TRUE MIAMI PLACE. The owner is great, great energy, spirits, and helped pick out the right food. I ordered the conch and shrimp with Mac n chz and collard greens and wings and fries. I wanted the conch fritters but she ran out of batter--which is perfectly fine cause i can't wait to go back and visit! It's definitely a take out spot but we'll worth it. Sorry i forgot to take pictures of the food, I was hungry and it looked and smelled good. 10/10-highly recommended!

I found this spot driving by with both of my managers and as a foodie always looking out for good pop ups in the city, I thought it'd be a good place to check out for lunch. MAN, am I happy we did! As a local, I really enjoyed how there was a sense of history and community right when you walked in. It wasn't filled with tourist, but instead with loyal, local customers. I also loved how the owner, Noreese, was behind the counter greeting everyone who walked in with a huge smile and making sure that each order was sent out with lots of love. The food is AMAZING.. the fish and conch weren't overcooked and the breading was light and actually stayed together. The one thing we wish they had was lemon pepper seasoning. However, this place is definitely a hidden gem worth exploring. I will definitely be coming back to this spot, and I look forward to trying all the amazing food they have!

We just returned from our Carnival Horizon Caribbean cruise and wanted to eat some great tasting conch on our last night in Miami. Thank goodness we found "Conch It Up Soul Food." The owner (wish I had got her name) was so hospitable and accommodating. This was in addition to the great food we enjoyed. They make the best conch, shrimp and wings we had tasted in Miami. All the sides were fabulous from the greens, mac n cheese and rice. This was true Miami style, from all the famous people on the wall in photos to their delicious food and great hospitality. We appreciate all your hard work and look forward to visiting again on our next trip to Miami. Can't forget the great tasting desserts, butter crème cake and sweet potato pie. (Forgot to take a pic) We highly recommend you stop by. We hate the rest of our family won't be able try it since they leave on Monday and your restaurant is closed. They plan to try on their next visit as well!

I had to wait until I ate everything that I bought to sit down and write a sound review. So this morning I awoke knowing that I wanted conch salad today. Of course, I went on Yelp and did search for "conch salad" to see what popped up in my area as the results. I also was determined to try something new instead of going to my favorite go to restaurants. Anywho a bunch of places came up, this being one of them and I read the reviews before making a decision. I took note of the time it opened, what I had to do and planned my day. I figured by the time I get done running the few errands that I needed to, they would be good and open for business...WRONG! One thing about me is that I am a stickler about time, especially MY time. I pulled up, parked at the church and proceeded to walk to the restaurant. *yanks on the door* It's locked. I note the time on the door for Saturday; 11:00am-10:pm. Now keep in mind this is even earlier than what Yelp is reporting as the opening time which is 11:30am. So i sat in my car for bit. Luckily about 15 minutes later a car pulls up and two females get out. I initially thought they were patrons but when they didn't come back, I walked back over to the restaurant and pulled on the door again; still locked. This time one of the young lady's who I saw pull up, came to the door and informed me that they weren't open yet. I then asked what time would they be opened, she replied "the grease have to heat up first." So i say "30-45 minutes?" She replies yes. So I told her that I'd wait. This happened at 12:30. A whole hour after the Yelp reported opening time and an hour and a half after their posted opening time. So I go back to my car and wait. Maybe about 15 minutes later the other female that I witnessed pull up, left. I thought she was perhaps just dropping the other girl off but she came back with some supplies from the store. I later learned, once I finally made it inside, that she was the cook; but we haven't gotten there yet. Now it's just shy of 40 minutes and I call this time instead of walking to the front of the restaurant and ask if they were open. Again I am told no and asked when would they be open. She told me "in a few minutes." Fifty minutes later I was finally able to pull on the door handle and it opened. The place itself is kind of small but that doesn't bother me because I'm never looking to eat in anyway with this type of food; especially since I live so close. They have a bench for people waiting to get their food though. To get the full experience, I ordered the conch salad, fried conch and flop. These were all of the things that people left reviews about that were good and they weren't wrong. Let's talk about the conch and fries. I asked for my conch to fried hard. It wasn't fried hard to my liking but it was fine. It was seasoned to perfection and was plentiful. I even have some left over because I got full. The fries even had some seasoning to it. The flop was great. It wasn't as sweet as someone had claimed it to be but then again maybe I'm that weird person that like my drinks to be sweet. Who knows? Now the conch salad was beyond on point; it was mouth-tastic. One of the best, glad it's close to my house, conch salad's that I have had in awhile. It was already pre-seasoned and while it was close to being too salty for my taste buds, it was still delicious. I hate that they only had the one. I even asked but she said the person wasn't making anymore. So I was sure to take that one. I initially planned to buy two. If I don't come back for nothing else, I coming back for that conch salad. For everything, I spent $23 and it was worth every penny. The 3 stars are primarily for the length of time I had to wait. They either need to do a better job of opening on time or adjust their business hours because between Yelp and their posted hours, it is a little misleading. Next time I come, I will be sure to come well into the afternoon. And a word of advice to you all, don't come so close to their opening time (whichever that is). Give them some time to open and get the grease hot.

