This location this the best. Employees and manager were very nice and helpful. How ever the customer needs to learn manners. Keep an eye on you tray because once you set it down and walk away to the salad bar and then return your napkin will be gone. As I was returning a Caucasian male about 60-65 yoa, 5/9-6 ft tall wearing glasses and tan shorts came to my table lifted up my receipt and took my napkin. As I watched him return back to his table and wipe his mouth with my napkin. I noticed his wife sipping on her straw starring at me. She knew that I saw her huband. I actually live in Franklin, but I go out of my way to drive to Brentwood just to eat at this franchise. The staff is so kind and the food is always so fresh and good. We used to go to the Franklin location, but the service was just disgusting so we're so thankful we found another location close by. Inexcusably poor customer service. Ordered via the app and my order was incomplete. My side salad was not in the bag. I noticed before I left the facility. Manager said it was my responsibility to build my own side salad even though there was no empty to go container and my order was on the ready shelf. Funny how I've ordered the same exact thing many times and have never had to made my own side salad. This location is never taken care / cleaned. I have attempted to go over the last few months and the salad bar often has wilted lettuce and not stocked. Last Wednesday 12/20/23 I went to the Jason's Deli 279 Franklin Rd in Brentwood Tn to have dinner as I frequent 2/3 times a week. Ordered a sandwich and chips like I usually do as well as other varieties. All of the employees know me and are very friendly towards me and have been throughout the years. Makes me feel very welcome there. Sometimes I order the managers special and other times I just order a full sandwich as I did this time. As I proceeded to my table I speak to the preparers and line cooks. This particular time a line chef asked if I wanted a salad bar and I communicated to them I did not order a salad bar. I guess in the spirit of Christmas they gave me the bowl on a tray and said " here, have one anyway". So I was appreciative of the gesture and said thank you.Who am I to reject the kindness of an employee? Every manager has been equally as kind to me on many many occasions (too many to count). This evening the alleged person supervising was a guy who usually just works on the cash register. I fixed a salad and proceeded to sit at a table waiting for my sandwich. This same individual came over, put my food on the table and immediately raised his voice at me telling me" Im going to have to pay next time for that salad " in the most disrespectful and condescending tone I have ever experienced in an establishment. There were other patrons and family members who observed this incident sitting in close proximity. It was VERY embarrassing to say the least ! This total display of unprofessionalism and unwarranted accusatory behavior was demeaning, slanderous, and dangerous to the very fiber of Jason's Deli's brand. I even attempted to explain that I did not REQUEST a salad but was GIVEN the salad and he rudely repeated the same words . He never came back to apologize. Manager or otherwise, this is inexcusable. As to the how or why he felt so comfortable standing over my table displaying threatening body language using his hands pointing with voice raised; can possibly be addressed in his exit interview. Glad to see the salad bar is open even if it is just one trip now for pretty much the same price. Went there Saturday night they were nearly empty including spinach and pasta salad in the 30 minutes I was there nobody came and refilled them that was unacceptable. There is no more chocolate syrup with the ice cream anymore I don't know why the Murfreesboro location has syrup there. If they would just stay on top of refilling the salad bar and bring the chocolate syrup back all would be grand. I usually liked Jason's deli but recently several things have made it mediocre. I assume it's because they can't find enough people but I was there Sunday and the patronage was beyond capacity. Much of the salad bar that I liked so much was empty and having to wait for a place to sit was annoying. The worst part is that the rear exit was locked from the inside. This is a fire code violation especially when there are this many people in the restaurant. The sandwiches are good though overpriced. I likely will not go back; at least to this location. read more

My order, given at the counter, was promptly delivered to our table. My half mufflaletta was absolutely scrumptious- starting with each bite of the crispy, crunchy muffaletta bread. Oh me ! My wife's lunch came from the well-stocked garden salad bad. Her first helping was as big as Godzilla. Now to rate this Jason's deli. The inside decor was lively and bright. The huge salad bad was loaded with fresh, healthy food. My half muffaletta was the absolute best, but this single dish, even adding all the rest, only gets Jason's four stars. read more

