Always the best and fast service at Disneyland first aid. I've only had minor needs like Tylenol or bandaids but the team is always caring and helpful. You sign in each time you come with your name and time and then let them know what your concern is and then the RN helps you with minor issues. If it's more major of course then more medical team care is needed so this is going to be for much smaller cases - headaches, cuts etc. read more

This area of the park is tucked away in a corner at the end of Main Street between shopping and the Plaza Inn. And I'm glad it's tucked away because most people don't know it exists. We often use the rooms as a clean and spacious place to change our kids. Each exam room has a changing table and a large sink to clean up afterwards. The staff there is so friendly and happy to usher you in to your own private area. I'm sure you would have to give priority to people in need of aid, but I have never seen it where all of the rooms were being occupied. They do also offer free care products from band aids to feminine products should you need them. Oh, and for the kids, free stickers to congratulate them for doing a good job. I hope none of you ever need to use this service (beyond things like changing a dirty diaper), but if you do, know that you are going to be in very capable, caring hands by wonderful staff. read more

The Disneyland First Aid is located in a convenient spot at the end of Main Street, U.S.A. right behind the Plaza Inn and near the path to Adventureland. This makes it an easy find once you are aware of its location, yet secluded enough from the busy park activity outside that it feels peaceful and quiet, making it a perfect place to take a break for a few minutes on a busy day at the parks. The team members that are at the Disneyland First Aid were amazing. As soon as I walked in, the staff was very welcoming, very professional and were also very helpful with all of my needs. Even though it was a very busy festival time with the Lunar New Year, the venue felt very organized and ran very smoothly! I fell down while getting out of one of the rides and hurt my right knee by mistake! I got a few bandaids at the Disneyland First Aid. It was a great experience for me. Having a First Aid Center in which I can go to receive care from while I am visiting Disneyland is a big help while I spend the day at Disneyland. This place is great. I have been to Disneyland many times and never had to visit first aid until today when I got really bad motion sickness from the rollercoaster ride in DCA. I tried to recover but the popcorn and food smells in the park was getting to me and I was nauseous. All the bathrooms were packed with long waiting lines. The first aid center employees were great. There was an EMT and a RN. They asked me a few questions, gave me some generic Dramamine and let me lie down in this quiet cold room. After about 45 minutes I felt a lot better and checked out. I'm so glad Disney has this place or I would have probably had an embarrassing public "incident" read more

My son busted his lip open while riding on Pirates of Caribbean! The boat stopped abruptly and my son lunged forward and hit the wood in front of him. He cut his lips really deep with his teeth and the lip bled a lot. We didn't have any choice but to finish the ride while my son was screaming and crying from the pain. His lip kept on bleeding so we rushed over to first aid which was located at the Main Street behind the corndog stand. The staff were there ready to help. They immediately took him to a room to examine his lip. Luckily it wasn't deep enough to require stitches. However he was still in discomfort. So they did give him Tylenol to calm him down and reduce his lip pain. They also gave us ice packs so we can apply on his lip to reduce the swelling. The nurses were very professional and took care of us. My husband was wanted to leave Disneyland and rush him to the urgent care. But I wanted to give the first Aid a shot since we were here and I was just desperate to getting my son seen. I'm afraid that I may have had too much candy for breakfast. Or maybe a heart issue.... But at the park on March 6th, all of a sudden I felt dizzy, ill, and just about to pass out. Marie (I think her name was Marie - though I'm really embarrased that I may not have remembered correctly) came with a wheelchair and took me to the medical center, checked BP (way too high), ozygen, etc. I haven't had that kind of sudden medical issue before, and she could not have been kinder in any way! Ultimately, we had to call the medics, who took an ekg, etc. Once ready to leave, she gave me some good instructions for the next few days, and suggested a check up when I got home. She - and everyone at the center were just wonderful. So "You" are now a part of my memories of our first Disneyland tripw with our granddaughter. My son got 5 splinters in his hand (While we were having ice cream on the Pier). He fell backwards and put out his hand to catch himself. At an early age he was diagnosed with Autism. It's behavioral more than it is cognitive (for him). So at times people judge me and him when I tell them his diagnosis. They dont understand because he's very intelligent. But I know my son, I can see his behavior beginning switch. He will just begin biting, getting snappy, start hitting and throwing things. When he's in stimulating environments like amusement parks and gets too agitated. He was doing ok but after he hurt his self things got overwhelming for him. When at the First Aid office (yesterday) they treated me like if I was making things up. They kept Frowning their eyebrows, and using a condescending tone. They really didn't help at ALL! They gave me a pair of tweezers and when I couldn't remove all the splinters I asked if I could keep them. She said they were going to sterilize them and use them again. They really did not do much of anything. I could tell my son was beginning to calm down just by being in the room however. As I was charging my phone (trying to finish a video chat with one of their reps) he saw the latex gloves on the counter. He put some on and as we were leaving they demanded that he had to take them off. He screamed " nooo then everyone's going to see my bandaids!" I was just blown away because they really treated us as if we were just there to get free products from them or something. Instead of thinking about the comfort of my son. What were you going to sterilize the latex gloves and re-use them to? What's the policy since it was such a big deal? read more