    Round 1, yummy conch salad.

I love seafood, but conch is my favorite. I wanted some really good conch salad and someone told me about this soul food restaurant. When I say this restaurant has the VERY BEST conch salad, I really mean it. The conch salad has a Lil kick to it (kind of spicy), has a lot of conch in it with delicious seasonings and fresh onions, green peppers and tomatoes. I went back last night and early today. They have a $5 and $10 cup. They also have other food you can try like fried chicken wings, ribs, fish, chicken souse, fried conch, steak and shrimp. Their sides are fries, Mac and cheese, potato salad and salad. The owners are very pleasant and the restaurant is clean. They cook to order, so it's better to call in your order unless you like to wait while your food is being prepared. They also have delicious lemon cake which is very moist with tasty frosting. I saw red velvet cake and pie as well. p.s., the prices are extremely reasonable and they give you a good amount of food. My family and I will definitely be back soon. I will post my pics of the food and the restaurant for you to view.

Sweet Jesus The food was so good! The fried conch was cooked just right, not overcooked to the point where it was just dusty and not too undercooked to where it was like chewing gum. The macaroni and cheese was itis triggering and seasoned like baked macaroni and cheese should be. I definitely recommend this spot, it may be a little hard to find because it's a hole in the wall but it's deserving of the money. Check it out!

This establishment offers southern style seafood at it's best. My daughter and I ordered the Shrimp, Conch, Fish w/ fries and a drink. It was a lunch special. The portion size was right on point. The food was finger licking good, seasoned to perfection. The owner was very nice and attentive. Their prices are very reasonable in comparison to portion size. I can't not stress the taste enough. It was very refreshing to have seafood seasoned the way it should be. This establishment is indeed a hidden gem. If you don't look closely, you'll definitely miss it. I will definitely be returning when I visit Miami again!! Please stop by and try for yourself!! You will NOT be disappointed!!!

Went for a stewed conch dinner and ended up with more rice chunky tomatoes and large green peppers over half the plate !! Then on top of that I told the young girl at te counter my name and after two times of saying it incorrect she insists that she said my name appropriately like forget what I thought about it lol. $24 plate was not worth it and I've had way better customer service. 1st time experience spending that much for 1 meal I'll be better off elsewhere. Fruit punch was fire asf tho. Super good but that meal nah I wish I could get my money back but I ordered through grub hub never even finished it. I grew up in this neighborhood and my mom owns two houses over here.. They should be ashamed of the girls poor customer service and definitely the stewed conch meal was a 6/10 just imo‍Max n cheese wasn't the real Mac n cheese and looked like some type of pasta shell with cheese on it smh

O-M-G!!! Just thinking about the food my husband and I received when we ordered from this place has my mouth watering. Everytime we go down south to visit my husband's family I always visit Miami because I love the food, whether it be food from the Caribbean islands or just good ole Soul Food, this time did not disappoint. I located this place based on a Yelp search and found that it was in the heart of Miami, not one of the tourist areas, which is always a plus for me. The building is located on a semi-busy street and you have to park on the side of another building and walk a short distance down a sidewalk in order to access the building, but it's totally worth it. It's been a few months now, but I'm sure I ordered a conch fritter, sweet potato pie, french fries and maybe shrimp, it doesn't matter, ALL of it was good. The sweet potato pie was EVERYTHING! I should have ordered 2 slices. The prices were also amazing. We'll definitely come back to this place.

