything to me, a senior who knows very little about plumbing. Ryker was so caring and helpful and did not charge anything for his inspection and work that day. Wonderful!!! I would like to commend Kana'i, LEAD TECH. PRH was used by the complex I live in. The process to get people in, estimate for demolitions etc is way too long. There is an urgency when their company has to be used and I did not appreciate how long it would take. However I really liked Kana'i. He was responsive, professional and super courteous. I have been a Site manager for Condo Complexes for many years. When I started Premier Hawaii was the best in the business, however I had 2 situations at the same time that was delt with by PRH. One was by an owner whose insurance was taking care of the restoration, the other I recommended because the association was taking care of the restoration. Both situations took far longer than predicted and one was never completed even though I received a final bill saying the job was completed. When I asked the owner if it was done, she asked me to come and see. The Electrical panel with the breakers was still open and the cover on the ground (I believe a violation), the trim around the door was not put back and the floorboards missing in half the room. The closet sliders were not installed and the furniture not put back. Another company has been brought into complete the project and there is still $3,000 work to be completed. The Owner whose insurance is paying for the restoration, is not happy with the completed work after 3 months of no kitchen is just happy to have their house back and will deal with the short comings of the work done. The work by Premier Restoration Hawaii, was over charged, not done in a timely manner, and the lack of communication, not only with the client, but also amongst themselves. For the accounting to say they are done, without looking at the final project, is just awful. I will never recommend Premier Restoration Hawaii ever again. read more

Premier Restoration was a Godsend after our recent water damage caused by incorrectly installed Air Conditioning coolant pipe lines with its installation wrapped with electrical tape. Premier sent a Dylan over to assess the ceiling damage, and set up demolition of the damaged area. Michael Difolco was the final tech sent over to rebuild the ceiling drywall, and make it look like we never had any issues. Mike has a great sense of humor, and kept me informed of everything he had planned to do for us. Even though Premier has several current job sites across the city, Mike arranged two days work at our home within the span of just a few days. Mike takes pride in his work, and protected our property during the drywall installation, and painting. I consider him an artist with his drywall skills. We were tenants and owners of our unit used premier restoration. Overall happy with the outcome but the process was long and many handoffs to team leads from estimating to prepping then demoing then rebuilding. Too many numbers to keep up with wished it was one contact through the entire project. When on-site the person who would explain was kind and through answered all our questions and tried to give us accurate time lines. Once they were done (took 11 days. Estimated 1 morning. Measured on a fri before prepping for demo removal of vanity, toilet on a Monday. T-W demo THURS sealed off area had fan on enclosure since they said fri would have mold testing results. This place is the absolute worst. I used them to dry my home after a water leak, worst decision ever. They missed soo much. I had to go behind them and fix so much of their work. Premier Restoration did a great job getting out to my house quickly after an upstairs water supply hose to my washing machine failed and flooded my whole house. Their initial crew was great and the remediation portion went extremely well. Trying to get moving on the reconstruction portion has been as disappointing as I could have imagined. So, my opinion is that if you need someone to deal with the immediate damage, that department is great. The cost for a few days work was around $20,000 but they got it done well. If you are hoping that they are going to help you repair the damage do all of the things they tell you they are going to do to repair your home, I would think twice before believing them. read more

Donald continuosly followed up with us to make sure we were taken care of during the mediantion portion of our restoration . He informed us and kept us current on what was happening during this stage of restoration when our home was damaged by water. Cheston and Jason (reconstruction team) were very hardworking, thorough, considerate and clean. They even put up plastic curtains and mats so that dust doesn't spread around. Cheston took the time to explain and answer questions after the job was done too. The job itself was completed well. Lala and Bobby (mitigation team) worked hard as well. While we were happy with the workers, there was a lot of frustration towards the company due to disorganization before they came. The company system seems to lack coordination. This company is disorganized and inefficient. They sent incompetent workers one of whom refused to wear a mask during the height of the pandemic. The reconstruction phase was a COMPLETE disaster. They started in 2019. We have mismatched tiles (see photos), Multicolored cabinets (photos), missing cabinet facings (photos), no knobs, missing hinges, Missing interior door hinges that employees lost, Also missing custom toilet parts that employees lost (also photos) . Three unhung doors because of missing parts, They also took without permission custom glass etched kitchen cabinets (see attached photos), which the never have returned. They claimed the cabinets were thrown away (but the letter they sent us said they were fine and were in their warehouse). Bottom line the cabinets they replaced were the cheapest pressboard melamine that was different colors. No pulls or knobs or resolution still as of 11/22. Our home is now a complete wreck. Included is a picture of the missing kitchen cabinets that were taken from our premises without permission. They don't return calls or requests for missing pieces or reasonable financial resolution. When our home was hit with leaks during the December rainstorm we had, I was devastated. Frantically called one remediation co. who kept promising they were "on their way" but never showed up. The next day, we contacted Premier Restoration and they were there that morning. They immediately set to work and never left until the job was completely done to our satisfaction. I want to particularly recognize Lossi and his crew from the remediation side who identified all the damaged areas, followed by the team from the restoration side who brought my home back to pristine condition. James was reliable and ever willing to attend to all of my requests. Tony showed up like clockwork every morning at 7am and worked hard all day. Brandon was excellent at all the detail work. Mel, Roger, Jason and Gino were all serious about their jobs and proud of their work. We lived with these guys for three weeks and they were unfailingly professional and respectful of our home. In a previous review, someone said that Noah should be Project Manager. I agree. He was very professional, communicative and got the job done to our satisfaction. We are on the bottom floor of a multi-floor leak damage and while the water cannot dry fast enough, Noah kept us up to date and was very thorough. Now we wait for the walls to be repaired, baseboards to be replaced . . . Emmie New, who is the Project Coordinator, on the other hand, doesn't respond to numerous attempts at email, voicemail. I understand the estimates need to be submitted to the association but keep us informed. The drying process was completed last week and still our walls are undone. read more