You can always count on the patience and professionalism of the Disney Crew Members to take care of you and be polite in any situation. I came in for bandaids due to fifteen hours of walking through the park. They gave me a variety of bandaids to help my aching feet. Not only that, but they amused me while I told the long and boring tale of my birthday adventure. There are key words and subtle codes among staff when people overstay their welcome. I'm sorry to say that I was one of those chatterboxes that caused a grab for the alert button. I'm harmless and just talked too much after a fun birthday with lots of wine. Saturday was rainy, and as we were exiting the train I slipped on the steps and fell down a couple, hitting my back and arm. The railroad staff were helpful, asking if they could have someone come get me from First Aid, but my husband and I decided to just walk there ourselves; when we confessed we didn't know where it was, we were escorted by an off duty park staff member and his girlfriend. I'm sorry I didn't get his name but he did say he works on Incredicoaster (thank you, if you ever this!!) I was immediately taken into the back where Bonnie checked me out, gave me ice packs, and even gave me extra bags and disposable towels so I could get more ice at our hotel later! I'm still sore and a little bruised, but Bonnie's kindness, as well as our off duty staff hero, made this little blip in our day just that! Thanks Bonnie for taking such good care of me!! I was at Disneyland recently and I couldn't stop sneezing. I had forgotten to take my allergy medication. I was feeling pretty miserable when my friend mentioned that I might be able to buy some at one of the gift shops. Sure, that's a thought. But then I remembered that Disneyland has a First Aid station. "Let's go there." I said. We made our way over by the Plaza Inn next to the baby center and walked into First Aid. There were 3 people behind the counter and a short line. I was immediately asked if I had been helped. I explained that I had forgotten to take my allergy medication and was sneezing a lot. I asked if they had generic Claritin (loratadine) and the nurse said they did. All I had to do was log-in my name and signature on their clipboard. She handed me the Loratadine pill. I tore open the package, stuffed it in my mouth and took a swig of water from the water fountain. Thank you Disneyland First Aid for saving me from an afternoon of sneezing and unpleasantness! I was really grateful. I still am! They also have EpiPens available if your child has an allergic reaction. They have plenty of bandages, pain killers, and nurse's advice for you if needed. Just stop on in and let them know what you need. They might have it. If anything, it's a cool place for you to rest your legs before heading out again. read more

Well I thought I'd never visit this place in Disneyland but tonight I did I took a fall climbing out of the Autopia car and ate the concrete it's more embarrassing than anything. I just needed a few bandaids for some tiny abrasions that were starting to bleed. So went in and asked the RN had me come in and she cleaned up my elbow which had some road burn. My left palm had a tiny abrasions that needed a bandaid and my right thumb had a tiny cut that started bleeding so she took care of all them. She took down all my info and asked a few questions. She was very thorough which I understand because of people who are sue happy etc. she was also making sure I was ok asking if I needed an ice pack or aspirin or anything else she doubled and tripled check with me she was on top of everything I really appreciate that. She definitely knows here job and I'm glad Disneyland has this. There are a few rooms in this place I saw one room with about 5 beds. It's almost like a real doctors office in there. Overall if you need any kind of medical assistance I highly recommend you go there it will definitely help. read more

