I went here first thing in the morning. It was a short walk from my Airbnb! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Calm and inviting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Great menu and the food I ordered was good. The waitress was nice and attentive (:

We were looking for a place to eat near SoFi Stadium that wasn't overly priced and was popular with locals, and Con Huevos Cafe kept coming up--so we decided to try it, and we're so glad we did. The location is very convenient, especially if you're heading to or from the stadium. Despite it being a busy weekend, we were impressed with how quickly we were seated. The service was efficient and welcoming from the start. I ordered the Mole Chilaquiles, which had the perfect balance of sweetness with a nice kick of spice--I absolutely loved them. We also shared the Gorditas de Chicharrón, which were delicious, slightly spicy, and came with a side of salsa. My boyfriend says those were his favorite dish. He also ordered the Norteño Eggs and was really impressed. The chorizo added a great twist, and we appreciated that they used pieces of queso fresco instead of just shredding it on top--it made the dish feel more authentic and thoughtfully prepared. Overall, a great spot with amazing food, fair prices, and a convenient location. We'd definitely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting the area

Went here for brunch and enjoyed it very much. The food was delicious. I had the Vuelve A La Vide plate (with added steak) which had everything I wanted and more. It was so flavorable and cooked exactly how I wanted. My boyfriend had Chilaquiles. He thought they were pretty good but could've been spicier! The green sauce on top had a little too much lime as well. Horchata came in a small glass for the price but very tasty. For being lunch hour, the service was a little slow, I think the waitresses need a hostess seating people to take the pressure off of the orders. Overall, I would definitely recommend and will be coming here again!

Cafe de olla = piloncillo heaven! The chilaquiles with salsa verde hit all the right notes--bright, tangy, and comforting. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was packed for breakfast (parking is limited),[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and service felt slow since online orders were flying out first. Still, the food was worth the wait, and I'll definitely be back!

chilaquiles verdes with scramble eggs, and iced coffee

We ordered 2 types of the chilaquiles red and green the green one came out dry Server had ask if we wanted natural orange juice or jug orange juice and we had ordered and paid for natural orange juice and it tastes it mixed with orange juice from jug and pulp from the orange natural juice".we tried the "iced coffee she offered us de la holla" or regular coffee and we said regular coffee and basically is coffee with ice no flavor, and they bring you the creamer it taste disgusting, it's only one server so she gets busy and plain she doesn't smile [[HIGHLIGHT]]the place looks clean spacious.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Really enjoyed my breakfast here! [[HIGHLIGHT]]As soon as we walked in, I noticed the awesome ambiance from the huge tv screen on the wall, the colorful papel picado hanging from the ceiling, and the neon signs lit up on the walls.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It was pretty busy but we put our names on the list and got seated within 5 minutes. Our waiter gave us a heads up that they had a few large groups that morning. He actually let us know that he put in our order before theirs just so the kitchen can knock ours out real quick first. Thought that was really cool of them to do. I saw the chilaquiles torta on the menu and had to try it. It was pretty spicy but was so good. I also ordered an iced cafe de la olla which wasn't bad. Honestly, I wish I had ordered more just to try other things on the menu but the portion sizes were already good. I'll definitely be coming back!

This is my second time coming here. The service is good and fast. The food is good, we got chilaquiles Rojos, Sopes de Carne Asada, and Chicken Enchiladas. Everything was good. We also got two Cafe De Olla, they were pretty sweet. My mom got a Regular Coffee. The ambience is very cute, it's decorated with a lot of Mexican decor and the music is good.

Come early Friday morning and it was pretty empty. The chilaquiles were good. The chips I wish were fresher but they were still good. The green sauce I wish I could have taken home. Literally ordered food and 5 minutes later it came. The mimosas were good and they had a lot of flavors!! $7.5 is not bad.

