Worst experience I have ever had. I had an acupuncture appointment today. The person who greeted me was Arman. He was literally the rudest person I have ever met in life. He talked down to me nonstop, and kept on telling me to go home to read about acupuncture just so he could get out of the appointment. Who tells their patient during an appointment that you should go home and read about what acupuncture is instead of being here for the appointment? When i told him i did not want to do that, he then told me I should go back to the doctor to talk about acupuncture first instead of completing today's appointment as well. This is the nicest US Healthworks and doctors office I have ever been to. I'm 30. Every individual from the front desk to the doctors are exceptionally friendly, accommodating, and efficient. Its a clean and pleasant environment. Of course like any health care establishment you will have to wait, and maybe longer than you hoped...but you're not waiting extra because if mistakes or inefficiency etc. I was impressed enough to bother to write a review. read more

Horrible place! Got hurt at work on the 2nd of June, my workers comp agent calls me yesterday to come here. I called yesterday and the girl says to come in at 7 for walk ins cause next Appt is a week from yesterday. I've been sitting in the waiting room for 45 mins and ppl come and go. This is probably my worst urgent care experience EVER. I'm insured and even showed presented my insurance card to the front desk guy named James. I will disregard his last name, but honestly, he turned a twenty minute visit into an 1:30 wait. He told me he called four numbers and that my insurance provider says I'm not a member. Thus, I called and was able to verify my insurance. After I told him, he said he would call and verify again. After 45 mins. and five patients later, I approached him again and said he was just about to call. PLEASE. Anyway, he got it right second time around not even apologizing for making me wait. On top of that, the urgent care doctor was perhaps the most naive doctor I've seen. I had a skin problem, and he diagnosed me standing five feet away. He didn't touch me at all, and he immediately told me to cover my skin. His tip: go see a dermatologist. I've had skin problems all my life. It was like he thought he was talking to a 2 year old. Long story short: he MISDIAGNOSED me. I wasn't surprised, so my warning to all: DO NOT GO HERE AT ALL COSTS! read more

We have been going back and forth with their billing department for over a year about an urgent care visit balance of what should have been $10! They were incapable of dealing with our insurance company so I had to act as the middleman. I have had to explain to them where to send the claim even though it is clearly stated on the back of our insurance card, and corrected them on balances they sent to us because they didn't match the insurance explanation of benefits we were both given. After everything was finally as it should be after many e-mails and phone calls, I made the ($10!) payment on the day we received the bill but they still had a collection agency call us about the payment a week after our payment! This was the most frustrating experience I have ever had with any urgent care or medical office. read more

I am very grateful for the physical exam I was allowed to undergo as a walk in tonight, arriving less than an hour before they closed. At first, I was instructed to come back in the morning but thankfully I was allowed in. The receptionist really helped me. The rad tech was fast, friendly and efficient. Came in for a pre-employment drug test. They said the wait was 4 hours. That meant they might close before I could have a 5 minute hair collection test. They triage all acute and non acute cases first. You are last on the list. They are paid more money to do the drug test then they are for capitated or cal optima patients. Give me a break. If you have a contract and you can't take time to perform the task don't offer the service. I notified the employer. Terrible place. read more

Worse health care provider ever. I had a cold, fever & cough for over 3 weeks. Did not visit (tried to let it run its course). Finally, I decide to visit US Health Works. At first glance it seemed decent, but upon entering the facility it was obviously dirty, and not properly kept. I was not even seen by a Doctor. I was seen by a Medical Assistant (confirmed after I left the office) who misdiagnosed me. I went to a REAL reputable health facility in Northridge and was diagnosed with Bronchitis. My friend had a work related injury and was referred to Concentra, the location on Morse in Irvine. She wasn't getting better and had been off work for almost 3 months. As a retired RN case manager in workers' compensation, I agreed to go to her next appointment. They said to come early so we got there 15 min ahead of her 3:30 appointment. We didn't get called back until after 4 pm. We waited in the exam room for about 20 minutes when the orthopedic MD entered the room and he said "Good Morning!" (it was 4:15 pm). He sees me sitting in the chair & I said I was a friend of the patient and then he asked me "do you have a gun!!!" This was the 3rd time she saw this doctor and the 1st time he ever touched/examined her. At this point in her treatment he should have done a cortisone injection not more physical therapy (of course done at this clinic $$). We then waited 45 minutes to get her work status note. The MD was leaving for the day and we were still sitting there, he looked at me and shrugged his shoulders. Needless to say I got her into a professional Orthopedic specialist. Who gave her a cortisone injection at the 1st appointment. She is now back to work. Never refer anyone to this clinic, staff are unprofessional. No one ever washed their hands, charts all over the floor - a mess. Pro Care is a much better option for work related injuries. They have 2 locations 1 in Irvine and 1 in Huntington Beach. read more

