I fell in love with this place after my first try. Until one day I ordered and my tacos were not made correctly, I went back to have them remade and STILL they were made incorrectly. I'm not a hard customer to deal with, but when I spend money on food i expect to receive what I paid for, and twice that wasn't what I got. When I called to complain they had the audacity to ask me to come back for the third time.....absolutely not! I don't understand all the people giving this place 5 star reviews. Maybe they've never been to a small family-owned truly authentic Mexican restaurant where the food is actually good. Maybe they don't have taste buds. Maybe they don't mind the staff people dressing so casually you can't believe that's how they are allowed to report to work. What happened to Condado's margaritas?? They changed the recipe, and not for the better. They used to be *so good* and now they taste like fake, overly sweet lemonade, and I'm 99% sure they forgot to put tequila in. Since when does lemon go in margaritas, I thought they were made with lime juice? And everyone in my family was so sick after our dinner. Really disappointed in this change. When we came when they first opened the food was AMAZING! It has really gone down hill, the chips were stale, the chorizo queso isn't good, the tacos weren't made to order and the refried beans were inedible. Tables were left to sit dirty at all times. I have only been here once but my time here was decent. I got a bowl with beans, rice, pulled pork, tomato, lettuce, corn salsa, avocado ranch, and cheese. My only complaint is throughout the meal I'd come across hard pieces of rice. My mom wanted to order a Piña Colada but the waitress said they couldn't make that, but she did say the margaritas are just all batch made, ready to go. The atmosphere is chill and very open. The only other thing I didn't like that was unique to my visit was we were sat in the back near the restrooms and this guy kept pacing back and forth behind me on his phone pretty much the whole time I was eating. I'm not sure if he was a worker or a customer. Employees did walk past him but didn't say anything to him but the place was virtually empty and they could have told him to go elsewhere or something as it's annoying to have someone that close to you looking at you the whole time and him being that close to the restroom on his phone for a long while gives off weird vibes. read more

We have been enjoying Condado Tacos since before the pandemic. Their service has always been very good and through all the challenges continues to excel our expectations. We enjoy sitting outside, weather permitting, but find inside just as enjoyable. We especially like the pineapple quac and Mexican sweet corn dips and chips washed down with a Negro Modela. Build your own tacos or bowls. Their rewards program is nice also. read more

Went to Condado for the first time on Thursday July 1st and we were super impressed. Everyone we talked to was extremely friendly, and had a totally chill vibe, but they were definitely taking care of people. We had a short wait but once we were seated, our server Maddison made great suggestions and explained how the menu worked, and checked back often even though they were busy. Everything we tried was fantastic! I'm definitely looking forward to going again soon and trying some margaritas. read more

COVID measures were handled very well and you could put yourself on a waitlist which was accurate and convenient. The tacos and bowls were tasty but the drinks were watered down. This is definitely a younger crowd- young customers and staff. Our server was nice but the service was frustrating- our appetizer was forgotten, drinks took a long time, sides were forgotten with main meal, our split bill was wrong, we were rushed at the end, etc. It didn't appear to be that busy (capacity was limited due to COVID) so we were not sure where our server was. Hopefully, the service will improve here as the concept is unique and a great addition to the restaurants of Strongsville. read more

This is an amazing place to eat. You get you bank for your money and you eat well. I visited with a friend and there tortilla chips is the best I have ever tasted. Their margaritas are The best get the frozen ones. I ordered the BYO bowl and it was delicious. I had food itis after. This was fun! Good location in Strongsville, with ample parking. We waitlisted ourselves online, and were seated as soon as we arrived. Servers were great, they explained the menu well. Friendly and helpful, checked in often, which was good as we had 3 kids with us. We were seated in a table for 6, between wooden dividers. There wvere also tall stool/tables available, more than 6' apart, but without dividers. Waitstaff all wore masks. I saw the hostess actively cleaning acrylic dividers, at the bar area, between customers. The music was loud, so people had to elevate their voices to be heard over it. Being in the divided tables area helped, but the restaurant is a noisy one. 5 different cheese dips available to go with their homemade chips (not free, but reasonably priced). Food excellent. They have many tacos in their menu, or you can build your own. Many different shells/tortillas, proteins, veggies, sauces, etc to choose from. We will go again, although we'll definitely request the table area so that we can hear each other. read more