We went here for a work breakfast. Parking was super easy at 8 am on a Friday which isn't the case in LA, so I already knew the vibes were good going in. The restaurant was large and empty (we got there super early) but the decor felt warm and inviting, although a bit mix matched. We ordered an assortment of plates, and I got the chilaquiles torta. My dish was the last to arrive at our table of seven, because they apparently make the bread from scratch? I don't know, but the food coming 10-15 mins later than the rest of my team was kinda awkward Anywho, the food was okay. Not the best chilaquiles I've had, but the bread was definitely the best part of my meal. Service was.... slow, but I'm sure running the front alone is tough!

A Hidden Gem Near LAX! I stopped in for brunch the food was delicious and flavorful. The prices were more than fair for the quality. I had the Divorced eggs, and it hit the spot perfectly. Service was equally impressive friendly, attentive, and fast, even during the morning rush. You can tell the staff really cares about your experience. Overall, a fantastic spot I'll definitely return to whenever I'm near LAX. Highly recommended!

We were staying near LAX and I didn't want to drive too far, so we stumbled upon this Mexican spot in the cutest little downtown area ever. El Segundo, you are THAT b*tch! We arrived around 5:30 on a Saturday and were seated immediately (thank goodness). Our server was super duper friendly and even had multiple conversations with us throughout the meal, sharing anecdotes and talking to my tattoo artist friend about getting a tat from her LOL. We quickly ordered some chips and queso (not free) and were blown away by how creamy and tasty the queso was. The tortas were also delicious and easy to scoop a lot of cheese on to. On to the menu, they had a good variety of Mexican dishes, but the price point, man. I thought $4-5 a taco at Barrio Queen in Arizona was steep, but this place charged $7-8 for a single small taco. I would've been okay with any menu item since it's Mexican and nothing under that cuisine could be bad, but seeing each enchilada over $30, made me steer clear of the main entree dishes. I also knew I wanted to try fish tacos, so I just opted for one fish taco and one grilled taco, with a side of mashed black beans. Crazy that some black beans also were at least $5. The fish taco was nicely battered and the guacamole was ripe and creamy, but the grilled chicken taco was nothing spectacular. There was also cauliflower tacos and beef brisket tacos ordered among us. My friend who ordered the beef brisket taco rated it 7.5/10, whereas the cauliflower tacos were rated 9/10. The food also took at least 20 minutes to arrive at the table. Both sauces my tacos came with were extremely spicy so I didn't even touch those. My friends enjoyed their meals, and the side of green rice two of them got was rather tasty. Overall, our server was the best part of the experience. She really ate DOWN, whereas our food and the price point did not.

Taco Tuesday is always packed, but the staff does an impressive job keeping things moving. The process is simple--you get your ticket and the team serving the tacos does most of the heavy lifting. Even with the crowds, service has consistently been fast, efficient, and attentive. The food is very good, and the energy is always lively. My most recent visit was no different. Everything ran smoothly, the tacos were great, and our servers stayed on top of things throughout the meal. The only odd part of the evening happened as we were getting ready to leave. I stopped by the bar and asked the bartender for a cup of ice. He acknowledged me but never came back with it. While I was waiting, another guest next to me mentioned he was also having trouble getting service at the bar, while other customers appeared to be getting helped. I don't know the circumstances and don't want to make assumptions about why that happened, but it definitely felt strange. After waiting several minutes, I went back to my original server and she had the ice for me in about a minute, which reinforced my overall impression that the service team is generally very attentive. I don't like pretentious bartenders and I know their job is busy as heck. That again felt weird. Despite that one awkward interaction, the overall experience was excellent. Great tacos, a fun atmosphere, and a staff that usually does a fantastic job handling the Taco Tuesday rush. I'll definitely be back.

