The worse experience ever. I bought over $10,000 of furniture and because the associate Paloma ordered the wrong sofa and my 15 year old daughter signed for it. I am stuck with a sofa I didn't order or want. Last time we ever get anything with Conn's. If the associate wouldn't have been too busy talking about smoking weed and just talking and talking instead of paying attention to what she was doing the mistake would not have happened. And then they ask that someone be there with ID but they allowed a 15 year old child without an ID to sign for the sofa. They enforced their no return policy of no returns on furniture but failed to enforce their policy on asking a minor for ID. Conns is a rip off. They pretty much force you into keeping the item. Even if they are the ones that made the mistake. Never Again!!!! read more

I am shocked that I can spend so much money on a refrigerator & receive no customer support at all. I initially needed help switching the door from opening on the left to the right. Since I didn't pay for an additional warranty they couldn't even show me how while I was in the store. Now 13 months later the fridge has completely stopped working & they will give me absolutely no service because I didn't pay for additional service coverage & it's more than 12 months!! I purchase a coffee table and end table with cash. We set a date and time cause the way I work. It would be 7days later to receive my purchase. We tried out the speaker and we went ahead to buy it with the promise of one of THIER employees that we would be able to match the price for a deal in order to get store credit on Black Friday . This delivery service is piss poor, not only the companies communication with internal teams is even worst. I was given the run arounds and still felt like I was in a no win situation. Do not shop Conn's Home Plus. They sold me a defective dishwasher and gave me the runaround for 2 weeks to deliver it. Finally delivered on 12/30. Then they no showed on the 2nd to install it. And when the installer finally came on the 8th, he said it was missing so many parts it could not work. When I called customer service, they said I exceeded the 3 day return policy and they won't take it back. When I bought it they were supposed to deliver it on 12/22 and install it on 12/27. The store manager said if it didn't work on installation I'd have three days to return it. Not 3 days from the time they dropped it off. Their own installer could not make it work. SCAMMERS & LIARS. i got a samsung washer and dryer with pedestals from Conns which broke 4 months in. I had all the warranty and everything on it and it took nearly 2 months and 4 visits by the repairmen and one Samsung tech to finally get another washer. I am now writing this because my replacement has went out and another time taken off work to let the repairman in to fix my washer. I have went through 2 new washers and still don't have anything to wash my clothes with. I was told to go pick out another washer today and they would get it set up for delivery. They don't want to take the pedestal back (almost 300 dollars) and want me to now come out of pocket for a similar priced washer. Do not waste your time with this place they are horrible! read more

I emailed them as they requested and have heard nothing back from them. In fact, when Samsung contacted them regarding the situation, they denied ever switching out the refrigerators! first let me say that this morning I tried to leave a review on their website, there must be a algorithm to not allow post with keywords in i, because the moment I erased the scathing comments the review went through, now for my experience. I went into the Stafford location 2 weeks ago and bought a bedroom set and television the 1st delivery date was missed because they went to the wrong address, so I rescheduled and they actually showed up this time, BUT because my address didn't match my license they wouldn't bring it up to my apartment, I had recently move, the next morning(Sunday) i received a call telling me that the headboard had been damaged so it'll be later the following week before i get my stuff, later that same day I was told that I would get everything the next day but of course Monday comes and go with no delivery so finally on Friday the furniture came, now onto the TV, I received permission from my complex that I could mount the TV, so I went back to the store and bought what was needed, that evening I got a call letting me know that this mounting would be the next day(Thursday) but the TV wasn't coming until Friday, so I ran back to the store, got another TV and of course nobody showed up, it's Monday and I'm still waiting for the TV to be mounted, I'm not sure what Conns policy is, but it sucks, I don't think I'll ever deal with them again, by me working the odd hours I do, it was very frustrating, the very fact that they didn't seem to care was alarming. Got some new cell phones for my kids at Best Buy. One of the numbers was apparently used in the past, and we have had ten calls in one day from Conns collections department for the past week. Sometimes the calls were all at one time, one right after the other. I told them we are not associated with Conns, we have never purchased from Conns, nor have we ever been into a store, we just activated this phone number, so please remove us from the call list. WE ARE