So far, I'm not happy. Spoke with a girl named Sarah 2 days ago to inquire on a floral package for a funeral next week. Another Conroy's location in San Diego offered it so I thought it was something the Covina location could do too. I gave her the SKU# so she could look it up, and she found it, then proceeded to tell me that theirs would be more expensive. I didn't ask about pricing. I asked if they could offer it. So she told me she would relay the message to her manager so he could call me back when he got in. That never happened. 2 days later (today) I called again and asked for her and a girl (who I swear was Sarah) said, "Oh she's off today." So I asked for a manager. A nice lady came on the phone but had a noticeable language barrier. I was chatting with her when I realized that she wasn't even the manager. Why did the girl even hand it off to her?? (Cause I'm almost positive it was Sarah). The nice lady then told me that the real manager, Jason, would be in tomorrow morning. So I will have my moment with him. Hopefully he can assist me properly. If not, I'll write an updated review. And I wish I read the existing reviews first cause I wouldn't have even bothered. Sarah SUCKS. read more

The manager will not get on the phone and you can hear him telling them to say that he is not here. Bought a corsage for my sons prom for $32.50. The service by the women behind the counter was hard to understand. She told me there was 4 flowers and they only put 3 when I went to pick it up the day of the prom. The pedals were falling off minutes after my son placed it on his dates wrist. Worst flower arrangement ever!!! Can't express how dissatisfied I am. I ordered a corsage and boutonnière combo for prom, I could have done a better & more cost effective job myself. The combo cost me $52 which I was fine with if the items would have been Worthy. I was expecting the items to look professionally made, that I bought from a flower shop not this deformed crap my 11 year old niece could have done! They showed me a catalog but the corsage looked nothing like the one in the picture, the boutonnière was so simple. Firstly, the date they delivered was wrong. The flower is a valentine' gift, but I received it the day before valentine's day. Second, the flower they deliveried is not the one type we ordered online. Thirdly, if the flower is same as their online picture showed, I can accept it even they dirveried wrong flower. I was surprised with a delivery of beautiful pink roses on Tuesday from my fiance to my office. Roses are not my favorite because they just seem to die quickly. I would like to thank Jason the person who helped me at this flower shop. I went to order a standing spray for my best friend stacy mom's service at forest lawn. Jason was very kind and helpful, her favorite color was purple and pink , so they made really nice spray mixed with purple and pink roses with stargazer lilies. I was overwhelmed when I saw the spray, it was more than spectacular, it was perfect. Everyone at the funeral commented on how beautiful the spray was. Jason told me that this conroys specialized in funeral arrangement, which I can tell by looking at the spray. i wanted to send some flowers to my cousin who just has surgery so i decided to order through 1800flowers.com. the first arrangement that i picked was not available for delivery for the following day so i had to pick a different one. it was a really pretty arrangement (it was called Pleasantly Pink and the description on the website said that it would contain carnations, lilies, roses, button poms, heather, and salal) i liked that on the website, you could see how the different sizes of arrangements would look like (small, medium and large). i picked the large ($64.99) and wrote a little note for the card to be attached and submitted my order. the next day my cousin texts me that she got the flowers and i was curious to see what it looked like so i asked her to send me a pic. i was SO disappointed because it looked NOTHING like the photo on the website and only had carnations, daisies, gerberdaisies and roses. the overall color of the arrangement was ORANGE, not pink and it is obvious that it was not worth $65. i understand that when ordering online, it is up to the florist to make the arrangement with what they have in store, and if they dont have exactly what is ordered that they would improvise, BUT i would have expected the arrangement to still be worth the amount that was paid! i wrote a complaint to the website (it says 100% satisfaction guarantee on the website!) and the next day received an email apologizing and that they will resend another arrangement in a few days of what i had ordered. they also said they will send me a $20 off coupon in the mail for my next order. this overall experience made me not want to use 1800flowers.com again. i would rather go into a florist and see exactly what would be sent, rather than trust a third party to make a decision, which might not even be the best decision. read more

