Crappy work. Damaged screen and SIM card after only 30 days. Awful. Not recommended.

Overpriced, rude, and incompetent. After using these guys for multiple repairs I have discovered they are overcharging $50-200 for various repairs over other more reputable shops in town. The last straw was taking advantage of my 19 year old and doing a half assed iPhone repair. The phone literally fell apart after only 30 days of use and now we're taking it to another shop since "Alex" said that they'll fix the phone but did not offer a refund on their overpriced work and if there was any incidental damage we would have to pay MORE. Buyer beware. A few weeks ago, I inquired about buying a used iPad and was told they had one for $499 (it was 3 generations old!) You can buy the same model today Apple refurbished for $299. Scammers.

I was told they would check for software issues first, and if no software issues, they would check the screen itself and switch it out. I paid $130 upfront for the screen replacement and was told I would be refunded if it is a software issue. I was later told it was not a software issue. The repair took about an hour. I took the phone home only to find out that the touchscreen was only partially working. I could scroll, but after 30 seconds or so, the screen would freeze again. What I realized is that they never asked for the password so they could test the screen to make sure it was fully working. I called CPR and was told the screen is under warranty and I should bring it back in. I was also told that the component that controls the touchscreen could be damaged and in that case, there's not a way to replace that. I was a bit frustrated as this should have been explained to me when I first dropped off the phone. They were booked for the rest of the day and said they would have time the next day. The next morning, I made an appointment, took the phone in, and was helped immediately. About an hour and a half later, I had the phone back. I checked to ensure it was working before I left and it appeared the touchscreen was fully working. I was again told that if the screen isn't working, to bring it back in and they would take another look at it. Overall, my experience was pretty positive. My only constructive feedback is that they should fully explain things before the service/repairs start.

Quite possibly the worst experience I've had with a business at any point of my 33 years on this…read moreearth. My partner dropped my phone off on a Friday - they requested $370 up front. This was supposedly to fix the back glass and screen that had broken after tripping with my phone in my hand. Had I been there myself, I probably would've laughed on my way out the door, as at this point my 2 year old iPhone could probably be replaced for that much or less. But unfortunately I had no phone, and so she made the decision to move forward with this transaction. They told me they would overnight the parts and hopefully have the phone fixed by early the following week. Tuesday the following week they called to inform me that the antenna had been damaged and they were unsure of whether or not they could fix the phone, but that they'd get back to me within a couple of days when they had more information. After not receiving a call, I decided to call myself that Friday to figure out what they were doing with my phone and $370 for the past week. I was told that the phone was being sent to a micro-soldering technician to have the antenna repaired and that the phone would hopefully be ready by the following Tuesday or Wednesday. Once again, Tues and Weds came and went, and I heard nothing from CPR about the status of my phone. On that Thursday, roughly 2 weeks after coughing up $370 and my phone, I called again and was transferred to the owner of the business. Aj, the owner, basically gave me an ultimatum by saying I could either wait an indeterminate amount of time for them to try and track down the parts required to fix the phone, in addition to actually fixing it. Or, I could come pick the phone up and have the "majority" of my money refunded - which turned out to be $200, or about 59% of the $370 I paid up front. This business charged me $170 to lie, mislead, and miscommunicate what was actually being done with my phone and my money. They literally handed me back my phone in the same condition it was in 2 weeks before I brought it in, charged me $170, and apologized for their incredibly poor communication throughout the process. Zero consideration for the time and money I lost tying up my $370 and having no phone for the 2 weeks they had it. I'm now out $170, in addition to having to buy a new phone. If I could back charge this I absolutely would, and will likely contact my bank and whoever else I can to see what I can do to dispute this.

After waiting for 10 minutes for "Justin", he came out from the back and asked how he could help. I explained that I did not know what was wrong with my phone but it was "broken" and I had insurance. He proceeds to tell me that I would need to call my insurance and open a claim (how am I supposed to call when my phone is broken??). That or buy a new phone. He warned that either way - my rate would go way up because he'd never seen a plan so low. "Not for 6 or 7 years" even though his name badge said he only started there in 2025 (this year!). He was of ZERO help. He offered no suggestions other than buying a new phone. He said he could not help with the insurance. A lie - because my parents have T-mobile and I have brought their phones into that exact store and they filled out the insurance right there for us. I asked if he could take a look and maybe figure out what was wrong with my phone. He just looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language - and did nothing. Frustrated, I said I would go to my neighborhood T-mobile store (this one is on my way home from work and I was pressed for time). Wouldn't you know - I went to my store, on SE 122nd and Amy B, did a hard re-set while I was explaining what happened and my phone was back up and working perfectly within one minute. LITERALLY 1 minute!! This is the difference because a zero star customer service rep and a 10 star customer service rep. Boo on Justin and Yay for Amy B!