Awesome! My daughter started getting a rash on her face. After visiting all the stores that were listed as having medicine and asking for hydrocortisone cream, we were finally directed to the First Aid center. With low expectations, we entered and were greeted by 3 people behind the counter. I asked if they had any hydrocortisone and they asked what the issue was. I showed them my daughter's face and they asked if we had tried Vaseline. We said yes. They then asked if there were any allergies to which we responded no. She then reached behind the counter and gave us a single use packet of hydrocortisone. My wife said "okay guys we need to wash our hands first" and the woman offered their bathroom for our use. It had a hospital bed in it, and after a half day at Disney I was tempted to take a quick nap. read more

I never knew this about Disneyland until I became an exclusively breast pumping mom for my 3rd son. You can store your pump parts here but not milk, which will make your backpack or stroller much lighter. You take it to the front. You fill out paperwork and disclose what you have in there. They will inspect your bag and put it away. Sign it out when you need it and when you go home. I have also used one of their treatment rooms to pump when I'm with my kid because the baby would be in his stroller and my 2 other boys would be playing on my phone. Even though there is a pumping station at the baby center (next door to the First Aid) I cannot bring my stroller and other kids in the pumping room due to space. Another great thing about the first aid center is that there is a place to change soiled briefs for those that have special needs... I wish more places would provide a changing area for adults. Its located in their restroom. It looks like a bed, but it's a changing table. You can also lay down here if you are not ki feeling well. They have medications for your headaches to allergies. If your kid is running a fever.... They also have acetaminophen and ibuprofen here... And it's free. (As of 1/2017). And of course basic first aids.... BTW: Nurses here are RNs (Real Nurses) registered nurse. Another reason to love DisneyLand!!! read more

My husband and I were at Disneyland this weekend when he started feeling extremely ill due to low blood sugar and mild dehydration. We rushed to the First Aid building and were greeted by a couple of lovely ladies who took my husband to the back area where about 9 or 10 little cots were lined up along the walls, complete with pillows. They took his blood pressure, got him some water, tested his blood and even got him a cool compress for his head. While he was resting, I sat next to him in a little companion chair, and proceeded to scroll through Facebook. About 10 minutes went by and a little girl of about 5 or 6 years old came in with her mom. She was clearly not feeling well and very upset about having to miss the fun of Disneyland. A few moments later, her Dad showed up too. All of a sudden, Minnie Mouse and her trusty assistant showed up and greeted the little girl. That in of itself was super awesome. But what really made it a magical experience to watch was the fact that the Minnie character sat with this little girl for about 20 minutes and colored pictures with her and cuddled with her. Disneyland is a magical place. My husband and I are Annual Passport holders and even after being there many many times, you still feel the magic the second you walk in the front gates. Being able to witness this once in a lifetime experience for a little girl and her family was truly an honor. read more

Believe it or not I have had many occasions to stop by the Disneyland First Aid room...not me in particular but my friends and relatives have spent some quality time here. It seems like someone I know is always twisting their ankles at Disneyland. Sounds crazy but when there are thousands of people sometimes the people you are hanging out with tend not to look down while they are walking. The first aid room is located to the right of Main Street as you are walking in the park...just in between the place where you see your pictures from Photo Pass and where the Little Red Wagon with the corn dogs is. You don't really notice it being there until you need it. I guess that could be a good thing. Disneyland has real life registered nurses staffing the First Aid station when ever it is open. They wont provide you with much more than ibuprofen or a cold compress for your ankle but they have always been very professional and helpful when my friends had issues. (Yes, they all seem to have issues.) With all the problems and issues that they deal with on a regular basis it is really nice to know that they are here...I have even heard that on occasion when a small child will get hurt sometimes Mickey will stop by and say hello. Yesterday, 3/22/2022, while waiting in line to ride "It's a Small World", I suffered a seizure. I was able to get out of line, with the help of my friend and my seizure service dog. The First Aid Staff was amazing. I wasn't very lucid in the beginning but they took great care of me and after a few hours in a wheelchair (provided by Disney) I was back to normal. so we were staying at the Grand Californian for spring break...spending more time in the pool rather than in the parks. Well the pool was loaded with chemicals and my kids eyes were burning...so when we were in the park, my kids kept complaining so we swung by the first aid building....they had a bottle of eye wash...put us in a private room (it was a real medical office room...like my own doctor's)...we took care of the kids and they let us keep the entire bottle for the rest of our trip! yay..now it's in our travel bag for all our weekend trips away... thanks DL for caring for us =) oh ya...no charge for anything..even better. read more

