I was almost completely fine after a week, but now the pain is back and I can't open my mouth again. I just moved to the Venice beach area and tried calling the Aspen Dental here and they said they couldn't see me because I owe a balance of $230, which I was confused about because they ran my insurance and collected my total before my surgery and even made me pay $40 when I went back in to have my mouth looked at and had me sign a form that I don't owe anything else. I will pay the $230 in a week, but don't want to wait that long to be seen as my mouth is in excruciating pain and obviously, something is going on because of the surgery that their surgeon performed on me. On top of that, the receptionist continually puts me on hold for 5-10 minutes and then ends up hanging up on me.

I made an appointment to meet with the manager a few days later and she was very pleasant and offered to give me new partials that resembled dentures. I left and was happy that they wanted to fix my problem, but after talking to my new dentist I decided I wanted to research other options. She said there were other possibilities. I wrote a new review on their website, as requested by the manager, and mentioned that I wanted to meet with her again and would call in a day or two. That review was sent on April 16th and I called three days later. I was told that she was in a meeting but would call before she left that day! Well, that was April 19th and I still have not heard back! so again I am posting a negative review because I still do not have partials that I can't use and can't afford new partials! So I'm hoping they will follow up and if nothing else, offer some compensation that I can put towards new teeth! I do not recommend this business!

Receptionist said, "that's not what you need. So today will be $188." So, I walked out. They refused the treatments that come with my insurance. And that is AFTER they conned me out of $200 for the last cleaning. --I also heard the lady checking in before me ask for a piece of paper to write her next appt date on, and the receptionist said, "oh, we'll call you the night before." Lady said, "i need to write it on my calendar."

I have a dental insurance. They give the total cost of dental work. The insurance cover the deep cleaning and I have to pay from packet the root canal. They offered me I credit card. They did it the Deep cleaning at the time and set an appointment for the second procedure. I was late twice, then they told me that they wouldn't take me because I was late. After couple months I started to get a bill from the care credit card. I went to the office to a follow up appointment for the deep cleaning. The office manager called me to her office then she said that they cannot get the claim done because they have the wrong address of the insurance company. Therefore they cannot see me until this get resolved. In the meantime I was paying the credit card bill for a root canal that wasn't done. I opened a dispute and the credit card closed because Aspen Dental sent a document that I signed saying that the work was done. Be careful with this people. This is a fraud. They offer you credit and make you sign paperwork without complete the work. And when talking to them in this office the office manager said no need to pay the balance due first. I called the insurance company and they said that Aspen Dental didn't ever sent the claim. So now I got a bill for a deep cleaning that Aspen didn't send a claim to the insurance and credit card bill and not root canal. Be careful with what you signed up to this people.

My wife went to Cape Coral office and found the dentist was professional and she liked his work. We had to pay upfront $4200 for full upper with some extractions and a lower partial. Aspen Dental has offices all over and THEY KNOW what their going to get paid. We paid according to our plan. Two problems followed. 1) There office sent us a bill for $10,000 they said the didn't get paid enough from insurance. THEY KNOW their not getting money from insurance. We protested with the local office and a month later bill was lowered to $4000 then later to about $1800. They billed medicare, Carrington and me for total services trying to get more money. The main office is crooked. The last bill included items already paid for. 2) Although the dentist seemed professional, having a dental lab in each office is a mistake. From reading many reviews it is apparent the lab techs are not qualified and my wife's dentures did not fit proper and kept falling out. They did not treat lower teeth problems before doing partial bridge, it is useless. Now paying $8000 to a specialist for fixing lower teeth and get an upper denture that fits.
