I have gone there for years and several times a week. She doesn't ID my wife but IDs me still even though Ive been there a million times. At this point I think she does it to mess with me. I had heard good things about the bakery, so I went with my roommate a few months ago, and now we're hooked! We go at least biweekly and it never disappoints. Bought a strawberry pie Sunday my husband went to gert a piece today and it had mold on it hasn't been 24 hrs yet.

Bacon donuts and peanut butter are amazing! Huge variety of different treats, coffees, and donuts.

We went in for lunch. Not too impressed as the wait was long and the food was bland. Very nondescript.

I'm never disappointed by the pastries at Concannon's and they always have something new and creative to taste. Coming in for donuts and coffee and staying to enjoy the atmosphere is a great way to spend a weekend morning with friends. its a-ok as far as donuts go. I think the blueberry donuts are pretty good. The long jons cream filled lack taste. Something missing in the ingredient. I go there once in a while but you cant hear anybody with the acoustics in there. read more

In all my years of eating donuts and pastries from Concannon's I have NEVER had anything that wasn't great! It is a home town kind of thing to come here and love their products, I believe! I cannot deny that their pastries are very good. My problem stems from their underhanded ploys to sell product less appealing than advertised. No less than four out of my last five visits I have gotten home with pastries that looked far less appealing than what was in sight. There will be luscious looking items in the front of their case trays overflowing with icing. Yet, upon arrival at home when I remove what I have purchased I see pastries with maybe half the icing than what I saw in their case. If you bend down and look toward the back of their case you will see items that are skimpy compared to what is up front. These are what they will pack for you every time, not the great specimens in the front that lures you in. There are also drawers in back that customers cannot see in that they will pull from if you don't say anything. I am sick of this practice and will demand to hand pick every item I buy from now on, no exceptions. If they put up a squawk, I will ask for a manager. If I cannot buy the specific items I point out I will simply leave. If you are there after 4:00pm be sure to ask for the freshest or you will get old every time. I am angry and feel that Concannon's owes me. read more