My 6 year old son was under the weather during our recent trip and spiked a fever. I tossed him on my shoulders and we walked over to the first aid office because Disneyland doesn't sell Tylenol for some reason that I can't seem to find the answer. Had a scrape that I wanted to get cleaned after accidentally getting sunscreen on it. I walked in, they had me sign in on a clipboard and I told the lady at the front desk my issue. She gave me a sanitizing cloth meant for wounds and a generously sized bandaid for protection and I was on my way. Nice and fast service. Good to know this First Aid station is here. After ALL of these years, I paid my first visit to the Disneyland First Aid after I completed the 2012 Disneyland Half Marathon during Labor Day Weekend. Went to the parks to celebrate later that day after the race and my ankle was killing me. Went to First Aid to check if they can wrap my ankle. Sadly, they don't offer that. However, they did offer me tylenol and an ice pack for my ankle. They gave me an ice pack and a little mesh wrap thingy. It basically went around my ankle to hold the ice pack in place so I wouldn't have to hold it with my hand. They let me rest on one of their benches and prop my leg up. One of my friends and her daughter was with me. They offered a book to them to read and pass the time as I gave my ankle a rest and had my leg propped up for about 20 minutes. Super nice registered nurses that work there. Visit First Aid and they will give you pain reliever for free. You just need to sign their check in list and that's it. Too many Disney guests are unaware of the First Aid center just off of Main Street. It's a bright, quiet urgent care clinic equivalent with a rotating staff of friendly nurses who are able to help with more than the occasional kid's scrape or blister. First Aid does offer medications for cases like upset tummies or headaches but they can't administer anything prescription without a physician order. Anyone with serious injuries or in need of major treatment will be sent to a nearby hospital (Disney also has its own ambulance and EMT team on the grounds) but minor cases can be cared for on site. Personally, I received treatment for a foot injury here that may have caused me to leave the park otherwise. It was wonderful to not be forced to abandon my vacation plans to find relief. Other services offered here include refrigerated storage for any special medications or necessary dietary supplies and support for diabetics. I also know of a mother who brought her young child here after he fell into water on a freezing cold day: they sent his soaking wet clothes down to the costume department to be dried and gave him an outfit to wear in the meantime. And, of course, they offer band-aids for blisters and scrapes. Anyone with an infant to care for may also appreciate the Baby Care center right next door. read more

i have to start off this review by thanking those yelpers who reviewed first aid ahead of my review. before my recent trip to disneyland i checked out reviews so i was aware of things to do and i came across this one. i found it very helpful what with over a dozen trips to the park i have never needed it or really knew of it. i had heard the corn dog cart was located in front of the building so i definitely knew where that was for sure. for our recent trip to disneyland resort my mom rented a motorized scooter to help her get around the park since she had a bum leg. this would prove really helpful for her to get around as well as get the rest of us right onto many rides and avoiding the long lines. this would also pose as a problem to my dad's foot. while waiting in line on autopia my mom had to back up her scooter but unaware my dad was behind her and ran the wheel right over his foot. he immediately jumped up in pain and the looks on the faces were priceless. you would think someone had just died. i think it scared everyone around. we continued through the line as my dad limped in pain and a cast member came over to see if he was ok. he was a trooper and told him everything was ok. we decided after the ride we would go to first aid to get it check out to make sure everything was ok. after the ride we headed over to main street and to the first aid. like i said in front is the corn dog cart so we just had to get a corn dog before checking on the foot. yes these corn dogs are that good. once inside they took him into a room to look over his foot. the nurse was very friendly and so very knowledgeable. my dad has type 2 diabetes so it was good we got things looked at. turns out it was mainly his toe and it was bruised slightly. the nurse said things looked good and that my dad has some of the softest feet she has seen. she worked in a diabetes ward so she was very helpful. they gave him a tylenol and an ice pack and he limped on to more disneyland fun. throughout the day he limped on and had minor pain so i went back and got more tylenol. they were very cautious about me coming in for this. they don't want just anyone coming in and taking advantage of this. they had a list of previous patients and i had to sign in to get it but it was worth it. i have to say i am very impressed with the disneyland first aid station. the people here should get more props. they are the backbone of disneyland and the heroes we never hear about. i just hope i never have to see you guys again! read more

