This is a great store. I needed my hard drive removed due to me being unable to remove the screw. I was able to come, have it removed for $20.0. For comparison, best buy charged 100, and other places I called charged 80 or more. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend this place

Solid reputable service. Fair prices and small business personal attention. I'll continue to go back as long as this owner is in business.

Malik was extremely helpful today and as I am leaving his shop I felt the need to voice to text this review as I'm driving.

Update: I was not contacted by the owner, and I have texts from the business refusing to refund the…read moreservice. They originally offered to refund the labor only or replace the part again, but after two failed installs, that wasn't a good resolution plan. I was able to get an approved dispute with my credit card company and was fully refunded. A reply to my review making it look like there was an attempt to refund me isn't transparent. Again, sometimes it's best to measure a business on what happens when something goes wrong, not just when everything goes right. A true measure of a business is how they handle things when things go wrong. I want to start by saying the actual service experience was good. Fast turnaround, friendly staff, and when my first screen replacement had dying pixels, they replaced it under warranty without any pushback. That part of the experience deserves credit. However, the second replacement screen was also defective. Graininess in low light, visible dark spots, and the screen would go completely black during phone calls. At that point I asked for a refund rather than a third installation, since I'd already spent enough time and didn't want to gamble again on the same part. This is where I think the real test of a business happens. Anyone can deliver good service when everything goes smoothly. What matters more is what happens when it doesn't. I had an independent diagnosis from Apple confirming the display issue, and the shop initially agreed to a refund on the condition that I return the old screen. The problem was that Apple, who repaired the phone separately, retains all replaced parts as their own property and doesn't return them to customers, a policy I confirmed directly and documented for the shop. In the end, the shop declined to issue a full refund and only offered a partial refund for labor, even though the part itself was the source of the defect, not the installation. I came into this wanting to be fair, and I gave the business multiple chances to resolve it. I think it's reasonable to expect a full refund when a product fails twice, especially when returning the part wasn't even possible due to circumstances outside my control. I'd recommend this shop for routine repairs based on their speed and friendliness, but be aware of how they handle things if something doesn't go as planned. They would reference that they work with the local Apple Store, but I spoke with the Apple Store and they have several customers come in after poor third party replacements and service.

They took it back to be looked at, and handed it back a few hours later and told me it was fixed. If it happened again, they would send it off to their Arlington store for replacement. Great! 7 days later, same thing happens... So when I take it back the second time they said that there was damage to the LCD connector on the motherboard. It was lifting off the board, hence the unresponsiveness. This hadn't been mentioned to me the first 2 times being seen here.. So obviously I was confused. The only time this part is touched is during screen replacement. They said the phone was brought in with this damage. I broke my screen in October of 2016. I had it replaced May of 2017. Worked great with broken screen for 6 months.  They claim the damage is from the then - but not symptomatic until a few weeks after screen replacement? ...Doubtful. I certainly haven't cracked open the phone and messed with the LCD connector on the motherboard. Only one person did. You do the math.  I brought this up, but they refused to acknowledge they caused the problem and fix in accordance with their workmanship warranty. They offered to fix the damage they caused for $180. No thanks! I asked for documentation saying this damage was pre-existing. It should have been caught in a screen replacement and documented. One guy told us they had documentation claiming the damage was there at original drop-off but then recanted when we pressed for it. Now I'm stuck getting a new phone, right before a release of the phone I've been waiting for. You may save a few bucks up front here but it costs more in the long run.

Two of the five pads were also removed in the process. I reached out to a few businesses on Yelp to see if anyone can solder a new battery connector and the amount of people who tried to highball me was ridiculous. They tried to charge me the cost of a whole new motherboard. Gale, from GB Wireless, responded to me with a decent price so I drove over there the next morning they were open. Since it wasn't just a solder service but also him having to figure out where the ripped pads lead, I had to pay a little more but it was worth it. Gale was very friendly and was great at explaining what he would need to do. He gave me the estimate and said it would be ready the next day. A few hours later, I get a call saying he was able to fix it and my Switch is working perfectly. I appreciate service like this. As the customer, it just feels like they go above and beyond. Now I know where to go the next time I destroy something!

The owner told me to come in the next day when they open at 10am doe my best chance at same day repair. Said that it was likely a need for me to replace the whole frame or whatever the port is connected to. I took it in and he took a quick look and said it was likely it just needed a little cleaning, no need to replace any part and that it could be done in 15 mins. My jaw dropped. I was so glad I didn't go to a mall kiosk because the last time this happened I had to pay nearly $200 to get a whole part replaced. I'm a happy customer and would come back here for any future phone repair needs!