I was sent here for a pre-employment drug test. They only do walk-ins so you definitely need to make sure you have at least an hour to be there. They should have a better system so people who are coming in for quick 5 minute drug tests don't have to wait for an hour. read more

I came here for a pre-employment drug test... and all I can say is that the workers are doing their best to accommodate all the people who come here for medical purposes. I had to wait 2 hours to take the test, but that was understandable as all their doctors were backed up (and after taking the test, I realized it wasn't just pee-in-a-cup-and-leave type thing so I understand why these things take so long). You check-in at the receptionist when you first go in (sign the clipboard). Ask for the wait time, because they'll be happy to give you the estimate. You're allowed to leave and come back, but the catch is, if they call your name and you're not there, you've given up your spot to the next person. When the lady at the front told me it was gonna be a 2 hour wait, I came back a little after an hour just to be safe. While waiting for my turn, I saw a lot of people come back too late, giving up their turn to the next person (they didn't seem too happy). Stop complaining if you miss your turn! Guess what, they obviously don't have time to wait for you because that's why there was a wait time in the first place, and it wouldn't be fair to the other people waiting if they put you next when you come back (because then everyone would do that and as chaotic the office already is, that's just gonna make it worse). Since so many people asked about this policy, I feel like they should just make a sign and have people read it-- it'll save the receptionists from having to explain to everyone who asks (which is a lot of people)-- and then spend that time explaining doing something else (or chilling, I mean, if I worked there, I wanna just chill instead of answering the same questions over and over again). And so why "Meh. I've experienced better."... I came in to take the test with a friend and we both turn in our paperwork at the same time, so you would think that we'd get called consecutively right? WRONG. My friend had to wait over half an hour before he got called (four people got called before him). read more

The staff was very friendly and attentive. The Doctor, well he was a busy Doctor. But then bedside manner was not what I came for. This office seems to take in more than they are prepared to handle. We had a decent experience. Doctor was nice but gave us a prescription for a cream strength that is not made or sold in the US. So the pharmacy called and left a message with them to correct the prescription. No response. So we went back to the pharmacy. And took back the paper script back to the doctor. He wrote new script. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE!!! My employer sent me here for my CDL medical examination. Took over two hours. I didn't pass my vision so I had to get glasses and return few days later. Another two hours, and there was nobody in line before me when I got there. Very long waits. Waited to be seen by an assistant, then waited to be seen by doc, then waited for paperwork before I could leave. Both times. Never had to wait this long at any medical facility before. She said yes and I said so I can come in at 5am for drug testing required by my new employer, she said yes, open 24 hrs. I arrive at 6:45 today, they don't open until 7 for drug tests. The bad yelp reviews for this facility made me nervous to go here but I'm glad I did! Didn't get anybody's names but all the staff that I spoke with were very friendly. I didn't have an appointment and I went in around noon on a Monday, I waited about 20 minutes then got called in to do my drug screen and physical. The nurse doing my drug screen was very nice! He was personable and professional. Then I went into the exam room to complete my physical. I had to change into the hospital gown which I've never had to do but they provide shorts to wear as well. The doctor came in and did some tests and I was done! Very happy with my experience and I would recommend going to this location. read more

