First thing is that this place does not open 24/7. My company sent me here for a worker's comp case. I came in with very bad headaches and was hoping to get treatment for it. But it was such a waste of time to be seen by a very young PA, Ashima Gore. She was not giving the appropriate attention. Not just that, she was given false information. I filled out the application with full details of my visit along with the form my employer sent, but Ashima came in having no clue about why I was there. At first, I still provided her with the information, but then she seemed like she didn't pay attention and asked me again. I was having headaches, with her being that way, I felt uncomfortable. I asked if she is a novice in her position. She said she is experienced. If she is, she is terrible. For those of you that don't know, you don't have to stay employed with your company to use worker's comp benefits or treatments. If your injuries took place during work, even if you resigned, you can still use your worker's comp. It's general information. Google it up if you want to cross-check. For Ashima to be a PA there and told me that my situation is not applicable to worker's comp if I was no longer with the company. And that there must be a physical object falling on me, hitting me, or causing physical injuries for the worker's comp to apply, was straightly ridiculous and misleading. I advised her, supposedly, as long as the injury took place during employment. I still don't have to be with the company to get treatment. She argued that I would still need to be employed or be hit with a physical object. I am sorry, but I don't take unreasonable statements as an answer. I requested Ashima to give me a report of what she stated, and I would seek for professional feedback on her statement. She then suggested that I see the director of the clinic tomorrow for a second opinion. I went through enough headaches. I needed treatment. I don't need an unpresent careless PA to misinform me. My headaches got worse after I saw her. She does more damage and without any help. It was a total waste of time seeing her, then came home with heavier headaches. Not just that, the report does not show all my injuries. I asked the representative that handed me the report, "How come some information is missing?" She stated that because they don't want to disclose sensitive information, that was why it is not there. What? Dried eyes are sensitive information that cannot be disclosed? What in the world were they both thinking? This is not what I need when I am looking for treatment. I get no treatment and just got false information from these girls. read more

I drove my partner here because it's 24/7. In the waiting room, I overheard a female worker at the front being verbal about not wanting to be there. In addiction to that, my partner also overheard the coworkers debating on who was going to do his X-ray. He also didn't receive any assistance or help getting up and around. The workers are very unprofessional and we definitely will never come back here. read more

I have been seeing Dr Aflatoon the last 9 months , he and his staff are amazing ! He is kind , extremely knowledgeable and has been a huge patient advocate for me . I would recommend him and his office anytime ! I've had physical therapy , an MRI and X-rays and all procedures have been smooth and easy . My first impression of this medical center was great. I came in for a work injury and O'Niel was on his own managing the front desk, checking clients in and out, opening the door after hours, taking vitals, taking patients to their rooms, and doing an absolutely amazing job. I felt bad for him but he was kind all throughout. The initial visit took me about 3 hours from entering the medical center until I was able to leave, but that's on the company for not providing enough resources for more than one nurse to be there after hours. My next visits were bad. The front desk lady looked unhappy I walked through the door. But the nurse that took my vitals was amazing, sweet, and kind. She truly cared about how I was doing (I didn't get her name). My PA was aloof and rushed me out each time. I felt like I was annoying her by just talking about and updating her on my injury. I needed her to fill out a short form for my workplace. While in the waiting room, I heard her complain to her coworker that "this person" sent her a "huge" document to fill out. I had told the front desk that I'd be waiting for her to fill it out since they hadn't seen the paperwork that was sent by my workplace before my visit. I waited for her to call me when it was done (she said she would) only to wait 15 minutes after it had been sitting at the front desk and had to ask to have them. Only then did the front desk lady start to scan my papers. I wasn't given my Work Status Update back after PT and asked to have it. She seemed annoyed and said "ok, I'll have to walk all the way there to get it for you." (The whole building is pretty small, by the way.) I thanked her but she didn't look at me, left, came back, still couldn't find it or figure out what the page looked like, sounded annoyed -- all another 15 minutes. Afterwards, I really dreaded going back and being treated like crap by some of the staff. On the upside, the physical therapy team is amazing. They were attentive, kind, understanding, and made me feel welcome. They offered great explanations for why they gave me certain exercises and helped me gain confidence and strength after my injury. I really appreciated Jay, Patricia, Eric, and Lesley (a PT student in training) for their help, encouragement, and genuine kindness. Talking to them was easy and made me feel less scared to come back. During my last 2 visits, Jenny (the new PA in charge of me) was friendly, and helped accommodate for me/change my paperwork when we had a miscommunication about my healing progress and return to work. Umberto (I'm sorry if I misspelled your name!) and Annie were also friendly and kind nurses. I've noticed that when I try to call the center sometimes, the phone is picked up several times but immediately put back on hold (once this happened for 15 minutes straight). Don't be discouraged if this happens to you, just try to call again. The lady that picked up at 12:35PM on 7/3/2024 was extremely rude. She asked me what I needed, and while I was answering, she cut me off to ask what day I wanted to reschedule to. After she put my next appointment date in, she immediately transferred me to the physical therapy line without another word. When I had to reschedule again to make sure my doctor's appointment was after physical therapy (this is what they prefer), Jessica picked up at 12:43PM. She introduced herself, was kind, and was happy to help me. She rescheduled my appointment and even asked me why I had to reschedule. By the end of the call, she wished me well and I felt much happier and cared for. If I could give individual reviews, I'd give all the people that I gave names and made me feel cared for 4-5 stars and would give those in which I didn't disclose their names that were rude 0-1 star. Being in for an injury at a new medical center is already intimidating and hard. I understand that working in the medical field at an urgent care center that deals primarily with work injuries can be difficult and draining, but there's absolutely no reason to treat your patients like trash right off the bat. I also had to wait until after my treatment was completed before posting this review for fear of retaliation from the same employees I had complaints about. I was going to give this center 2 stars because I didn't even want to come back, but the positive experiences I had with those I named resulted in a third star (it was a hard decision). I sincerely hope Concentra takes these customer complaints into consideration and acts accordingly to ensure that some of this medical center's staff stops mistreating patients. read more