I've just had one experience with this place. My friend (he shall remain anonymous since he is a wimp) hurt his finger on the Buzz Light Year ride. Yes, that ride that you sit in the car moving 5 miles an hour shooting lasers with a plastic gun. Since he (UCLA college student, mind you) was crying about his small scratch, we went to first aid. Not only did they give him a bandaid, but they gave him a FRONT OF THE LINE PASS for his WHOLE GROUP OF FRIENDS! For a scratch of his finger on Buzz Light Year. And since it was 90 degrees that day, we went straight to Splash Mountain and enjoyed our gift from Disneyland first aid. Ok, so this might seem unfair, but as far as customer service goes, they rock! read more

This place is amazing! I normally remember *everything* I may need when I go to Disneyland--expecially if I go for the whole day...like I did yesterday for my mom's Birthday because you never know what you may need. Stupid me, I forgot Tylenol. And after spending 10+ hours at the park, I needed some relief from my massive headache I had got from the crowded park, the noisy kids, and just from being tired. Walked in to the First Aid place...asked if I could get 2 Tylenol. They just needed a picture ID proving that I was over 18 (duh!) and I had to sign a paper that I couldn't come back for more Tylenol (if I needed it) unless 4-6 hours had passed. Sounds good to me...received my 2 Tylenol and off I went. 30 minutes later my headache was gone and I was a happy camper! Yay to Disneyland First Aid! read more

Seriously, have never had such great care from a first aid station at a theme park. And of course, Disney is behind such great service. One of my eyes was all red and ugly looking so I ventured off to the first aid station and asked for advice. They set me up inside a room with some saline since I was wearing contacts and let me do my thing. They even gave me a little pill bottle with Tinkerbell stickers on it to store my contact while I went back to my hotel. The nurses on staff were so friendly and helpful. I guess I would be happy to if I was working at Disneyland (I wonder if they too are called cast members and not nurses.....). And of course, their scrubs were Disney scrubs (like all mine are too!!). I wish I had known of this place earlier, I had a headache on my first day of the trip and could have used some Tylenol..... read more

I went in for nausea and stayed from around 12-2pm for the first visit. Unfortunately, the whole Disney day was me in first aid center for the whole Disney trip. First I asked what the nurse recommends for my nausea/burping since I took two Dramamine pills and still didn't feel good. She told me to get sprite and I took two sips and felt even worse, so I had to go back to first aid. I asked another nurse for room temperature water and she told me to go get some from the stand outside. I could not go out to get the water because I knew I'd over heat in the sun, and I didn't want to throw up outside. I decided to settle with cooled fountain water which the nurse said it'd get warmer. It never did. The water temperature made me want to throw up because my body couldn't handle cold water at the time, but I knew I was dehydrated so I had to warm up the water but swishing it in my mouth. Another patient came in with severe abdominal pain and wanted hot water but the nurse said they didn't have any. I felt bad for the guy because he was moaning loudly in pain. After getting rest, I left to get food. However, I had to go back to another first aid center because I was nauseous again and couldn't down food or water. I stayed from 3:30 to 6:00pm. The bright side is, at Cali adventure's first aid, they had curtain dividers so I could get some privacy. Overall, I hope Disney improves its first aid. At least get something to heat up the water for the patient. read more

