Amazing!!! We hired Connor's Landscape to give our rental property a make-over. When I called, Mike got back to me within minutes and had an opening in his schedule and was able to meet me at the property that same day. He was on time for our appointment (actually early!) and a really nice guy. I told him what I was hoping to do with the property and right away he was full of great ideas and suggestions and not at all pushy or trying to up-sell. He even offered to tear out some ugly, overgrown shrubs at no charge. He worked well with my budget and his quote came in at half the amount that the last place had quoted me. Once we gave him the go-ahead, the project was started within a week and took only two weeks to complete. The house is situated on .25 acres with a very large backyard that was not level and has roots everywhere from a giant tree in the middle of the yard. Mike and his crew made short work of it and were able to include drainage and underground sprinkler piping into the design. Not only is the end result beautiful, but Mike and his crew are just good people. There is an autistic boy who lives next door and he was thrilled to watch the workers and the tractor. I've worked with Mike at Connor's Landscape twice now. They planted a couple olive trees and ran PVC lines prior to our pool construction and hardscape. Most recently they completed phase 2 which was doing all the planting, setting up the valves and irrigation and spreading the gravel ground cover. I typically do not write reviews however, concerning Connor's Landscape I am making an exception based upon their high level of support I received. The job consisted of removing old sod, installing a new drain and my primary property and new sod and plants at my rental property. From the first moment I spoke with Joe, I knew I was working with a professional company and upon meeting him in person, my instinct was correct. Joe listened to what I was looking for and offered his opinion and together we co-developed the plan for my two properties. When the team arrived to perform the job, I was greeted by the leader and whom explained what they were going to do, when they would be finished. However, given the number of roots upon preparing to install the new drain, it took them longer than expected which is understandable. However, they made it clear that they would not hurry up and cut corners on the rest of the job. They asked if they could have an extra day as they wanted to be 100% sure the job met my expectations. I appreciated their concern for getting it done right vs meeting a deadline as it demonstrated their commitment to getting the job done right! Once completed, I was extremely pleased and pleased I had contracted with Connor's Landscape. Overall; Their attention to detail from the first phone call to job completion exceeded my expectations. We had such a great experience with this company! The lead time was worth the wait! This is an example of a relatively small job with a huge impact! They removed our existing grass, added all new sod, helped design the planter beds and added mulch for a nice touch. The story tells itself in the photos, but we were extremely impressed with the irrigation system they installed, as well as the attention to detail in the plant layout. All of our questions were answered in a prompt fashion, and the price was totally reasonable. I can't believe how easy they were to work with. We hired the worst of the worst contractor prior to Connor's to do our outdoor remodel and were so scarred from the experience. That guy was literally an evil shady conman that we had to hire lawyers to make sure we were protected from. We fired him wayyy too late- honestly we just ignored so many red flags and took so much abuse from him when we are the ones paying him.. anyway this is a review about connors not the shady contractor .. enter Connor's. Mike came to do the estimate and he was very easy going, honest, and very quick with replies. I really appreciate people who are prompt in responses. We hired them pretty much that same day bc we knew they could get the job done and their prices were surprisingly reasonable. Ernie and Adrian were the two on the job and we couldnt be happier w/ the way things turned out, not to mention how nice and professional both of them are, our yard looksso amazing. Both Joe and Mike were great to work with. We wanted our front yard completely redone with drought-tolerant plants and ground covering. We got quick response on our request for a quote and plan, and every time we had a question or concern, it was immediately addressed. We had an idea what we needed to spend, and they kept the plan within that range (below the top we'd specified!). They found that squirrels had damaged our water valve controls, so that got added in, still keeping within budget. We had the sprinkler system replaced with drip. The work was accomplished in record time! Their team came in and sprayed the existing lawn while we were away on vacation, so when we returned it was ready to go. It took three days for the complete job, which even included removing several trees. We're getting compliments from neighbors--and we love the simplicity of upkeep! read more
