My nephew (a 9 year old) only wanted one thing for Christmas, for his Nintendo Switch to be repaired - it would no longer turn on or charge!! We had no idea what happened but this shop was able to fix it the day I dropped it off, though he made no promises as he had several other orders to fill. Not only did he stay late, last closing hours, to fix my nephews Nintendo but he allowed me to come pick it up that evening so that my nephew could receive his "gift" in time for Christmas. 10/10 Customer service and human kindness! A wonderful, wonderful local hardware shop. I was blown away by their impression collection of gaming paraphernalia, including some of the rarest and most interesting pieces I've seen. I received attentive service and a wonderful conversation from an employee wearing a terrific Hisoka shirt and bought two GBA Pokémon games and a DS lite to play them with. Prices here are very reasonable compared to other aftermarket sellers and eBay, and each item in the store is clearly handled with care and attention. I found this business via Yelp and was impressed with the $75 replacement price, the friendly demeanor of David and the short time it took it replace the glass on my phone. I was SUPER happy he was open on a Saturday also :) I watched while he fixed my shattered screen and was instantly glad that I hadn't attempted it myself. Very responsive and down to earth owner and staff. Has a retro feel when you walk in (like a museum of things to buy for us older people), but they fix just about any decade of electronics. They have personally fixed my son's elite xbox controller and revived an older xbox for us within 1-2 days. Fucking amazing little GEM! Called looking for a Game Gear and everywhere else was a bust! Never heard of this place, but the guy on the phone was super nice and knowledgeable. He said they restore them and it was for a good price. It was a fun hang put place when I walked in as they we're in the middle of a Smash Brothers tournament and staying open late. I really wanted the gray color Game Gear but it wasn't in as good condition so he sold me the blue one for that and honored that price and said if he fixes the other one that he could swap down the line which is awesome! I will definitely tell more friends about this place and head over again soon. I recommend everyone go here instead of stupid GameStop. Update he called and I got to swap game gears at no charge! I've only known about this place for a few months and I regret not finding it sooner. They buy and sell games and consoles from all generations and they also carry the necessary equipment to play your retro systems on modern televisions. I've been a frequent customer of them for the past few months and I try to stop in every week because they're always getting cool stuff traded in. I've been lucky to find several older generation Pokemon games as well as some hard to find DS and PlayStation games. They know how to look out for counterfit games so you can be assured you're getting a legit copy of that rare game you were looking for. They also do mods for your consoles and handhelds. I took my Switch and Gameboy Advance in to get new shells and service was fairly priced and quick. My friend took his Vita in to get a replacement thumb stick and while they didn't have the part in stock for his model they got one ordered and got his Vita fixed quickly. Lastly and most importantly the owner David and his employee Mike are genuine people and are amazing. They're not the pushy sales type at other stores but are super friendly and make every effort to be welcoming and helpful to anyone that walks in. They make the store a place where you can hang out and have a good time talking about games or playing them in store for a small charge as well as the weekly tournaments they host. read more

This place is right in my neighborhood. It offers very fast service, same day actually. They fixed the HDMI port on my PS4 when another shop. (ubreak ifix) said they could not do it and it took them 4 days to tell me that. The prices was cheaper and actually knew what they were doing unlike the other place. I have an old Samsung Galaxy s6 (yeah I know it's old) and the screen went dead from a drop on the concrete. I asked David for a quote on how much it would cost to repair the screen and replace my old battery (I had to charge my phone several times a day) so I can determine if I should repair it or just buy a new phone. David promptly responded that he could get a quote, but it would most likely be cheaper to buy a used phone for the price. I appreciate David's honesty in helping me decide what to do. It would be nice if he sold devices, but you can't do everything. I ultimately got a prepaid cell phone while I wait for the Galaxy S10. If I do have any issues with my electronics or computers I will surely check out Computer Booter in the future. Our Nintendo switch wasn't charging. I gave David a call. He told me some possible reasons and how much it would cost to fix. The estimate compared favorably to a few other places I called, so I brought it in. David said he would take a look at it and give me a call and tell me how much it would be to fix it. But also that it might be a problem that he couldn't fix. I bought a few old PS 2 games that my kids picked out. They had a ton of different games and they were inexpensive. As we were driving home David gave me a call and said he had fixed it. When we got to the store, he said it was a simple fix that we had overlooked and showed us what to do if it happened again. I needed my DJI RC Remote repaired and every single RC place I called either heard the DJI name and said sorry we don't work on DJI products or wanted to charge me 50$ just to look at my remote. I went and talked to David and he actually listened to my problem and gave me his honest opinion. Hes not a drone guy and he didn't see it that way. it was a antenna wire that just need to be attached. So after some research he disassembled my RC Remote and repaired the microscopic wire. I came in with a broken screen on my MacBook Pro, and they fixed it for almost $200 less than the mac store was going to charge me, AND they did it in two business days instead of two weeks they said at the Mac store. Then, when it seemed like there was a problem with the repair (there wasn't a problem, just an I'll-timed software update that caused my screen to flicker), I just walked it back in and they sorted it out on the spot without a charge. I took my hot tub control board to David thinking while it may not be his typical fix, it's just another control board. The original relay's on the board were dead and poor quality anyways. Within an hour David had sourced and ordered replacement, quality Panasonic relay's and less than a week later the board had the hot tub back up and running, good as new. Fast turnaround, clean fix, and saved me hundred's vs. buying a replacement board that would have had the same junk relay's. Can't ask for more than that, easy 5 star review. Also, the store is worth the visit alone...quite a trip down gaming memory lane with every console and part you can think of, and not one but dozen's of everything you could need. Can't recommend this place enough! Took my PlayStation 4 in for an hdmi replacement, David had it done the same day (which was unexpected but very welcomed!) for the exact quoted price. He was very friendly and attentive, even recommending another game to try based on what I told him I was currently playing. It was a great recommendation, by the way. The shop is very cool too, legit feels like you're walking into your friends living room. There are tons of retro games here, and I plan on coming back soon to browse. I had a really amazing experience. The owner David and his employee Armondo, where extreamly helpful, respectful and honest. I dropped my Step-sons PS4 off to have the HDMI port fixed and not only was David able to replace the port for a reasonable price he was extreamly delicate and handled the console like it was his own. David was able to repair/replace the port just under an hour (Other products may vary in time due to how busy they can be). David has years of experience and knowledge when it comes to handling and repairing all sorts of consoles and electronics.
