Went here for a gap meal to get me by until the next meal and that is exactly what this place is. It's a taco shop offering soft tacos of various kinds. I got a couple to try. One was beef and the other was shrimp. The shrimp was my favorite because it had a tangy sauce that really paired well with the shrimp and fried egg. The rest of the meal was pretty forgettable. The order taker talked me into getting salsa, spanish rice, and refried beans and those were definitely forgettable and not worth paying the extra money. I thought it was pretty expensive for what you get as well. We got three tacos, 3 tiny sides of the aforementioned salsa, refried beans, and spanish rice and one drink and our total was close to $17. My daughter and I visited Con Quesos tonight and found it fast, fresh, and delicious. However, there were a few small things that held it back. We split four tacos and a dip. Here's a breakdown of what we had: Chips: Probably the best chips in town. Seoul Food Dip: The cheese was creamy and rich. The seasoning was a little underwhelming and felt more like creole than Tex-Mex or Korean. That being said, I'd order it again. The Tortillas: I was very disappointed that the tacos were served on Mission tortillas. Nothing says generic and bland like a Mission tortilla. Los Cabos: The most boring flavorwise (basically a Stephen's special and beans on a tortilla) but the best executed. The chicken was tender and moist and the rice was fluffy. Condesa: Like the Los Cabos, the execution was great (very tender steak) and the flavor was a little bland. Santorini: Crunchy and a good concept but it needed much more tzatziki and feta. My daughter loved it though. Bombay: The strongest flavor but the flavor wasn't Tikka Masala. It was lacking heat (no green chiles or cumin seeds that I could see) and a little too much yogurt). My daughter doesn't love spice as much as I do though and thought it was perfect. All the negatives are pretty nitpicky. I like tacos. That said, I haven't been to dine, sit-down style, at Con Quesos, but I have eaten their tacos multiple times. So, this review is based on their pickup orders. And... it's pretty dang good. The chicken is good and the Condesa is worth the cost. Holy Yum. Easy access, and I just realized they have breakfast? I know where I'll be going next weekend. The only downside is the cost. While delicious (and worth it), their prices are a little steep for a thrice-weekly taco fix, in my opinion. Still, delicious. :) read more

This place is like a little piece of heaven in Fayetteville. No it's not 5 star dining but it's definitely good eating. I order the two taco platter. It was the Dardanelle with double rice and a margarita. It was good. The tacos won me over with the flavor and crunch it had. I had the black beans the night before and they have excellent flavor as well . On top of the great tacos they serve up equally excellent margaritas. Paired with the great customer service, I'd be back. The salsa was chunky which I loved and went great with the thick tortilla chips. The only problem was I felt like the rice was a little over done. My friend and I decided to try this place out, drive-thru was backed up so we decided to go in and get a takeout order. After putting in my order I sat in the restaurant for 30 minutes and watched as other couples and groups ordered and got there food. As I sat in the restaurant I had all the chefs and workers staring at me as I got more and more aggravated. I finally asked what was going on with my order, turns out the food was up in the window and the entire staff had no idea who was gonna pack it up. Worst service I have ever had. Went here for the first time tonight after it being recommended by everyone I know. Arrived during dinner rush hour and waited for about 10 minutes in the line which is no big deal given that the lobby is closed and the drive thru was busy. After getting to the window I waited about another 5 minutes and then got my food. Overall good experience so far. But when I got home I realized that I was given the wrong tacos, the wrong ingredients on the tacos, and the wrong sides. Although the tacos were incorrect they were good, not great but good. Still with hope I decided to try the chips and Queso and was once again disappointed to find that about 1/3 of the chips were either chewy or burnt. Overall it was not the con Quesos that I've heard everyone raving about, I must have caught y'all on a bad night and that's ok. We came towards the end of happy hour (with abt 15 minutes left) for pitchers. The rest of our party got there before us and had no problem getting pitchers. When we approached the counter, the cashier said "were out" and didn't offer to make more. I know margaritas are sold all day long so I don't see why she couldn't make more? Not to mention the machine wasn't even empty. It's 5 on a Friday and you still haven't hit the dinner crowd. I've been to con quesos over the years and the food is fairly good but they are terrible at serving you in the drive thru. It took more than 30 minutes from me ordering to me leaving with my food. They forgot about the person in front of me and she had to go to the window and remind them she was in line. It was not good service on their part. read more

This place is really good. I love that they have a variety of different unique flavored tacos. I feel like that is a trend here in NWA, there are a variety of restaurants that do this same thing. They have way more than queso, but the many different kinds of quesos bode well for their namesake. We got a queso sampler with guac and I loved it all. I like that you can just order one taco, which was fresh and delicious. The menu is at the back of the store...I've never seen anything like that, but it's nice to be able to look over the menu without the pressure of the order takers wishing you'd hurry up. Very fun and unique menu. One of a kind in Fayetteville. I love getting margaritas and a taco. I have tried most of the tacos and haven't had one I don't like yet. There are often a lot of college student and frat/sorority nights I tend to notice that can be a little loud and crowded. The Bombay, on the other hand, had rich tikka masala flavor. It was delicious. The order came with chips and salsa. The salsa was not very spicy. Great tacos, friendly staff, and good prices! I have had nothing but positive experiences. My go to is the Cozumel queso & chips, along with the Los Cabos taco. The Cozumel queso has a very fresh taste with a hint of lime. The chips are also freshly made and warm! I also love the vegetarian taco with black beans and avocado, and I'm not even vegetarian! This is my very favorite Fayetteville taco location of the few! I ordered catfish tacos and the Seoul queso dip. The total was $12 which is a little pricey for tacos in my opinion. The fish tacos were light and were not breaded which I liked. The queso portion was very small compared to other places in town. I didn't really think it tasted very Korean flavor infused or whatever. The chips were meh.. The oil tasted a little on the rancid side.. Something that really bothered me was that one of the quesos was named "plantation" which is pretty problematic- I almost walked out when I saw that.. That's a heavy word to use in the south to name a cheese dip after.. I'm hoping the owner changes that. read more

Ordered two tacos and two small dips. Tacos were way overpriced (4.25 for one). There is a place next door called Mango Taco where you get three, count 'em, THREE tacos for $3.00. They are just as fresh and in my opinion better than this place. We literally opened our box when we got home and said where is our food. For close to $16.00 I expected bigger portions. The food tasted fine, the dips we paid $2.49 for where literally in a container you would get if you ordered a side of sour cream. We were both still hungry after eating.