This review is LONG overdue...but it just shows how even when you get hurt, Disneyland is still the happiest place on earth. When I was 8, I was waiting with my dad for the tram to take us to the parking lot. I was sitting on metal rail that surrounded the trees. Since I was so little, my feet could not touch the ground (and I'm really clumsy), I fell forward and landed face first into the ground. I had a bloody lip and an injured nose. Someone must have informed the first aid ladies that I was injured, because 10 minutes later a nurse came over to me and cleaned up my "boo-boos" and also gave me some stickers, pins, and a Minnie Mouse coin purse (SCORE)!!!! I will admit, it pains me (no pun intended) to give a negative review to ANYTHING Disney. But alas, here we are... I had the wonderful misfortune to experince a new side of Disneyland on my last trip (the First Aid backroom). I have been a season pass holder for 4 years, and made multiple day/weekend/week long trips to the DLR. Last trip, I stepped off a curb wrong (my fault) and VERY SEVERELY sprained my ankle. Luckily, it was right next the the first aid building. I had been to the building before for water, and people were very nice. Maybe I hit it on a bad night. I hobbled in, leaning on my poor mom. The guy behind the counter (his badge said he was an RN) was less than helpful. He kind of just looked at us as if we would tell him what to do. He finally gave me a very small dose of advil (no worries, they have liability issues, can't be drugging-up their guests), and just watched me trying to hop around on one foot. He finally said I should go to one of the cots in the back, and then simply watched as I used my mom as a crutch, since my ankle had swollen to the point that I could not put weight on it. Long story short, he appeared once, 15 minutes after we had asked for ice, and then never returned to check on us. I would think an RN might ask a few questions, look at the injury, suggest hospitals nearby, etc. But he totally ignored us. He was unhelpful when we asked about wheelchairs (my mom had to go outside of the park and speak with someone), and did not even have Ace bandages to help stablize my ankle. I ended up spending the weekend in a wheelchair (thanks to a helpful girl at the rental area), and no- I didn't enjoy "getting to the front of the lines" as some friends suggested. I could not put any weight on my ankle, and so tranferring to ride vehicles proved near impossible. But anyway, we were very disappointed by the lack of care at first aid. I know they can't diagnose anything, but you'd think they could at least wrap an injury, ask how it happened, suggest treatment/facilities/pharmacies to BUY an ace bandage...but no. We were left alone on a cot. I don't usually complain, but this was very disappointing. I hope it was just a bad night. read more

My first visit to Disneyland after 10 years and this is where I land on the first day. Knowing that I have a pinched nerve in my neck, I went on this 8 hour drive anyway with friends - the ride down was miserable and after walking around disneyland for no more than 30 min. I told my friends I need to go back to the hotel and lie down. A Disney worker nearby said go to First Aid and they will give you ibuprofin. We get there and I told the nurse what was wrong with me and she said would you like an ice pack too? And would you like to lie down, we have cots in the back? I said yes to both!! That is just what I needed. So I told my friends just let me stay here in Disneyland "Hospital" and you go out and enjoy yourselves and check on me later. And the best part is, the next morning when we were walking to the Disneyland entrance, the nurse who checked me in the previous day was in line behind me at the fare gates she saw me and said, "Good morning David how are you feeling today"? I think many people are unaware about this mini Disney Clinic, I certainly was after checking around where to get something for the most painful headache and googling if Disneyland sold advil :( Being at the happiest place on earth and having a headache is HORRIBLE. I'm so glad I found this place, you can also find it on the Disneyland map, it's marked with a plus sign in blue and right off of main st in a little corner. They offered me aspirin, ibuprofen, and some other weird name drug. LOL I got ibuprofen and guess what, IT"S FREE. Well for the first time I believe is what she said. In just a matter of an hour or so my headache was gone, and I was able to enjoy the rest of the night pain free!! :) read more

Disneyland First Aid station is just what you'd expect from Disney...first class service. Special mention to NURSE LOU for her outstanding care. While in DCA I jumped up and landed on top of my son's foot. After hearing the loud "pop", down I went. Help came and I had ice on my ankle within minutes. Shortly after nurse Lou came over with a wheel chair and off to first aid I went. She dispensed some Advil for pain and had my foot iced and elevated. What a gem! I've been to Disneyland countless times, and never knew about the services you could get here. Let's just say... i was feeling a little queesy from the cute little Mickey-shaped beignets at the Mint Julep bar. (They were super good, but probably not best on an empty stomach in the morning.) I just needed some antacids or pepto, and the info booth lady pointed us to here. Once inside, you are truly helped and lovingly cared for by Registered Disney Nurses! :) The lady I spoke with was so sweet and nice, seriously - -just like Cinderella's Fairy Godmother. (For real!!) She lovingly gave me some super strong antacids, and just as she had said - - in 20 minutes I was good to go again. Thank you Disney for offering this type of first-class service to your customers!! read more

01-05-2011 I never thought I'd have to come here...but after hitting my leg on Big Thunder and acquiring a huge bruise on my leg, I had a bit of trouble walking. I felt so stupid! But the people at Disneyland made sure I made it to the First Aid station. I felt well taken care of by the nurses here. I iced for about an hour and had some Ibuprofen. I was lucky to be able to rest-up here before my drive home. Don't hesitate to come here if your hurt or just feeling under the weather. read more
