The only reason I chose to go to "Concentra," is because I had a wonderful experience a few years ago when it was a US Healthworks. Well, front staff was nice, gentleman who took my vitals was very helpful & courteous, the doctor; epic fail! He did a substandard examination; I reiterated at least three times how being sick aggrevates my asthma. He did NOT listen to my lungs, did NOT check my inflamed gland in throat, only checked my ears, & tongue. This all transpired Monday, March 4th, because I stil felt like death warmed over I went to St. Joseph Friday, March 8, 2019. Dr. Taylor confirmed I had a sinus infection; prescribed me a ZPak, two inhalers & non-codeine cough medicine. That's because he clearly takes his hipocratic oath seriously. Was required to have a blood draw and provide a urine sample as part of a new hire process and they booked me through Concentra. Originally I was sent to one in Orange and that one was horrendous. Ended up leaving and calling to see what I could do and they said I could go to a different location and found this one. Fernando told me to come by and he was excellent. I came here 2 days ago to get a physical and a TB test done for a new job. I needed a hearing test, vision test, TB, vitals, and a lumbar x Ray. Just for those things I was here for TWO AND A HALF HOURS. Not because those things take long. But because they made me wait a minimum of 30-45 minutes between each thing they had me do. For no reason. I got there at 1pm and left at 3:30pm. It wasn't even that busy so I have no idea why they made me wait so long and so much in between each thing. My guess is they were taking a lunch break and/or just taking their sweet time doing everything. I'm back here today to get a TB test reading, and I've already been waiting half an hour. Just for them to look at my damn arm and write down if it's a positive or negative test. Seriously? This is ridiculous. I've never been at any urgent care or hospital this long for anything, especially not a physical. I recommend going somewhere else. read more

Been going here for some rehab. Dexter and the guys in physical therapy are great. They torture you, but the pain is to get you better. Dr. Espinoza is one of the coolest doctors I've ever met. Probably one of the best and quickest experiences I've had with a walk in clinic. Facility was well maintained. The staff was super friendly. The only reason why I come here is because this is the only location my acupuncturist comes too. Dr. Robin is great at what she does. She's been doing it for 20 some odd years. My primary issue is with the front desk people. They literally are the worst. The first time I came here it took them 45 minutes to check me out, and my 2nd visit it took an hour to check me in. Their front desk "nurses" all need to be retrained on their guest interactions and their job since they constantly don't know how to tell a patient what's going on, and are continuously mix up files, or they need to be replaced with a crew that is sufficient in these basic qualifications of a front desk personal. Had to get a physical exam today. I have to say that this is one of the best staffs that I've had! They all have smiles, and make you feel comfortable! I had Fernando, and he was great ! I don't know where all the negativite reviews are coming from. I have been to this center two times for a work related injury and they have been nothing but caring professionals! My first visit they TOLD me the goal was to have me in and out in two hours so I was aware of the timeline. I was done in 1 hour 45 minutes. The nurse that first helped me was so sweet and caring, he did my X rays and really made me feel comfortable. The Doctor came in and was very thorough and professional. My second visit the nurse was just as nice and super easy to talk to. I saw a different Doctor who was very professional as well . Next step was physical therapy and they spent over an hour with me, they were very caring and professional. I am on my way to feeling much better thanks to them! My issue with this place is the way that one of their staff treated me. Her name is Vanessa and based on what i gathered, she is one of their techs. She called me out from my room for an eye check. Her demeanor was that of someone who was completely pissed off that she had to do something with a patient. Her manner of asking questions sounded more like a command each time. when i went back to the room, someone else came in and said he had to do my blood glucose check. I politely asked if i could refuse that and just wait instead for everything else to be done via lab draw. He stepped out and in came the same woman, Vanessa. Immediately, her tone was demanding. I told her the same, that as much as possible i didn't want accucheck done. She insisted it was not painful and even insulted me by saying "anyone who works in a medical field should know its not painful." Number one, i never mentioned i work at a medical field. She just gathered that idea because i was wearing scrubs. Number two, anyone in medical field should know that pain is subjective and should not be taken lightly. So i said if you insist it's what needs to be done, go ahead. Then she made a comment that she's not insisting and that shes not holding or forcing me. No one said she was forcing me. Clearly, this woman doesn't have the heart to be working with patients who are there in the first place because they're experiencing something unpleasant. I told the PA about her behavior and also informed the manager. I just dont believe anything will be done. Again, her name is Vanessa and she just made my night worse. read more