The decor and ambiance make it a great place for celebrating a special occasion. I made reservations for my birthday dinner with a party of eight. I brought my own cake, and the staff was kind enough to store it in their refrigerator until we were ready for dessert, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the service was where the experience fell apart. Since gratuity is automatically added for larger parties, it felt like there was very little sense of urgency or attentiveness throughout the evening. It took quite a while for our drink orders to be taken and served. Our food also came out at different times, with some side dishes arriving well after the entrées had already been served. The only explanation we received came later when a supervisor personally brought out the missing sides and apologized, explaining there had been a delay because they had to prepare a fresh batch of rice. While I appreciated the communication, it would have been helpful if someone had updated us sooner. During the meal, our server was changed, and we hoped the service would improve, but unfortunately, the experience remained the same. The food and drinks were beautifully presented, but the flavors didn't quite live up to how impressive everything looked. My rating is based primarily on the food, but if I were rating the service alone, it would be one star. Considering it was a Sunday and the restaurant wasn't particularly busy, the slow service was especially disappointing. Sadly, this wasn't the birthday dinner experience I was hoping for, and I don't plan on returning.

When that question comes up, one of my absolute favorite Mexican cuisine spots to recommend is Javier's. It's one of those places that consistently delivers a great experience every time I go. The ambience at Javier's is perfect whether you're planning a date night or just an evening out with your family. It has a warm, welcoming vibe that makes you want to sit back and enjoy your time there. On top of that, the drinks always hit the spot and pair really well with the food, making the whole dining experience feel complete and well thought out. My go-to dish has to be the seafood enchiladas. You really can't go wrong with any of the options, but those stand out every time. The texture of the enchiladas is spot on, and the salsa complements the dish perfectly without overpowering it. Every bite feels balanced and flavorful, and it's one of those meals you find yourself craving again soon after. I also always make sure to grab the guacamole because, honestly, who doesn't love chips and guac? What I really appreciate is that this guac is different from the typical versions you find elsewhere--it has a freshness and flavor that really sets it apart. It's simple, but done at a high level, and it pairs perfectly with everything else on the table. The service at Javier's is always high-quality, and that's a big reason I keep coming back. The staff is attentive, friendly, and makes the whole experience even better. We were greeted and seated. Our waiter Armando, took our drink, appetizers and entre orders. We were eating our appetizers ceviche and guacamole that I ended up eating with a fork because we'd run out of chips we were waiting so long. Armando returned to our table and asked if we're ready to order? We explained we'd already ordered. He left and we waited. My husband had to flag him down and he'd still forgotten to put our order in. So not once, but TWICE our order was mishandled. My husband is a gentleman and did not want me to express my frustration. By this point we'd waited so long the lunch shift turned into dinner staff (literally) and our table was handed over. The new waiter apologized profusely for the error. They brought out my plate, steak picado and ate my meal alone while my husband and friend waited. I noticed the table next to us was having an issue and the table in front of us was having an issue with their orders. Our complete order finally arrives and my husband and friend's enchiladas are tough to eat. We ask for the check, The waiter was embarrassed to tell us all checks over $200 automatically add I believe add 20% gratuity (it may be higher). Understand we always tip well, but they should've considered the experience we'd just had. Last thing and the ultimate reason for leaving this review in hopes someone in management watches the many many many visually clear cameras in their beautiful establishment. Before we left I veered to.the restroom. I did not know where the restroom was located so I asked our waiter and he said down that way and to the right As I was walking past a table, a very large size man says to me in a very rude voice "can I help you?" I realized they were having maybe a management meeting of two men and one woman. I am not sure who he thought he was talking to or why he took that tone with me, but there is no excuse and I was completely taken back. I asked for the restroom and he pointed towards the other side. This is NOT hospitality or how to treat a guest in your establishment regardless of the day he was having. He needs to learn etiquette. At some point when things are going so badly with customers one of the waiters should've addressed it to the manager. There is a very clear lack of communication and operational problems and the staff was frustrated with each other. Not everyone is there just for drinks. Our waiter continuously served drinks at the bar instead of tending to his tables. Including parking we spent over $300 on a casual lunch for 3 with no alcohol that was simply horrendous. Just to be clear it is not about the amount of money. It's about our time and experience.