GETTING TWENTY CALLS NOW. Thank God we are within the return policy for the phones, and will return the line to deactivate, and replace with another number. Never ever again will I shop at this place again. The name says it all CONNS!!! I was going through the items I wanted since I had $7,500 credit limit and the conns employee that was helping me was writing the items I had picked. At the time I was told the system was down but they calculated around $220 monthly payments which was not bad for the items I had picked, well when it was time for conns to deliver they dropped off everything except for the main item I wanted which was a 75 inch smart tv. I called conns and was told that I never picked a tv and they couldn't do nothing about it since I had used all my credit with them. I tried to return everything back but was told that I would still had to pay monthly since I signed a contract but not only that my monthly payment turned out to be $477 a month. All I could do at this time is canceled the warranty and now I'm stuck with a $377 monthly payment for the next three years. I had shopped at conns before but this time it was a different conn. This one is located on 34th st and 290 in Houston Texas next to academy. NEVER AGAIN WILL I SPEND MY MONEY AT CONNS. I called corporate but they couldn't do anything to help. My credit score has dropped because if I'm late a few days they report it. This people are no good and I wouldn't recommend anyone to shop at conns. The products they sell is not even real wood. so black Friday they had some great deals. So I bought a refrigerator, and no sooner than I bought it. They took the money for it. It was all kinds of problems with the online order and I was promised a delivery. Then I noticed somehow the address for delivery was incorrect. You could clearly look at the address of the billing and see that it was off by two numbers. I spent 45 and minutes 39 on hold both times being hung up on. Talk about frustration. When I finally got somebody the next day, and the people were all very nice however, I was promised a second date for delivery and was told everything was taken care of not to worry. They're supposed to give you a call the day before delivery they didn't so I called them an hour later I was told that the product was oversold by 20 people and that they wanted me to pick a different refrigerator. I was so upset and the lady was very apologetic. However, now I have to wait 3 to 5 business days in order to ever get my money back. I purchased a Lg 4K from Conns. The salesman (John Nyugen) had my homeowner's insurance and I declined the warranty. The Mgr. Umer Kazmi made numerous attempts in getting me to by the warranty, but I did not want it. At the end of the sale, I signed the invoice from a large tablet, and told I would receipt my paperwork via email. I have checked both email for 4/23 and found nothing. On 5/21 I went looking for the salesman (John Nyugen), but he was on vacation. The store Manager, Mago Martinez had the Specialist, Lateef Adeleke to help me regarding the insurance. While I was discussing my issue, another customer came in with the same problem. I told Mr. Adeleke that this had to be Conns normal business practice because the other customer was complaining about the same problem. The Manager, Mago Martinez, came back into the conversation. He said the machine was down, but I could get a copy of my contract if I came back on Friday, 5/24. I returned to the store on 5/24 and received the invoice and contract. I told the Mgr. Mago Martinez, I had never seen this contract. He said I had signed it. The only thing I did sign was the invoice (on a tablet), and the date and time of the contract was dated and timed as the invoice. Of note, there was the credit property insurance, and $100 related to my loan with my signature. I knew nothing about this fee, nor did the salesman (John Nyugen) or the Manager Umer Kazmi informed me of these charges. At the end of the day, this is dishonesty by this business. Do not sign any documents at Conns unless they give you the copy right then. They charge you for things you don't have, and it's never explained. I am told now they are going to investigate this matter. Surely, I don't believe anything I am told. My product was $799 on 4/23, The same product is listed as $749 today, showing a $450 saving. I called for service on my dishwasher on 09/22 and after coming 4 times to fix the dishwasher, I was told they were going to replace the dishwasher with another one. As the tech was walking out the door on November 1 with the new parts he had just put in earlier in the week, he said someone would be in touch about a dishwasher. Now they are saying they don't know anything about it and can't help. They cannibalized the leaky dishwasher and now I have nothing. I was happy when I first bought the TV at Conn's home plus. they told me that the warranty will cover child protection scratches. Now they're telling me that they don't cover it and the salesman insisted that they cover child protection so I bought it. Now they don't want to honor it. So I came to the store and I asked a couple of the salesman about the warranty I told him that I wanted to buy a TV and they also told me that warranty cover Child protection scratches etc etc... I just bought the TV a week ago. So I do not recommend anyone to buy a TV from them.