Had lunch with my son. We enjoyed our tacos very much, chips and salsa were great. Lots of parking right outside the door. Giving 4 stars ( more like 3.5) for service. Our waitress did the bare minimum. Never once checked on us, no offers for refills, she brought the check and placed it directly of the chips I was eating. As my son said, her smile was 'fake'. 1. i am not a huge fan of tacos. my wife likes them. 2. i really don't like Yelp's 5 Star system. for me, 5 stars is something extraordinary. 4 is great. 3 is good to darned good... etc. so, that said, i would prefer to have given a 3 star review, but i think that Condado is better than "OK". in fact, i thought it was pretty darned good. Danielle had 2 tacos - one was the Blue Dream and the other was one she built herself. she liked both but really liked the Blue Dream the best. I had a bowl - which i built. i went simple: rice, beans, Tex-Mex ground beef, queso fresco, jicama + cabbage slaw and a side of Condado secret sauce. it was very good. the secret sauce was actually hot, too, which is unusual. in fact, i should have added sour cream to cool it down a bit. we'd also ordered a Three Buds samper w/ traditional guac, elote queso and pineapple salsa. all really good though maybe a bit too much for the amount of chips. they'll give you more chips but you really only need a bit more for what's left of the salsa, etc. i made a point to let Danielle i'd be willing to go back. it's not something i do for most taco/Mexican places. read more

Went in with my boyfriend on a Sunday afternoon after running a few errands nearby. We were seated at the bar and ordered a couple beers and margaritas. The margarita was pretty disappointing. I asked for muddled jalapeños in hopes of creating more of a spicy margarita, but the pre mix was overwhelmingly sweet. We ordered chips and queso to snack on, which was average. Bartenders were quick to offer refills but weren't the most social. All in all, an OK experience. We've ordered to go tacos from here before, which were delicious, so I'd probably stick to that next time! read more

I am SO spectacle about taco places because I am admittedly addicted to chipotles hot sauce. Also, I am such a plain Jane at the same time. Let's talk about this "dirty sauce" though. I asked if they bottled and sold it and they said yes but apparently not in restaurant cause we left without it. Just as hot as chipotles hot sauce but such a different flavor. This dirty sauce is not only hot at the perfect level but the SMELL and the FLAVOR hits you like a brick. Being the picky person I am, I of course did a build your own taco with the lime steak, lettuce, rice ($1 extra ), queso fresco (AMAZING), dirty sauce on the side (cause I had to try it first and ), sour cream and I used some corn kernels from our corn salsa appetizer and added it on cause I don't like onions and peppers in it because of texture (again, picky eater,I know). My girlfriend got 3 different signature tacos pictured. Her favorite was the sweet heat, then the braised and confused and then the Korean bbq. The trio of dips were awesome to try and they were excellent but I think they should serve their chips warm because they were just hard and almost stale tasting. But man, we're those dips beautiful. We did the corn, the queso, and the I think pineapple and honey or pineapple and mango guacamole. But what made this 5 stars was our server, Dionne, I think her name was. Came here with my mother for the first time. Prior to our visit, I came with a group of friends and the service was night and day compared to this visit. I had my dog with me as we were running errands. She's a service registered animal, however, she is small in size due to me requiring the help from a hypoallergenic dog. I had her certification just in case. I'm also from Los Angeles where my dog goes and is welcome everywhere. Ohio has gotta step it up in regards to people and their pets. Nothing is more uncomfortable than watching your bar staff and management team talk about you directly in front of you. We sat down at the smallest table you could imagine. Rough from the start! Our waitress was so unfriendly and seemed too busy to be of any sort of service. No check ins, not a single "is everything good"? Not even a check in to make sure the order was properly placed. Btw, it wasn't. The drinks we ordered were not made with quality, we received lime water margaritas. Not an ounce of liquor whatsoever. The drinks looked as though they had sat or were over make and set aside and then given to us after the fact. I'm visiting from Los Angeles and have worked in the service industry for 20 years. You might need to hire somebody with some experience. My mothers meal was unacceptably small in portion for a bowl at a restaurant. It was laughable honestly. Tacos were cold and not prepared as requested but without a check in or a single interest in giving a dang about our experience, I paid my bill and we left to not return again. Super disappointing because our first experience was superb but after that experience, I have no interest in supporting a business that isn't taking their staff training or service seriously. I'm typically pretty understanding of service industry mishaps but the gal serving us cared more about chatting at her service pos with five of her co workers than to check in on our meals and provide the service she is there to give. read more

The food was pretty good. It was busy but the service was pretty good. The drinks were tiny! $10 for a 4-5 oz Margarita. The inside is a little small so seating is gonna take a bit. We checked in on the app and it said 15-20 min but after we arrived it was an additional 20 minutes the Tex mex is spicy but I liked it. Too spicy for my wife .
