Overall a cute place to meet up for coffee. Seemed pretty understaffed but it also wasn't super busy so I get it, drinks still came out pretty quickly. Pastry was good and fresh and coffee was just okay. I'd come back here cause it was cute but the coffee was pretty pricey for being pretty mid. Adorable concept. Also it's located inside isla Del Mar so just walk in and you'll find it!

If you're looking for a bold take on coffee, this is the spot! When I was in San Francisco we have cafecito, and I have been looking for this in Omaha. I also lived above a mercado in The Mission, and these are as close as I've come to those pastries. Everyone is super helpful navigating the menu, and it's affordably priced with plenty of space to enjoy.

We ate at Isla Del Mar Restaurante in the past and just wanted to peek at the new place where Con Azur Cafe is enclosed. Strip mall parking. He grabbed a beer at the convenient bar located outside the dining room while I headed to Con Azucar with the intent of trying the Abuelita hot chocolate on a chilly day. I was offered a sample of a Mexican coffee with cinnamon and brown sugar. It was delicious. Not a big coffee drinker but would return for it. The hot chocolate was topped with whipped cream and had a dark chocolate flavor. Maybe a lil sweet so might avoid the cream next time. That's unheard of to some. Service was outstanding. Oh, bought a slice of tres leches cake but haven't tasted it yet. Very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

This cafe was a great concept - beautiful space, great vibes. They some typical Mexican baked goods like concha and some riffs of classics like concha muffins. I love their flavored lattes: horchata, Mexican cocoa, marzipan, etc. The lattes were okay - the espresso wasn't very strong. What was absolutely delicious was their ham and cheese sandwich - bursting with flavor and a portion bug enough for 2 people to share.

Came here late at night, which I was surprised they were still open that late and got the champorado latte, roasted marshmallow latte, the chilaquiles (ours wasn't as spicy as we expected), concha cupcake, and a Fresca (strawberry) tres leches. The food was good, but this place was packed, we had a table, but no chairs. If you go, maybe be ready to take it to go, which is a shame because this place is so insta-worthy with all their colors, a floral ceiling, a swing, and your pastry in a mini bicycle basket when you eat in.

Nice location, cute decoration. CONCHITA MINI $1.00 Great flavor, cute , little design, colorful and appetizing. It is not a fluffy texture is more dense which is great the flavor is vanilaish.Great concha PAN DE ELOTE $3.00 no elote flavors what so ever, bread was very dry. MEDIUM 16OZ ICED DULCE DE LECHE $6.50 full of flavor very creamy, great coffe, not overly sweet. Would order again. MEDIUM 12OZ HOT MAZAPAN LATTE $6.50 No MAZAPAN FLAVOR. Again great coffee, very smooth and creamy. The froth is great. The sweetness is a little like cane sugar. Not bad but definitely not Mazapan. Over this place is a 6.5 out 10 Service was nice. I really like the touch of serving your bread in the little bike with the basket very original. In my own personal opinion a coffee shop should serve you in mugs and glassware if you are going to enjoy the drink in the location. So for me the to go cups are a minus. The atmosphere is a bit loud as the palateria had loud music and blinking lights. And you also get the music from the restaurant. So if you are looking for a cute quiet place this is not it.

Great coffee, service, and atmosphere. Only complaint is that there's not more of these locations.

Love the downtown location!! Love the café de olla and the chocolate abuelita!! I haven't tried some of their bites yet except for a pastry but will definitely try some more things soon! Nice ambiance with all of the decorations and balloons and colors! Service was nice too as they were friendly and kind. Will be back!

They only offered one herbal option (lavender mint) but unfortunately I could only taste the mint and didn't notice any lavender. They did have other caffeine-free drinks available, but I was looking for something unsweetened and low in sugar. The space was also different than I expected. Based on the name, I imagined a cozy, relaxing atmosphere with comfortable lounge seating. Instead, the décor felt a bit mismatched, almost like the café had expanded over time and the two sides were decorated very differently. That said, one thing they absolutely got right was the amount of seating. There were plenty of tables and space to work, study, or catch up with a friend without feeling crowded. The biggest downside was the cleanliness. The bathroom didn't feel clean, there were stains on the floors, chipped paint and damaged walls, crumbs around the couches and on some of the chairs, and the dish return bins were noticeably dirty inside. I stayed for about 90 minutes, and during that time I didn't see any cleaning happening, even though there were several areas that clearly needed attention. None of these issues alone would have been a dealbreaker, but together they made the café feel neglected and took away from what otherwise could have been a much more enjoyable experience.

Their food is very pricey, even for a coffee shop, and I didn't love the breakfast tacos. My boyfriend enjoyed his breakfast sandwich, so I would probably try something from their large variety of sandwiches. However, the coffee made this visit worth it. The location on 204th Street in Gretna is clean, open, inviting ... but noisy. It's one of those warehouse-type settings where you really have to work at having a private conversation. Seating is expecially comfortable in the big chairs, but then you have to schootch them close together and lean in so you can hear each other, which is unfortunate. Granted, tables are set far apart, but this should be in addition to. Coffee was delicious, but the beignet bites were just so-so. Granted, one should not expect New Orleans beignets outside of New Orleans, but these little donut puffs had only a light dusting of powdered sugar (which I actually was thankful for because I wore black pants!), and there was a not-overly-pleasant surprise inside with an indistinguishable creamy substance that was sort of like the inside of a brown sugar cinnamon poptart, only less so. I hadn't been expecting that. The yogurt parfait was substantial and delicious. (The staff was friendly and helpful when making selections, but it didn't occur to me to ask about fillings.) The flavors are supposed to mimic the Sonic flavors, but they're kinda bland/flat. I was really looking forward to the coconut flavor of the ocean water, but it wasn't strongly present; neither was the blue raspberry flavor. The cherry limeade presented both cherry and lime flavors, but they were weak/watery, and left a chemically taste in the mouth afterward. Both drinks had the overly strong taste and mouthfeel of artificial sweetener, with that bitter flavor at the end, too. I think the fizz is produced by chemical reaction rather than actual carbonated water, though, because the ocean water wasn't very fizzy and the drink was chalky, just like the magnesium powder you can add to regular water does. It tasted like that, too, in fact--more like the citrus flavor of a magnesium citrate supplement drink mix than the coconut-blue raspberry of a Sonic ocean water. The peanut butter protein balls were pretty good for a mid-day snack, though: you can taste the protein powder, peanut butter, and honey. Not bad. The mini Reese's Pieces were a little treat on top.
