The parking lot was gridlock, this place is so popular! We waited for someone to leave to get a space. My Yelp friends said this locally owned donut shop is THE place to visit. The building is large by donut standards. Inside, the line forms to the left, pass tables of cupcakes, locally roasted coffee, Amish popcorn and more. The donut cases are hypnotic. Cases filled with the biggest, most colorful donuts I'd ever seen. The clerks are down home friendly and efficient. People moved through the line and checked out quickly. Prices are small town reasonable. I picked the local favorite - the glazed pretzel (it was the size of three glazed donuts twisted into a pretzel shape). I didn't think I would eat the whole thing, but I did. What a delicious donut! My granddaughter had her eyes on a chocolate layered concoction with strawberries. That donut disappeared so quickly. My husband had his usual apple fritter, which was packed with apple flavor. He was happy. Pass the racks of cakes, candy and other assorted goodies, is a dining area serving coffee. We sat and enjoyed our donuts there. The restrooms are clean and accessible. There's outdoor patio seating. Cakes are made to order. Concannon's is a must visit if you are passing through Muncie.

Concannon's Bakery has been a a go to shop since my childhood. I can recall being very young and picking up doughnuts with my mother at their downtown Muncie location in the early 1970's. Fast forward to 2024 and they have moved twice and are now on the Northwest side of Muncie in a beautiful large building since around 2010. Parking is in their own surface lot. The display cases are reminiscent of my teen years when looking over all of the yummy doughnuts. As well as the multi layered service behind the counter to serve customers quickly. I found the service to be very good. What has changed is the amount of additional items outside of their delicious doughnuts offered. Like pretzels, popcorn and various candies. All available by mail order. They also have these branded items in various locations in state and the Midwest. They also added a coffee bar in their newer location. A barista takes your order. Finally the biggest change is adding a dining room to enjoy these amazing doughnuts. I found the area clean. It's self busing. My order was a childhood favorite Long John with buttercream and a powdered sugar Long John with buttercream. I also ordered a house coffee. I enjoyed them in the dining room. The pastries seem close to identical, but smaller in size and much more expensive. I loved my visit back to my hometown and of course to a super FAVORITE business. However, they are not quite as amazing as they once were in my opinion on taste. At the same time major improvements have occurred which is appreciated. 4.5 rounding down and absolutely recommend hitting them up.

Stopped by for a few donuts yesterday. They put them in a bag. We went right home and the bag had all the icing stuck to the top. It was a bag of sticky so I just tossed them. In the past fillings were also watered down and we have had stale donuts. Taking them off my list of stops.

Nice bakery set up in an old MCL. Absolutely any baked goods you could want. Staff seemed fairly in top of things. The furniture was a little run down as it was left over from MCL. But the treats were very tasty!

I had heard good things about the bakery, so I went with my roommate a few months ago, and now we're hooked! We go at least biweekly and it never disappoints. The yeast doughnuts, the apple fritters, and the chocolate ones are to die for. If the food wasn't enough, the employees are always sweet. read more

Such good donuts and sweet treats. This is easily the best bakery in the area or that I've ever been to for that matter! They also have a little area you can order lunch at and enjoy it in the seating area. Cozy atmosphere and the aroma of baked goods makes this place a great spot for breakfast or lunch! read more

I'm never disappointed by the pastries at Concannon's and they always have something new and creative to taste. Coming in for donuts and coffee and staying to enjoy the atmosphere is a great way to spend a weekend morning with friends. Or, if you have work to do, they have plenty of booths with power outlets. read more

its a-ok as far as donuts go. I think the blueberry donuts are pretty good. The long jons cream filled lack taste. Something missing in the ingredient. I go there once in a while but you cant hear anybody with the acoustics in there. read more

In all my years of eating donuts and pastries from Concannon's I have NEVER had anything that wasn't great! It is a home town kind of thing to come here and love their products, I believe! The same way Muncie people are crazy about our Pizza King pizza!! Prices are reasonable. Food always tasty and good quality. Thanks!! read more

I cannot deny that their pastries are very good. My problem stems from their underhanded ploys to sell product less appealing than advertised. No less than four out of my last five visits I have gotten home with pastries that looked far less appealing than what was in sight. There will be luscious looking items in the front of their case trays overflowing with icing. Yet, upon arrival at home when I remove what I have purchased I see pastries with maybe half the icing than what I saw in their case. If you bend down and look toward the back of their case you will see items that are skimpy compared to what is up front. These are what they will pack for you every time, not the great specimens in the front that lures you in. There are also drawers in back that customers cannot see in that they will pull from if you don't say anything. I am sick of this practice and will demand to hand pick every item I buy from now on, no exceptions. If they put up a squawk, I will ask for a manager. If I cannot buy the specific items I point out I will simply leave. If you are there after 4:00pm be sure to ask for the freshest or you will get old every time. I am angry and feel that Concannon's owes me. read more

The Cammack Cheezy Jalapeno was what jumped out at me first (a burger with cream cheese, pepper jack cheese and jalapeños). It's not spicy at all, but it does have a nice kick. The cream cheese mellows things out, so it's a nice, flavorful burger. I also got the loaded cheese fries, because I couldn't help myself. The fries came topped with barbecue pork, but I could have chosen chili or bacon. But why would I have? Pulled pork is always the right choice. The fries were good and cheesy, and had a lot of pulled pork on them. This is the part of the review where I tell you that you need to order your food and sweet treats at separate counters. Because I didn't know that! I ordered a root beer float and a banana split from one counter, and they were waiting for me at another counter. I didn't know that sweet treats should be ordered and picked up at the ice cream counter, but now you know. You're welcome. This is diner food at its finest. Lots of fried things and malts and burgers and stuff. Definitely come for the food, because it's great. But also come for the decor and atmosphere. Cammack Station is like stepping back into the 1950s, in the best way.

We love love love their doughnuts. Of course we have gone to Concannon's for years, and we also get our cakes and pies here for special occasions and even our wedding cake was made here. Their cookies and popcorn are also worth mentioning. I haven't tried any of their breads or the cafe, but I can tell from how their sweet baked items are that anything from here is probably wonderful! I recommend it to anyone in the area. read more
