Came to watch the World Cup! Great sport bar vibe in a sit down restaurant. Outside looks closed but it was definitely crowded inside. The food and drinks were great , came out fast, and they didn't rush us to finish. I'd def return to try other menu items and for that big green tv!

This was our first and last time at this place, the food was horrible cold, flavorless, sad and the fajitas had a couple of pasta, lolol the service was good, out server was sweet and attentive, the ambiance is very loud. not a good experience here,

Super cute spot in Culver City! Bad Bunny playing, delicious tacos, and yummy margaritas... what more can you ask for? The space is large, vibrant, and totally Instagram-worthy, perfect for birthdays, group dinners, or even a company buyout. Service was a bit wonky at first since they use team service and didn't explain it, so we were confused when multiple servers came by. But overall, such a fun vibe, plus parking right out front is a huge win!

Came for TACO TUESDAY June 30th. I find they are NOT doing that today. My service was slow, not a lot of customers at the time I was there. I stared at my.at the bar another person had to bring it to me. It doesn't take long to cook Mexican food, most of the food is cooked and prep'd ahead of time. My 2nd time visiting this location. The 1st time I brought my husband. You only get 1 time to make a first impression. . Add to add. I ordered a shrimp taco by itself, with a enchilada plate. She brought my taco only and my husband's food. I had to WAIT for my plate. It came by the time he was almost finished with HIS FOOD. Doubt if I will back to this location again. . I think my servers name was Alma. Can't remember. Nice lady, but I saw the other servers more than her.

While the vibe and ambiance were very very good, the food was about 3 stars. Outside of the tacos. The service was good, a couple miscommunications but I can blame that on the value of the music. The drinks were bussin fr. Me and my friends ordered multiple tacos, and nachos of different fashions, can't lie that shrimp taco was the best thing. Didn't particularly like the quesadilla, the veggies weren't like, 'cooked'. Would go back for the tacos though.

Love the staff at this location I only wish they had more vegan options. But the atmosphere is fun, my husband's drink was tasty and strong, my wine was perfect and the chips, salsa and guac were fresh and delicious. Actually, our first basket of chips tasted a bit stale, which we mentioned to our server and she went back and got a fresh batch which were so light and crispy. The best service here and we'll definitely be headed back very soon. Parking was easy right in the lot

Kalaveras is an awesome Hispanic food spot and we went to the one specifically in the marina. They played great music and has tons of seating and our waiter was awesome. We went on taco Tuesday because they have great deals on tacos. It's all you can eat and it's two dollars taco which is a great deal. The tacos are a great size and if you go during happy hour, you could even get discounted drinks. So I'll start with the standouts on food the Pollo taco and the El Pastore were the two standouts. The juice, the flavor, the tenderness the consistency of the pastor made it my favorite. It was so delicious and so fresh highly enjoyed highly recommend and the Pollo the chicken was nice juicy fresh And had great texture. Very enjoyable was surprised that I liked it more than the Carne Asada. The Carne Asada was good, but I'm a big ass guy so my expectations when it comes to are really high, but it was good juicy tender. It did feel like it was missing something I couldn't tell you what it was, but it definitely felt like it was missing a tad bit of something. The Carnitas was delicious. I enjoyed it a lot. This is always a safe choice to go with because it's very easy to do this and it was good consistent. Nice texture a good flavor. It just wasn't a stand out. I still recommend trying. Maybe you'll have a different opinion, but it was good. And the margarita was delicious as well. I got the mango and Chamoy margarita.Ask for a side of the liquid one not the powder it's homemade in house is what the waiter told me and it is delicious. It's addicting and you can eat a cup of it all by itself, no drink necessary. Overall, a great experience. I will be the group of Friend) and I will definitely be back for another talk Tuesday.