Like the DMV, be prepared to wait. As a County of Orange employee, this is where HCA sends you for your medical test. I arrived at my appointment time at 10 am on a Wednesday. This place is accessible off Ball (although the address is Anaheim Boulevard), and the entrance and parking is in the BACK behind KFC and McDonald's. It says CONCENTRA URGENT CARE on the building. Plenty of parking and upon walking in, there's a counter that says Patient Check In. There's a bunch of clipboards on the counter and I signed in, but still stood there not to assume I was at the right place, until I verbally spoke to a person. I was handed a clipboard for the bunch of questionnaires, and told to wait. There's a waiting area with a tv showing the KTLA Morning News. There was 8-10 people waiting so I'm going to assume that I will be seen in the order of check in. I was finally called at 10:45 and after the basic test of weight, vision and blood pressure, they asked me to wait in the lobby until a specific room they needed became available. The place is deceptively larger than it looks. That could explain why some people complained they got lost in the shuffle, as there's a lot of rooms. They are a bit unorganized, and like many places, they are just plain understaffed. Given today's circumstances I give this a 3 (just ok) experience. read more

If i could give this place zero stars i would. First of all it's dirty i came in for a physical and there were flying cockroaches on the floor. Yuck! I got to concentra at 6:50am and they open at 7am and i still had to wait for two hours to even get my physical. Then the person that started my physical was a student ( don't get me wrong i use to be a student so it's not that) he was just absolutely rude. He commented about my vision and made me feel so horrible, without even knowing that i had a cornea transplant. Then he was making me do things that weren't even necessary for the physical. So huge waste of time. And then now nobody communicated to me that i needed to come back at a certain tome to get my TB read so now i am wasting more time waiting. Pre-employment physical visit. The most challenging thing about Concentra Medical is trying to find it; the building is obstructed from street view by the much larger Anaheim Global Medical Center on Anaheim Blvd and by the 7-Eleven, McDonalds, and KFC on Ball Rd. Entering off Ball Rd through the KFC driveway is the easiest and safest way to enter. Other than that, it's a standard Urgent care facility. Average wait time is about one hour so be prepared. Coffee is on the right side of the reception counter and the bathroom is on the right as you enter (ask for a key). If you are here for a pre-employment physical, don't forget your immunization records or any other documents you are asked to bring! read more