Alexis and the rest of the staff there were amazing and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process, the girls at the front desk were super polite and helpful. The doctor was super cool got me in and out for my visit even though they told me the whole process was going to take about two hours which it didn't it took them about an hour or less. Why can I not find a decent doc-in-the-box in Orange County? Just had to visit this clinic a couple of weeks ago for what I thought was either the flu or a sinus infection. Let me tell you what I expected due to years of visiting urgent care centers: I arrive just after they open. The receptionist takes my info, gets a copy of my insurance and ID and I pay my copay. I'm seen fairly quickly first by a nurse then a doctor. They ask the usual questions, listen to me breathe, feel my swollen glands, look at my ears and throat, press on my sinuses. Take my temp, and if I have one do a flu test. Write appropriate scrips, maybe get a shot to help boost my immune system and send me on my way. This is what happened: I arrived just after they opened and I'm already fourth in line. The receptionist does what I expect and is friendly. I'm put in a room fairly quickly, and then visited by the nurse. He does his usual duties, and I have a temp (granted not much of one, but I'm a more cold-blooded creature than most. 99 is a full blown fever for me). And then the wackiness begins: The doctor comes in a while later and asks me what's wrong. (This always annoys the hell out of me, because didn't I just tell the nurse this so I didn't have to tell you?) He listens to me breathe. He presses on my sinuses. Never asks about mucous which I find odd. Feels the WRONG glands...umm?? And then comes to the conclusion that he doesn't know what's wrong with me. But since I've recently acquire allergies it must be that. He proceeds to give me not prescriptions but advice: drink fluids, rest, take tylenol if i have a fever, afrin if needed. I look at him like he's crazy. I don't pay $35 to have him tell me to keep doing what I'm doing. And I can't rest, and I have to fly out the next day for a wedding, so how is this supposed to help? He offers to write me a scrip if I really want one. No, I don't just want you to write a scrip, if it's a) for the wrong thing and b) won't help. I ask if he's sure it's not the flu. (The last time I flew they wouldn't let you on a plane if you were contagious.) No he's not sure. I tell him to give me a flu test. He says okay, but do I have insurance. (Umm, yes, that's why you have a copy of my card!) Then I ask if he'll give me an antiviral if it's the flu. Again he looks at me like I'm crazy, and says he doesn't see why since it would only cut my suffering down by a day. He then tells me that the flu test will be a q-tip like thing to the back of my throat. My turn to look at him like he's full-tilt bozo. (If you haven't had a flu test before, it's pretty memorable. It's a giant q-tip that goes up your nose and feels like it's taking a culture of your brain. So I guess he was talking about a strep test?) Okay, nurse comes in, gives me the test. And then I have a gallbladder attack. Greaaaat. I have these from time to time, but have waiting for one to happen when I can go to the hospital and get them to see it while it's happening. By this point, I've decided I'm not sure this guy is really a doctor. He's sure as hell not going to help the gallbladder issue. But the pain is so bad I curl up in a fetal position and just whimper for about ten minutes. During this time SEVERAL employees pass by the room (with the door open) and don't bother to ask if I'm dying. The attack passes. Doc comes back to tell me flu test is negative and go home. I say not without a antibiotic. So 2.5 hours later I'm leaving with my scrip, shaking my head at who passes for a doctor in this town. Not only was the whole thing annoying, but also scary when you think about it. Thankfully my mother worked in hospitals, and I've been sick enough to know what to do if your doctor is a moron. This guy and others like him are the reason this latest flu turned into pandemic, and antibiotics are becoming less and less effective. I hope he's never treated anyone with something serious, because he probably would've sent them home with a hot water bottle. Avoid. At all costs! read more