Customer service was great. I guess they could do a wonderful job but in the end I paid about 800 bucks for no work done. But just because I had a bad experience, doesn't mean you need to too. Make sure you communicate. And do it well. I really didn't know what I needed to do because my apartment flooded and I was in a panic. Actually, we did quite a good job removing and drying ourselves. Because money was an issue, they referred me to a sister company to come look at my apartment. They actually did an amazing assessment and gave me lots of tips. However, because I was going through insurance, they referred me back to Premier. By the time they came to asses, nothing was wet or damaged. They sold me a test. I needed a report on the damages to submit. But I've never received anything but an estimate to replace. Insurance said this wasn't proof of damages. Premier was listed at one time as a Best place to work in Hawaii. They are a local from Maui, expanded to Oahu. As I mentioned, customer service was great. If you're on Oahu and you go visit their office in Mapunapuna, they are in the back of Ohana Cabinets. I do believe they have limited parking. read more

Our condo building had a water leak emergency on March 29, 2021. The source unit responsible for the leak was right above us, and two of our bathrooms were affected. Thank goodness the building manager called Premier Restoration right away, to test moisture and dry the walls for us with their professional equipment. Adam and Noah from Premier took care of our unit over 3 days from March 30 to Apr 1. They were both excellent in customer service and communication with us. A very devastating thing happened to our KITCHEN... FIRE! This was the FIRST EVER home insurance claim we did. No idea what to expect. Our insurance company referred Premier Restoration. I called and spoke to a SWEET girl named Emi (?) she said there were 2 that worked there (this was the gal that answered my phone call & sounded in her 20's, hope that helps distinguish the correct Emi ;). She sent over Jomar Escoiso and Crew - Greg Frink/CJ Benedicto, that SAME DAY- WOOOOW! Jomar informed my husband & I what to except in the next couple of days (I had no clue what they were chosen to do- YES clean, but what & how?). "Jo" as he told us to call him by, was very reassuring that they would clean the area of the black soot & left a big blue machine to clean the air- ASAP!!! He told me, if i had ANY QUESTIONS to contact him! Jo was very accommodating!! He came out on a SUNDAY when our insurance adjuster chose to come by. I know it's probably "his job", BUT when we informed him of the date & time, there was NO HESITATION in his voice to come out on "a beach kine of day" & made sure he was present for this important evaluation - VERY PUNCTUAL (no hawaiian time here). Jo sent his crew- Greg & CJ the following day, Monday. In the next couple days they did their thing! They covered the path from the front door to the kitchen with some kind of board & made a plastic "WALL", so dust & whatever else would be contained! It even had a "DOOR" - for this girl & her daughters that was very impressive! Hehe I had what seemed like many questions for Jo (he did say "contact me")!! Well, Jo answered every one of my texts in a very adequate amount of time. NEVER LEFT ME HANGING! There was something that we thought of AFTER the job was done. Our stove was disposed of & forgot about taking out our wok & other baking pans/cups. I'm sure our insurance company would have replaced them-The wok had sentimental value and my girls love their baking pans/cups- but Jo went to look for our stove & recovered our items!!!! He even offered to dropped them off at our home! Premier Restoration is VERY Fortunate to have Jomar as a employee! Yes, you can TRAIN someone to do their job, BUT Jomar has a little EXTRA within him that cannot be trained! It was a pleasant experience with Jo, Greg & CJ. Of course, Greg & CJ worked very very very hard to clean off the soot & disposed our burned cabinets & melted stove/hood! Unprofessional. Irresponsible. Unreliable. These are the 3 words that describe this company. If you don't want to read my long review, just base your decision off of these 3 words and AVOID THEM. Luckily for us folks on Oahu, we didn't get hit by Hurricane Lane like our neighbor islands did. Definitely counting our blessings for that. We had a little bit of leaking in our ceiling so building management called Premier Restoration for an emergency fix. HUGE MISTAKE. Firstly, they were inflexible with letting us select a day and time for this fix. Fine, it's an emergency. Even though we obviously have jobs, we let it slide and offered to meet them on their choice of day and time. Rearranged meetings, driving schedules, etc. 1ST STRIKE - they arrived almost 4 hours past the scheduled time that THEY picked. Unbelievable! We were livid! They said they wanted us there at a specific time and day without being flexible and we were there. FOUR FREAKING HOURS. Didn't even receive an apology. They put in the fans and humidifier to dry off the ceiling and told us to keep all of our doors and windows closed. Okay got it, will do. It was so hot and our electricity bill shot way up but in order to help the building fix the situation, we'll comply. No problem. They tell us they'll check back every day for the next 3-5 days. Again, they offered no flexibility on what time they could come in to check our place. They said they'll be at our place at 9:30am on the dot every day. Um again, we have jobs? Can you come earlier or later in the day? Fine, we complied once more. 2ND STRIKE - they did NOT show up at 9:30am. We had already taken time off of work. Since this affected 3 floors, I take a peek upstairs and downstairs to see if maybe they were working on someone else's unit. Nope. Not a peep of this company. They didn't show up at 10am and 10:15am breezes by. Nothing. We decide to leave for work because who knows if they'll take 4 hours to arrive again! We left a note on the door instructing them to call when they arrive. The whole day passed and they did not call ONCE. We get home from work around 6pm and guess who's rolling into the building? You guessed it. Premier Restoration. Their excuse for the earlier incident? "The person must not have checked their schedule". WHAT? Please tell me this is a joke! WE WERE FLOORED! Fast forward - days passed by. We finally got the green light to remove the machinery. Thank the lord. It was like we were doing Hot Yoga 24/7. It was so hot! They told us that their company would call us the same day or next day to put the wall coverings back in (they took it off to put machinery into the wall). 3rd STRIKE - These people NEVER called. We have guests coming in a few days and they left our place a WRECK. We finally gave them a few calls and with each call, they said that someone will be calling us back. Nope, nothing yet. Still waiting. In conclusion - unprofessional, irresponsible, unreliable. My next course of action? If these people don't fix my place in the next 3 days, I'm going to the Better Business Bureau. ---- UPDATE (9/12/18) - after NUMEROUS calls to these people (why am I still surprised that I had to keep chasing them for a solution?), they FINALLY called me back and told me they would come and fix the solution. Our property management was kind enough to offer their help so we solved the solution WITHOUT Premier Restoration. My 1-star review still stands for this business. I would give it a negative rating if that was possible. A VERY poor excuse for a "business". read more