Came here to celebrate a birthday for an early weekend dinner. Didn't know what to expect but left satisfied. Once you walk in you're greeted by a lovely flower ceiling and a flowed up wings panel that's fun to take pics in front of. We had reservations so we were seated right away in a preferred booth area where a pretty flowered wall invited us to stay awhile. Nice vibes overall inside. We shared the guac and aguachiles app with plenty o' chips. Nothing super special about the chips per se but the apps were delish. Drinks are so so all around. In general we all agreed that they were all short on the alcohol part. Everyone loved their entrees. Pics taken of the quesobirria tacos were served up with a tiny cup of the leftover delish braised beef sauce to pour into if ya needed more. Loved that option!! Would get this again!!Friend liked her carnitas and braised beef tacos that you can mix and match with other meats and have them with flour tortilla vs the corn. Friends who had the salmon, burrito and molcajate entrees said they would get it again, especially the molcajate dish that hit the right spot she said. Craving satisfied! Birthdays are cranked up a notch with the right amount of "flair"! Ice cream with strawberry sauce was yummmm. Overall will be back. Maybe the next time for brunch or happy hour!! There are TVs but not a place to come to catch a game probably. Great spaces to reserve for a little special party it looks like. There was an engagement or wedding party that wrapped up when we got there. Or, if you're wanting to just grab a casual bite, the big bar seems to have a lot of seating to grub at. Since it's in a shopping center, plenty of parking that's free. In LA, that's a must know. Wait staff and host were pretty nice overall and checked on us often enough. Place gets super busy so not sure how it is when you're here when it's packed. Recommend for a casual but yummy experience!!

    Queso Birria Tacos were delicious!

I went for the first time and altho I sat a while solo before I was assisted; my server was very nice! Happy Hour specials were pretty decent but limited; yet the food was good! If I had any disappointment with the food it would be the salsa & chips! I eat at a lot of Mexican spots and the chips had no real taste to them as some other spots but unlike some other spots; the salsa just didn't have any kick to it. I love my salsa hot! Maybe I can request that the next time. Let's talk about the ambiance because I was feeling the place until this party of women walked in with their dam pets! Ok; I would be cool with the smaller one but this big azz dog this one woman had sitting on the floor that I had to walk around to get to the restroom just didn't sit well with me. I didn't complain but I thought it was weird, that folks come out and bring these huge animals to eat because everyone isn't animal friendly because you can never underestimate them and to sit and eat in comfy; that kinda goes out the window especially when one gets to barking! I didn't like it. If they are allowing folks to come in with their pets; at least give them a section in the back or on a patio or somewhere not in the route of constant traffic especially if one has to use the restroom! I'm just making a suggestion. I won't make a big fuss about it because I probably would hardly go there anymore because of that but it is worth visiting again! I know dog lovers love their dogs but be respectful of others space too!

This place is a gem! I would highly recommend it for any delicious Mexican food, family celebration, and anyone looking for wonderful service and amazing food!

I'm actually disturbed by how delicious the tacos Gobernador were! The crazy part is I removed the cheese and the chipotle sauce, yet they were immaculate...it's puzzling honestly. These weren't on the happy hour or taco Tuesday menu, but I will be back (despite it being twenty two dollars for three tacos...well worth it) I also ordered one salmon taco, which was okay. I was so happy with the shrimp tacos that I honestly didn't pay any attention to the salmon one, so it's probably not a fair assessment. The vibe inside feels very much like a Mexican arcade--lots of colors, lights and excitement. The service was great as well, and the waitress kept checking on us, even after we finished our food and stayed for hours talking lol

    Mango Champurrado Margarita Slushie!

Lorena was a wonderful waitress, she made my Dad's birthday so fun! Great Happy Hour food & delicious Margarita Slushies! The Mango Chamoy is a MUST try, it's delicious! Love the flower ceiling when you walk in & don't forget to get a picture with the Kalaveras Angel Wings