I love a good salad bar and Jason's Deli has the BEST. I'm sure the rest of the food is great too, but I'm there for the salad bar trips. Toppings for days, variety of greenery, excellent dressings (jalapeno ranch is really good!) and the very best little gingerbread muffins. If they sold them in stores I'd be in trouble. It gets crowded around lunch time, so many offices nearby and all, so go before or after the rush to avoid a slow line. I've heard to-go ordering is fast and easy as well. Someday I may try a soup or sandwich, maybe even use the to-go order, but that salad bar is glorious and I'll stick with what I know. read more

In response to the manager/owner that responded to my review of a recent visit to Jason's Deli. I was not already upset about my order when I spoke with you. I became upset when you informed me that your 2nd deli which you own, which is "Jason's Deli" had my order which was much further than where I placed my order. Me and my boyfriend order from your deli several times a week and you were not willing to allow me to receive my order through the Brentwood location unless I paid again, so paying twice for something I never received sounded a bit ridiculous to me. You COULD of under good conscious made my order at your Brentwood location so I was not out of my order since your other location was already paid for my order, IF you had great customer service which you clearly do not have. I was not rude to you nor showed any anger in your location, I clearly stated you lost a loyal customer because I was not willing to pay twice. Really great salad bar and sandwiches. Arrived about 11:40 and had zero wait in line. By the time we sat down the line was out the door. It's a popular place so arrive early to beat the crowd. I had the salad bar and everything was fresh and plentiful. My friends had sandwiches that were great as well. The chicken Santa Fe was hot and fresh. But idk if they're under new management, it seems the restaurant is going down hill. Two Sundays ago we showed up at around 8:15. We ordered and we noticed a employee was cleaning standing around the ice cream machine and soda machine, just on her phone waiting. At 8:33 we got up to get ice cream. She had put it away already. My heart was so broken, I was going to have to go home w a sugar craving. The ice cream is a huge deciding factor for me when im choosing where to eat w 4 boys. So I was a bit bothered that they had shut it down prob at around 8:15 when we got there. My husband got up to get a drink. Machine was shut off already. AROUND 8:35! This definitely made us feel like we were inconveniencing the employees. They were standing around the soda machine area waiting on us. Staring. And earlier when I had gotten my order, I asked a young lady for muffins. She walks to the back and then past me and just goes on about her business by the salad bar. She does not communicate whether im waiting on her to bring me the muffins, or she will refill the container at the salad bar for me to grab..... So I asked and she answered very rude. Like I should've known. It seems theres a huge lack of communication w young people nowadays, hence bad customer service. I really like Jason's in general. The convenience factor (it is literally next door from my job) is a huge bonus. I appreciate the salad bar and the fresh food fast aspects of Jason's. I often use the app to order take out, which really works out as I have limited time for lunch. I've had a few sandwiches from here and the salad bar and really happy with both. Funny thing - the app is easy, eating in however, is kind of awkward. They have a huge menu, so if you don't know what you want you have to grab a menu card and stand there reading it. When your meal is ready your pager goes off and you go retrieve your food. At the end of the meal, I believe you're supposed to leave your plates on your table as there is no trash bins, so if you're the helpful type - dial it back! The first time I ate in I actually walked around with my plates on a tray trying to find the trash can/plate bin. I don't know, I guess I'm just used to cleaning up after myself. All that aside though, I plan on eating here a great deal. Overall, it is good food for a good value. Oh and...no WiFi? Kind of stone-age...since the booths are pretty comfy. Best new location in Brentwood. Love it! They remodeled the old Ruby Tuesday into a nice place for a new Jason's Deli. They are a bit overly helpful which sometimes happens with new places. The menu behind the counter is a bit confusing to follow so I recommend grabbing the paper copy so you can understand it better. Service is good and food is excellent. You won't go wrong picking this place for lunch. read more

We ordered a sandwich tray and potato salad. The party agreed the bread is too dry (even with Mayo) and the potato salad didn't really have any flavor. Needs more relish and maybe some salt too. It was also too dry. I appreciate them leaving silverware in the bag. read more