Well, me being the foodie that I am, I was in the mood for some soul/seafood type of meal. I initially visited last Friday, and ordered conch/shrimp and fries. I entered the restaurant and it was pretty much empty, this was my first time coming here and I noticed their quirky picture menu posted on the wall with other signs of lunch and dinner specials there too. The restaurant had a displays full of different flavor cakes and pies. I was in the mood for conch and I made an order of conch and fries with a slice of red velvet cake. I liked the fact that everything is made to order. My meal took an approximately 7-8 minutes to be made, which to my personal opinion is good timing. The set up is to-go orders only, there is really no tables just a seating area to wait for your meal, which is a bummer. I dressed my conch and shrimp with hot sauce, ketchup, mustard, and a drizzle of lemon juice, I wanted some cake and ordered a slice of red velvet cake. My total for my meal was $21.00 with a ($1) charge for using a credit card. When I arrived home, my mouth was really salivating and I was very hungry. My meal was luckily still warm and I began tearing up my meal. The conch very tender and juicy, the shrimps were jumbo and breaded. fries very seasoned and crispy. The meal was on point I couldn't complain. Let's talk about the cake, I'm a serious red velvet fan, and I personally make a killer red velvet myself, but I like to venture out to different restaurants and do a taste tests on cakes. The cake was moist, which is a plus, cream cheese icing was good, the taste was meh, mind you this my personal opinion you can go try it for yourself. It wasn't my tasty to my taste buds. While I was there I had noticed that they had lunch specials on the weekdays from 11am-3pm, it was my day off and I was hungry and I said let's see what lunch is about. I ordered the trio which consisted of fried conch, shrimp, fried fish, fries, and a drink for $7.99 and you can upgrade for a $1 more for a medium fruit punch or lemonade or $2 for a large. My meal arrived made to order and I was very satisfied with the whole ordeal. I highly recommend this restaurant if in the mood for soul food. I still gotta try to come again and have an actual dinner with rice and sides. Come and enjoy if in the city area.

I started with the Stuffies which were amazing! The baked clams were dressed up nicely and these were very tasty. The stone crabs were delicious and I loved the dipping sauce it came with. Granted we visited outside of stone crab season and so I'd love to come back when the crabs are more fresh and in season. It also came with sides of hash browns, creamed spinach, and a grilled tomato. While I appreciate the quantity and variety they gave, these sides were a miss for me. The pre fixe concluded with my choice of the Key Lime Pie which was a nice ending for the meal. Nicely balanced between tart and sweetness. My only note would be for the crust layer to be bigger since it would help balance out the pie portion a bit better. We also got the fried chicken which is a steal for only $9. Excellent and crispy skin and very moist! The only dry piece was the breast unfortunately, but otherwise it's hard to find a better fried chicken at this price.

After reading the consistently strong reviews for Ceviche 105, the decision was easy. Peruvian cuisine is always a good idea--and this one did not disappoint. From the moment I walked in, the restaurant delivered a great overall experience. The atmosphere was lively without being overwhelming, the music added to the energy, and the setting was comfortable and relaxed. Most importantly, the service was attentive, genuine, and professional. The food was the real highlight. The anticuchos were outstanding--well-seasoned, flavorful, and cooked beautifully. The ceviche was a must, and it delivered the bright, fresh flavors you expect from a great Peruvian ceviche. The churrasco also caught my attention and ended up being an excellent choice. Portions were generous across the board, and the pricing felt remarkably reasonable for both the quality and quantity. I chose to sit at the bar, which turned out to be one of the best decisions of the evening. The bartender deserves special recognition. He prepared an excellent Pisco Sour and went above and beyond to accommodate my requests, from customizing my drinks with extra spice to bringing smoked, spicy rocoto to complement my meal. His attention to detail and genuine hospitality made the experience even better. Interestingly, even my Uber driver had something to say about the restaurant when he picked me up. He mentioned that he regularly picks up guests from Ceviche 105 and that they consistently speak very highly of the restaurant. That kind of word-of-mouth says a lot. Ceviche 105 is the kind of restaurant that gets the important things right: quality food, generous portions, fair pricing, a great atmosphere, and hospitality that makes you want to come back. I absolutely recommend it. I'll definitely be returning the next time I'm in Miami--and next time, I'm bringing my coworkers with me.

We used to order minutas for those unfamiliar with the terminology it's a Spanish fried, boneless snapper sandwich. It's on a Cuban type burger roll, with onions and ketchup. I had them to add some lettuce and tomatoes. This sandwich is only $4 and with fries for $5.50, not a bad deal for something that is freshly cooked to order. I also ordered a Coca-Cola. When I bit, into my sandwich, can I say I was salivating, it was so perfectly seasoned and crunchy. The filet was very moist, adding the French fries completing the meal to a perfection. About this whole in the wall, it's been at this location for over thirty years. It's open everyday, except Sundays. On the weekends they sell a seafood type paella which literally sells out, so I recommend you come early. They also sell fresh seafood, (fish, shrimp, lobster, etc.) Hours: Monday thru Friday 8am-6pm Saturday 8am-3pm My favorites and highly recommended, Minuta sandwich fully loaded with fries and fish soup with either noodles or rice. Don't knock it, till you try it.