The staff was relatively unfriendly and disinterested in any of us that were waiting. What saved this visit from total disappointment was Dr. Rhodeman. I only called in to see if I could come in and the phone receptionist Yelli was so rude, that I had to choose another location. She kept cutting me off and would not give me any information until I was able to tell her what medical group I was in. Apparently, if my doctor gave me this number to contact you, this should be the location that my medical group is approved for. I can only imagine what it would have been like should I have went in for treatment. If the public is ill, the last thing they want is to go to get treatment with uncompassionate employees. Its crazy how we are hustled through like numbers normally. Dr. Alipour, is amazing. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I have recommend him and this care group as a result of his complete care and understanding. Intelligent without the air of arrogance you get from some doctors. I went in early this morning for an x-ray & respirator fit test, which I needed for work and this guys were beyond professionals. They treated me with respect and dignity throughout the process. I noticed a previous negative rating because of how long it takes & I think it is unfair for businesses that do an excellent job to be given a negative rating just because it takes longer than you expected. And yes my process took 1 hour & 20 minutes, but you know what in 80 minutes they took an X-ray, they did the respirator fit test and a well qualified physician examined me & read my x-ray and best of all they only charged me $90. Of course I will have to return to get my results for the x-ray, but i expected that. I definitely recommend this business! read more

I went in to get help with an infection as I have yet to get a regular doctor and doubted I could at the last minute as I needed to be seen immediately. The nurse was very nice and made me feel comfortable being there. Dr. Oswald; however, left something to be desired in his bedside manner. I should have checked the reviews before going in!! From the beginning to the end of my visit I had a horrible experience! The front desk ladies were super rude. When I got there one was on the phone she didn't even acknowledge me and the other one had an attitude. She told me it would be a 30 minute wait with an attitude. After 20 min they called me in, the guy who took my vitals was super nice! I was then led to a room by the rudest lady ever! She told me to undress and put on a robe. I waited in the room for about 30 minutes and no one came in to check, so I decided to peak out. The lady that had led me to the room yelled at me and told me to go back inside. She was very unprofessional because she also left the other patient's door wide open while she was translating in spanish, which I happen to know spanish. After 10 min the doctor came in. After, I went back to the rude lady so she can do the drug test. She began insulting me. I had to leave my purse in a cabinet and I couldn't close it so she yanked the key out of my hand and told me " It looks like you're having a bad day." I just couldn't reach the cabinet I'm 4"10. She gave me the the cup to pee, and when I asked her what the other 2 cups were for she said just go inside and pee, again with an attitude. After I came out she asked me to date it and sign it, I accidentally wrote the wrong number and she pointed and yelled at me "PUT THE DATE HERE AND YOUR INITIALS HERE!!." I told her she didn't have to yell at me she responded " I love my job and I'm having a great day" . I honestly would never go back nor would I recommend anyone to go! If you value your time and health, DO NOT GO HERE! The level of incompetence at this company is staggering. Over the course of a month I was 1. Perscriped a medication I was allergic to after telling them multiple times about my allergies (thank god an outside pharmacist caught their mistake). 2. Forced to wait 7 days for them to even submit a request for an MRI 3. Blatantly lied to about how long it took them to submit that request 4. Had to guess on what dosage of steroid I should take because the PA didn't know and didn't bother to find out for me 5. Was forced to see the PA when I specifically requested the doctor and made an appt at a certain time and date specifically to see him and 6. Cried because of pain at both a PA appt and a Physical Therapy appt because they continued to push on an injured area after I told them how painful it was/to stop and 7. Was told by a claims rep (who is supposed to be unbiased) that US Healthworks is consistently the worst company she has to work with. THESE PEOPLE DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR HEALTH OR SAFETY. I would argue it is better to just go untreated than go to US Healthworks. read more

The staff is very friendly, the facility when i was there was clean and they take walk in for employment testing. You do need to make sure you have the time to wait your trun and be seen. You'll need 1.5- 2 hours to be on the safe side. But once your called your pretty much in and out. read more