Some how I needed to use Concentra services and even though my case was difficult for the paper work that was required, the both girls with their name "Leisly" helped me and make my experience so much easier and complete... office is clean , parking available at all the times, friendly staff, coffee and water available at the lobby for your convenience. I have been receiving physical therapy on my shoulder for three weeks. Josh, working under the guidance of Dr Ryan, is dedicated and genuinely concerned with improving my condition. Every visit starts with Josh asking me about my condition; How are you feeling? Do you have more flexibility? Are you doing the exercises at home? Healing can be a slow process, but he doesn't let me get discouraged. He is attentive and quick to point out when my posture needs to be corrected as I perform the exercises. He is a great coach. I leave there after a hour of PT feeling like I have had a real workout. An opportunity for improvement would be to improve the atmosphere of the room. The room is small, and if there are more than a few patients receiving PT, it can feel a bit cramped. I larger, brighter, more functional layout would really improve the patient experience. read more

The only reason I gave this place a one star is because you cannot write a review without one. DO NOT EVER come to this sad excuse of an "urgency care" it is anything put. The front desk woman Denise made my father, who was coming in for a drug screening on what we thought was an allergic reaction, wait 2 hours to see the doctor then forgot to inform use that we needed to fill out paper work, we then proceeded to wait another hour before we got to see the actually doctor himself no one inform my father and I that he was with another patience what so ever. Dr Espinoza then walked into basically made my father and I feel incompetent when we realized it was psoriasis and asked her to see our primary care doctor and walked out. Very sad excuse for a medical center and would and not recommended giving your time and money to these people. read more

I came for a drug screening for work and even though is it a fairly less complicated process than most of the people that come here for I have to say it was a pleasant experience. I showed up without an appointment, they had me fill out a couple of very short forms and I was in and out of there within 20min. Tim was very professional and nice to deal with, the receptionist was very attentive and on her game. I came to this place after I had attempted to get the test at 3 different LabCorp locations which was a nightmare to deal with but that's for a different review. I hate this place! I dislocated my knee cap at work a few days ago... they moved me to about 3 different rooms while I was there cause they were busy and disorganized and was there for almost 3 hours just waiting and in pain. Got sent home with mild anti inflammatory meds and 4 pills of a muscle relaxer to last me till my next appointment which was 5 days later... had a recheck today told the dr the meds they gave me did nothing to ease the pain or swelling then the dr told me I might have possibly torn a ligament since my swelling was still really bad, then I got sent home with no additional meds... I asked the receptionist if I was gonna get more medication since I already ran out she asked the dr and he said I was fine and good to go... how r u gonna tell me I might have a worse off injury than what I originally went in with and not feel it's necessary to prescribe at least some more anti inflammatory meds (which do nothing for my pain) after seeing my knee is still roughly the size of a soft ball!! Then when I call back later to ask what I'm supposed to do for the pain since they didn't give me anything they tell me to go back in and pick up more meds, I can't have anyone pick up the medicine on my behalf I have to personally go all the way back to Anaheim from chino hills to pick up meds I should've been given when I was there earlier this morning!!! read more

Excellent patient care experience! I went here for a physical, hep B shot, TB test and drug test for a position I applied to. I have gone through this process many times in my years as a caregiver, and this location was the fastest, most efficient place I have ever been to. All of the employees that I interacted with were very friendly, warm, and professional. The front desk employee named Fernando was especially great! I was unable to make it to the location to have my test results read, so I called him and he gave me clear instructions on what to do next. He emailed me my necessary forms so that I could go to another location closer to my house, thus saving me a lot of time having to have the TB test administered again. I don't get what all the negative reviews are about. This place seemed legit to me. Front desk was welcoming, and considering I was a walk-in for a drug test and physical, they took me in right away. Waiting room had a tv and complimentary Flavia machine, where you can make your own coffee or tea in like 30 seconds. They also had complimentary water bottles and snacks. The rest of the staff was awesome. Everyone smiled a lot. If I'm ever in need for an Urgent Care center again, I have no problem coming back here again. read more

This place is not an urgent care facility. They are a facility most likely for physical therapy related to workman's comp. I went there at lunch with a pain, and was told $180 just to talk to the doctor, because did not have insurance. I also was advised to go to St.Jude's since they are a REAL urgent care facility, but I was on a bike and in pain and its miles away. I consented to pay the exorbitant fee, but then was given tons of paperwork with more financial detail than medical history requested. I realized that this doctor most likely did not give a damn about their Hippocratic oath and only cared about money. I saw the waiting room swelling and I feared a long wait and more charges after a short palaver with a doctor that did nothing for my condition. I tried to tell staff how I felt but the waiting at the desk was too long so I just left. If I drop dead in the next day or two, i guess you should follow up with this facility. read more