This place is a joke. I would never step foot in this place if it weren't for employment purposes. When I called yesterday, some girl put me on hold and forgot about it. 15mins later I just hung up, called back, some guy told me that they open at 7am tomorrow and ok to come in at 7am. Sllooowwwwww, even if you have an appointment, which means nothing because you still have to wait 2 hours with an appointment "because we are a high volume clinic." Bring a book/work to do, you might even finish your novel before you leave! Came 2x as this is where my employer sent me for a employee health blood draw. First time I waited for a total of FIVE HOURS FOR A SIMPLE BLOOD DRAW. They didn't allow my employer to make an apt for me, so I was given the status of "walk-in" even though my employer tried to call and make an apt. Waiting room is cramped and basically has no social distancing since there were about 40 patients inside just waiting to be seen. Why is the process excruciating: Wait in line of 10+ people to check in, and during checkin I was told a 2-3 hour wait. Didn't tell me 2-3h wait was to get vitals taken and I'd have to wait another 2 hours in the waiting room to get into the patient room. The patient bed was still dirty (they ripped off the exam paper in front of me, no other cleaning/ sterilization done) and they didn't tell me I'd wait another 30mins for the doctor who spent only 2 mins with me. Yes, it was for a blood draw, no, I'm not here for anything else. Then the doctor told me to wait again for a nurse to do my blood draw. I was in the room for 30 mins before I decided to open the door just in case they forgot about me inside the room. Lo and behold, 10 mins after I opened the door, they told me I could come to the nurse station for the blood draw. They made an appointment to come back next week. I thought the appointment was for another blood draw, turns out it was just to get the results. But they didn't tell me this when I checked in for the "appointment" or that I'd still have to wait 2 hours even with an "appointment". I asked how I could access my patient portal so I could see my results. Was told "We don't do that here". Really? So I guess the Concentra website's button to log on the patient portal is just for show then huh? TLDR: come prepared to spend most of your day stuck waiting with a good thick book! read more

The rude receptionist told me I had 8 people in front of me so the wait would be at least 2 hours. I didnt even need to see a doctor though! I needed a pre-employment rapid drug screening. My future employer referred me here. They dont make appointments. They are obviously understaffed and you get the feeling they dont want you there. I'm a travel nurse and have gone to this Concentra multiple times over the past few years as I do need multiple physical clearances per contract. I only choose to go to this Concentra or the one in Union City as I always have a pleasant experience. I tried going to a different urgent care that's not under Concentra and had a bad experience, so I decided to come back here again. As with any urgent care, doctor's office, or pre employment screening, I clear my schedule for a day to get all this done. They are always so nice to me and pleasant. Of course there is a wait; being in healthcare myself, I understand. There is always going to be waiting times in healthcare, everyone needs to understand that and be patient. I usually go when they open at 7am and have never had trouble. read more

I come to this location because it's contracted with my job. The staff has always been friendly with me but they just need to work on time management. I went in recently with an appointment made prior and it still took almost 30 minutes to see me. Wow these people are terrible for Workman;s comp assistance. I would get a lawyer early in the process if you think you are going to have some long term issues. They stopped treating my wife because she had supposedly reached maximum improvement, and they are impossible to contact to have form filled out or questions answered. I guess if you have a minor cut or you have no other options, this is an OK facility, but if you actually need help go somewhere else. I have been here a total of 3x in the past month. I have learned to Concentra you are nothing but a number. There was literally no other Patient here and I still waited to be seen for at least 30 minutes. Not too bad, but wasn't sure what took so long. 2nd time here for follow up appointment. Got here at 133P for my 145P appointment. I was vitaled and placed in room at 210P. I waited and finally at 240P (almost an hour after my scheduled appointment time) I came out of the room. A staff there saw me, proceeded to go around the corner and say "Number 12 is out. She's out I saw her." I looked at my room number and observed I was in room 12. I walked over to the internal desk and asked the first nurse I saw if I would just reschedule because I had another medical appointment at 3P. I was told I could not get paperwork for today's visit (convenient they won't document how long everything took). 3rd time here, I walked in and signed in. My appointment time once again, came and went. I asked the receptionist how much longer it would take. She asked if I signed in. I told her I had on the clipboard. I was not checked in which caused a delay. Hope I don't have to come back here for a long time, if ever. read more

I was there for my n95 mask fitting they open at 7 and I was there at 655 but they made me wait 1 hour and 15 min and when I was called back omg the nurse was very rude and was unprofessional.