Premier took 23 days just to send an estimate to my insurance company when initially promised "5-7 days". Anyone who has had water damage in your home knows the mess and chaos that comes with it. After waiting 3 times as long as promised, they then state the job is too small to make a profit. Wish they would have told me that from the beginning to not waste our time! If you have the option, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are not customer oriented and do not do as promised. 8/27 - We had an unexpected plumbing problem which caused an overflow in our bathroom. We quickly minimized the damage, but water had flowed from the bathroom, through drywall, and into the adjacent bedroom and closet. We removed the damaged flooring and drywall ourselves. 9/1 - Mike, Mitigation Inspector, came out and was very thorough and professional in taking the necessary pictures to document the area. Emily, Coordinator, told us it would take 5-7 business days to get the estimate to our insurance company. 9/9 - Called the Premier because our insurance company had not received the estimate. Emily said it would be in by Friday (in two days) which would be 10 days photos had been taken. I mentioned to her I was worried because I have the same flooring throughout the house. It is currently in stock, but if it takes too long for the estimate and it is gone, I might not be able to get everything. She reassured me saying she will contact the person today. 9/16 - Called Premier to inquire about the estimate. We have bare concrete, no drywall between bathroom and bedroom, our furniture had to be moved into the garage and we need it fixed as soon as possible. I was also worried about getting the same flooring in as we have throughout the house. I was told they would check with the person doing the estimate. 9/17 - Brandon, Estimator, called from Premier with questions regarding the repair needed. 9/24 - UPC received estimate from Premier. It took 23 days after the they came out to take photos to get the estimate to my insurance company. 9/24 - The flooring is no longer available on island. I will need to wait 4-6 weeks to get it in. I called Premier and was told by Kai that my job "is too small for them to profit from and she cannot help me". I asked what was I supposed to do if I can't get the flooring because they took THREE times as long as they said they would to get the estimate to my Insurance company? She repeatedly said, "sorry, we can't help you because we won't profit from a small job". 9/25 - I received a voicemail from Justin, General Manager of Reconstruction Department, stating he heard I was not satisfied with the service provided. When I called back... no answer. I left a voicemail for him to call me back, but have not heard from him. Not surprised since this is consistent with the service received from Premier Restoration. read more

Had a leak from my upstairs bathroom due to a toilet gasket failure which caused a mold spot on my ceiling. Premier came right away to scope out the nature. After identifying the problem I had a plumber come to fix the leak and then Premier came over the next day to start the mitigation. Tim was really quick locate all the spots needing drying and mold mitigation. He brought in the necessary dryers and blowers. He followed up the next day and Kurt came over to complete the mitigation and remove the equipment. They were very fast, clean, and professional in all they did.