Ordered a large rose bouquet a week ahead of valentines day and received order confirmation that it would be ready to be picked up the day of. Come the day of, I tried contacting the location approximately five times upon arrival but got no answer. I arrived thinking it'd be a easy get in/get out deal since I had ordered a week ahead but I was completely wrong. Three of their front staff employees were swamped with walk in customers, who themselves, aimlessly walked around and looked as confused as the staff members working. As I waited, I can over hear the front staff members laughing at the small arrangement they were working on as the roses lost it's pedals. After waiting ten minutes, it took all three employees to fail locating my order and ask the owner for her help. Owner went to the back returned several times continuously, trying to confirm what my order was. After waiting approximately thirty minutes there, they still couldn't find my order. Finally the owner told me to wait ten minutes, assuming she was going to go make it then and there! I had to cancel my reservations, notify my girlfriend I was going to be late, and still fight traffic on the 10W/605S/105W/405S. After another ten minutes , the owner came to the front handing me over some pathetic, flower wilted, thing of an arrangement. The arrangement had more carnations and fillers than it did roses. The description and picture of the arrangement online looked a lot better than what she was trying to make me take. I immediately told her that I was discontent with the arrangement, it wasn't what I had ordered, and that I needed something else. She refused saying that that was my order and to check online. I brought up my iPhone, located the picture, and we both counted more than six roses in the arrangement. Told her it didn't match anything in the picture and I wasn't going to take it. She then said would you like me to put more roses inside to make it look fuller but I refused because it still wasn't what I had ordered!!!! She said she couldn't make anything bigger but then suggested I take it without her charging me for the arrangement she half assed five minutes ago. Now, everyone likes free stuff, but no, it was terrible. I left the store empty handed because I was so upset because not only was my order not ready, her attitude to try to make something wrong right, but the fact I wasted my time on this place. My boyfriend got me flowers delivered from here . I like how they offer same day delivery however when I asked him how much he paid for it he told me it cost 58.94 with a coupon !!!! I couldn't find the perfect arrangement in their refridgerator, which was no problem because they whipped up a beautiful arrangement on the spot for me. I spent $50 but got this huge gorgeous arrangement, my mom loved them! They even lasted a good 2 weeks, just followed the directions from the store clerk, changed the water often and gave the flowers the "flower food." Horrible Flowers....The bouquet was ordered as a replacement. Some were actually dropping and brown, the lilies look as though they had fallen and the petals crushed. They were delivered yesterday around 3pm...this morning they look like they have been sitting there for a week. Flowers no where near what was suppose to be in the bouquet. The flowers that I ordered for my sister's funeral ended up being very nice and just what I wanted, but I was quite upset with the delivery. When I ordered them the week before, I told the person helping me that the service was at 11:00. When I arrived at the church at 10:30 all the flowers were set up in the church and my parents and I were looking at the cards to see who all the flowers were from, and the ones that I ordered were not there! My husband and I started calling and had a hard time getting anyone to answer the phone. When the person finally answered the phone it was 10:55. They said that they talked to the driver and he was almost at the church. He finally delivered the flowers at 11:01. I would have thought they would have had them there earlier and not walk in with them just as the service was starting. DON'T PURCHASE FLOWERS FROM THIS FLORIST in Covina, CA on Azusa and Badillo. You will only get dead petals on dead stems. I only purchased 6 bouquets and Conroy's Flowers could not deliver. The flowers were wilted (DEAD) beyond repair, the fillers were (scarce) missing and the colors were not as requested. I complained and the lady just said oh well...... The bouquets actually looked as if I went and picked up stems of dead flowers from a trash can. The store has taped to the counter a "NO REFUND" note. I should have ran. They need that NOTE because they cannot provide you with fresh flower arrangements. Save your money and buy bulk from Costco.com. Spend the extra $50 bucks with Costco it will be worth every penny and your special occasion will be all the more special. read more

Called them and inquired about a corsage that I saw on the 1800Flowers.com website. They said they don't have that particular flower so I decided to go to the store. This was for my grandson to give his date for homecoming. Both ladies at the store are VERY hard to understand and when they start talking among themselves in their native language it is very irritating! I decided on a carnation corsage and boutonniere with royal blue ribbon. The lady shows me baby blue ribbon and I told her no. I told her I was an AARP member and their ad says that I get a discount. She takes 10% off ($3.00) and I give her 2- $20's. She gives me the wrong change. I try to show her how to count back the coins and bills but she does not understand. She continued to try to short change me but I think I finally taught her how to count change. My husband took my grandson to pick up the order the next day. I could not believe the teeny tiny product he brought home! It looked nothing like the picture and the carnations were tiny and shriveled. She told him that she'd run out of corsage boxes so she put the items in what looked like a "to go" box with no lid! Ended up paying $30 for 3 shriveled up carnations, some ribbon and a pin in a "to go" box!! I will NEVER, EVER, EVER go back to this store!! I won't use 1800Flowers.com either since this is the closest florist to us that they use. I find that Flowers by Robert Taylor does a MUCH better job and they speak english too!! read more

I ordered a corsage and boutonniere for my niece and her date for prom. The young lady who take my order wrote it just how we wanted and was very kind. The following Saturday when I went to pick up the order another lady was there and bought out the flowers out to me. I was so surprise because it was nothing I ordered and I explained to her that this is not what we ordered and what we paid for. She was telling me those flowers they use are better and look nice and trying to convince me that there better then what we paid for. We asked for two large orchids on the corsage and one large white orchid on the boutonniere. It was not that and don't know what flowerers they used and they we little flowers. She offered me a $5 discount and I had no choice but to take them because my niece prom was in two hours. My drive to take them to my niece, flowers were turning brown. They died by the time my niece got to prom. I was so disappointed and unhappy and paid about $60 for what we wanted and didn't receive what we asked for.
