The chicken wings had that perfect crunch in every bite, and everything we ordered was on point, the pasta lovers (chicken and shrimp over penne), the chicken stack with eggplant, and the wings were all excellent. What stood out just as much was the service. Even though the place was packed, it still felt cozy, and the staff never missed a beat. Drinks were never empty, and you could tell the team is well-trained and dialed in. The owner was right there in the mix, delivering food, making drinks, and greeting customers. That kind of presence says a lot about a place. Nice touch on the way out too, being thanked for coming. It's simple, but it sticks. Definitely a spot worth going back to! PS don't skip dessert!

This would be a nice gathering place in colder months, as the stone fireplace is a major attraction as you walk in. For my snack, I had the classic calamari, the tavern poutine along with a grilled vegetable salad to share. I figured I would balance out my cheat day with some vegetables haha. It all came together quickly, and the wait wasn't bad. The portion size here is very shareable. My favorite by far was the tavern poutine as the breaded cheese curds and house made gravy with bacon really hits the spot. The calamari was a little on the chewy side and not as tender as I'd hoped. I would definitely pass on it. The grilled salad was presented nicely but had a ton of creamy balsamic on it. I would make a mental note to ask for dressing on the side. I personally am not a fan of overly dressed greens as I prefer them crisp. It wasn't bad, but not something I'd order again. Overall, my experience here was nice and I look forward to stopping in again.

Both were disappointed as both buns were dry and burger was too well done for the grandson, however the chicken and sides were excellent. Crispy and hot fries, tuna mac salad was really good. Servicing staff was very attentive in checking with us for more drinks, was everything ok , just very accommodating. Overall- Nice dinner.

We walked in and it wasn't busy at all. We were seated in the dining room and all the tvs had football on. Cute little lights on the tables lend to the ambiance. Our waitress took our order. I'm in an Irish pub so I HAVE TO get fish and chips and so happy that I did. 2 huge fish strips served over hot French fries. Did not disappoint! My husband had a cheeseburger. The next time we saw our waitress was when she "checked up" on us, after we already finished our meals.

It was large so I ate have and took half home. Delicious! I also had the French Onion Soup (along with three others.) Sadly, it was spoiled for me by a completely soft/soggy bread slice (mush) below the cheese top. I quietly removed it from my bowl. However, the broth was flavorful. I remember it being excellent. Reason for 4 stars instead of five. My grandson enjoyed the Shepherd's Pie. Since he is a growing lad, he also had the well made fries. The three salads ordered were excellent. One salad had salmon, one had Buffalo Chicken, and one had beets and goat cheese. Generous amounts of protein were served. Couldn't manage working more than 1 table. Almost walked out. Probably should have walked out. A table that arrived 15 minutes after us got their food half an hour before us. Sorry, but no tip. They comped us a wrap, since it was forgotten about, which was nice of them, but doesn't make up for a very slow evening. Despite the unfortunate service, the food was good!!