The food came in 10minutes after I ordered. Ian had a good memory and I got napkins right away. The ambiance was good even for kids my granddaughter loves the music. MULBERRY - LOTS OF HYPE, LACKING REAL KOREAN FLAVOR AND -  EXPENSIVE…read more I make my own reservations and pay my own bills when I dine out.  PROS: The patio is the place to dine, Service was excellent, two dishes were worth the visit CONS: The food lacks authentic Korean flavor, it's expensive, and there's no regular bar--only fancy organic alcohol with unfamiliar names. PROTIP: Study the menu beforehand, eat on the Patio, order the Wngs and Short Rib and Try Son Nong Dan across the street. SUMMARY: Go to Koreatown and get better food for less I finally visited the much hyped Mulberry the other night, expecting a fantastic experience based on all the hype and social media. What I got was an overpriced meal on Sawtelle that watered down what should have been a showcase for excellent Korean food.  Mulberry is cramped and dark on the inside and excellent on the patio. There are some interesting tables inside near the back, but the Patio is where the action is, especially when the sun is out.It has shades of Hatchet Hall's ambiance and a great vibe. Service comes fast and is very good. They do know what they are doing from a service perspective. Drink orders arrive quickly, and food is served fairly fast. We knew what we wanted before going. Korean Pancake, Wings, Dumplings, Acorn Noodles and Short Ribs.  Korean Pancake - small and just ok flavor. The sauce was good, but for $17, you could get a giant, better tasting pancake almost anywhere else. Fried Chicken Wings - probably one of the two stars of the night--had a fantastic crust and were very plump and juicy. Sauce and pickles were excellent and you get two types of wings with each order, both were excellent.  Acorn Noodles - a very good mix of flavors, good nori, the hard-boiled egg (a surprise) was good--expensive for $22Steamed Dumplings - well made and cooked well, but the lackluster sauce served with them didn't help. A well-crafted dumpling that needs a much more flavorful sauce to accompany it.  Beef Short Ribs - The other star on the menu, along with the wings. Very tender and great taste. Use the salt! We ordered the extras which you don't have to do. Small piece for $49. It's a No Tip restaurant so you get the automatic 20% charge - which I did not mind. Pay the help. Our bill came to $200 for a meal that was probably worth $100.You can go to some of the AYCE Korean BBQ places and get better quality, more food and be happier. The hype for this place will die down. If you like Sawtelle go to Son Nong Dan across the street for an overall better experience and better pricing.

Went early to see if anything opened or if walk-in would be faster, surprisingly they actually had something come available sooner. We opted to sit inside and loved the ambiance. Food - amazing! I read reviews first and watched a couple IG videos so I knew a general idea of what we wanted to order. Glad the server suggested the orange chicken over the walnut shrimp when we were debating it. Chil wontons, absolutely a must get, different from DTF, not crazy spicy but full of flavor and richness. XO fatty noodles, perfect chewiness on the rolled noodles and the flavors were well balanced, we enjoyed them with a little chili paste and the orange chicken as the protein. Orange chicken, soooo much more flavorful than your average Panda Express orange chicken, good sized nuggets of chicken that were crispy and tender at the same time, and the zest livened it up. BBQ pork shank, our server did warn us it's not the easiest to eat, but it's worth it, hard to see cutting it off the bone because it was so dimly lite in the restaurant and your hands will get sticky but once you get chunks off the bone and your bao bun built it's delicious especially when you get the lacquered crispy skin yummm! Only skip for the night was the mango sticky rice. Much rather would've spend $8 on something else. The mango was tart/sour. The sticky rice was too wet and mushy. It was a pass for both of us. Service - our server was awesome. From greeting to end, he was the right amount of attentive and was super helpful with suggestions. Everyone from the food runner to the busser, they were all so nice. From getting us chili paste or to go containers, customer service was on point. It had a cool vibe and tons of allocated bottles on the bar (tequila and whiskey and whisky to name a few categories). The staff greeted us quickly and supplied us with some menus. I opted for the Idyllwild cocktail and loved it! It had the most complementary flavors and was so refreshing with the bourbon, yuzu, chartreuse, honey, and lemon flavors. My husband opted for a neat Caballito Cerrero Puntas pour (high proof agave spirit). They only had 0.5 Oz for their bottle and only charged for the partial pour. People came in and ordered anything from cocktails to neat pours to flights. It was a cool spot and the bartenders seemed pretty well versed in different cocktails, giving a few suggestions to different patrons. Even making a few Espresso Martinis for a couple of girls that didn't really like their initial cocktails. Staff was cool, attentive, and pretty quick and efficient with the pours. I'd definitely be down to try more drinks here if we roll through again. Luckily, we found some close street parking and it wasn't super busy so we easily found parking in the area. It also wasn't super packed in the venue so we could've opted for other seating--lounge areas, a few tables, or just at the bar.

