I've been coming here for over 22 years now. They've literally fixed every single car that I have ever had (and my family's cars) and they are VERY affordable. From my first to my current car, they've fixed my '88 Chevy Nova, '93 Saturn, '01 Nissan 350Z, '07 Mustang GT and soon I will be bringing in my '11 Chevy Camaro in for a brake job that will probably cost half the price of doing so at my own dealership!!! I've been a long-time customer of Confidence, but unfortunately things are not as good as they once were. There's no doubt that Alfred runs an honest business but I'm looking elsewhere for my auto needs. A big issue is how busy they've become. Most of the adjacent shops have been pulled into servicing Confidence customers. When I call the office they're sometimes not sure where my car is, let alone when it'll be ready. Where the forecourt always used to have a few spaces open there are often cars parked along the street. And although I book ahead I've come to expect delays due to walk-ins. While Confidence has saved me money in the past, the current conditions have cost me a lot of time and money recently, in re-done repairs. So they get two stars for old time's sake, but the real picture is that if you have an 8+ year old car and don't expect to keep it too long then maybe roll the dice and you'll save money here. If you have something newer, or a car that's a keeper, then sooner or later the quality control will let you down. read more

Dont do it!! I had been coming here for over 17 years and had the worst experience ever and wound up having to sell my car. After spending over a $1000 to fix sensor's my catalytic converter literally blew up. When I drove into Midas in Simi Valley, the manager was so angry he took the phone and called Alfred himself. When I went in and tried to resolve it I sat there for 45 minutes and had him come to me and finally say what do you want me to do?! The mechanic at Midas also had informed me after having a complete service on my car that my front right wheel was not even connected to my car and was barely hanging on. If you value your life and quality of service I would never ever go here. I plan on taking legal action. read more