Appreciate that the bartenders were attentive and that the place wasn't too full or busy. Happy hour drinks are worth the price. The regular cocktails are good but cannot compare to more well known places. I liked that there were bar seats, standing tables and seated areas. I wish they had some bar snacks but because they don't offer food, you can bring your own.

The cocktails are crafted perfectly, strong but smooth, and the atmosphere feels intimate without trying too hard. It's got that hidden-gem energy. July 2026, I think there were watch parties here for FIFA games. These games are during work hours. Well, I decided to come here for a Singles Meetup. Where is everyone? The bartender showed me a menu which I could order food that will be delivered from The Brixton. Scan the QR code to order. "Sorry, we aren't accepting orders at the moment..." I guess I could finish my beer, pay my tab and go searching for something good to eat. She didn't know the Wi-Fi password neither because they changed the password. Why broadcast the guest Wi-Fi if you aren't going to make it available? There was no organizer for the meetup event. With only a handful of people here, do I want to wait for the karaoke session? It's time to go eat somewhere else.

We started with the fried green tomatoes, and they were a standout. I'm usually not a pimento cheese fan, but here it elevated the dish. Every bite had the perfect balance of crispy crunch, creamy cheese, fresh herbs, and just the right touch of heat. For our mains, we ordered the lamb shank and collard greens. The lamb was fall-off-the-bone tender, and the rich, deeply flavorful broth made it even better. The green beans added a fresh pop that balanced the dish nicely. The collard greens were equally impressive, slow-cooked in a savory, flavorful pot liquor that begged to be soaked up with the must-order cornbread. Crispy on the outside, warm and buttery inside--it was perfection. Don't skip dessert. The chocolate chip cookies arrive warm from the oven and are the perfect ending. With its cozy, nostalgic atmosphere and elevated Southern cooking, Hatchet Hall feels like Sunday dinner at Grandma's--with a modern twist.

The breakfast plate was fine - bacon is really salty. The cornbread is the best part but even that is only good for the first few bites and then is heavy. Service is great though, so is the non-alcoholic cocktails menu and the ambience! Good for vibes and date nights if you're not picky about the food.

Also, having recently traveled throughout Indonesia in part of June & July 2026, I now understand more of the items on the menu from personal experience! Japanese Curry | Savory, hearty & delicious! I was immediately amazed when my plate arrived at the table! Eggplant, squash, baby carrots, and other veggies, swimming in the vibrant Yellow Curry made my mouth water! Each bite was just as yummy as the next! Incredibly flavorful! I would easily order again! Jasmine Rice | An aromatic mix of ginger, lemongrass & Thai lime leaves are both flavorful, as well as a great addition to combine with the Japanese curry dish! English Date Cake | Yum! The cake arrived complete with a beautiful purple flower on top! I absolutely love dates, which was a delicious part of the dessert! The banana toffee sauce really comes through as well! What a delicious combo! I would easily order again! Travel Notes | While in Indonesia I enjoyed some of the local flavors/dishes! After trying Nasi Goreng for the first time, Vegetarian style, I had the dish often throughout my travels! When I first saw the dish on the menu at Wallflower, I had no idea of what the flavors would taste like! Now I know and hopefully, on my next visit, I'll ask if the Chef can create it vegetarian style! Menu Options | More than the main menu is available; Vegan, Vegetarian & Gluten-free! I explored the vegetarian menu! Customer Service | Excellent, friendly and helpful with the menu! Seating | Indoor & Outdoor! Friends and I sat on the outside patio! I love the cute wooden tables! Overall | Yes, please! I enjoyed my dining experience, immensely, at Wallflower! I also had plenty of leftovers to enjoy! I'm looking forward to going back and trying other items on the menu! Every dish tasted thoughtful, unique, and restaurant-week-level refined. We ordered the nasi goreng fried rice, noodles, beef rendang, yam dish, and pea salad. Flavor-wise? Almost everything was incredible. The beef rendang especially was packed with flavor, and every dish felt elevated and intentional. My only reason for knocking off a star is the value. The portions were tiny -- not "small plates" tiny, but more like one-to-two bites each while still being priced aggressively. By the end, I felt more impressed than full. If the portions matched the quality, this would've easily been a 5-star experience. That said, if you care more about exceptional food than portion sizes, this place is worth trying. One of the most memorable meals I've had on the Westside.
