This was first time going to Kung Fu Tea and the experience was better than I imagined! It's definitely the cleanest establishment I've been to in regards to "fast" food! Clean enough to eat off the floors. The tea was delicious but I'm just not a fan of tapioca balls regardless. My sister in law said they were the best they've had and they drink boboa tea all the time. It was also nice to see that they use fresh ingredients instead of being so processed. We got the Oreo milk (lactaid) drink and my family got the oolong tea! Both were great! I'm not sure if we will come back but that's only due to the fact that we're not boboa tea people! If you are one of those people this is the place to go!

Really excited for Kung Fu Tea to join Libertyville! The interior is fun with Kung Fu Tea branded wallpaper. There are plenty of tables to drink your milk tea & chat with friends. I got the classic black milk tea with 50% sugar and boba. (Yes, you can adjust your sugar and ice levels to your liking!) The tea is brewed well and very flavorful. The boba is cooked nicely and has a nice QQ (chewy). I'll be back soon!

My friends and I stopped by here. We ordered taro milk tea, yogurt grapefruit, honey oolong tea, and strawberry lemonade. Our favorite by far was the honey oolong milk tea, highly recommend! We ordered 2 of these with almond milk and unfortunately we really didn't enjoy it. The almond milk drink tastes kind of burnt and maybe just didn't mix well with this particular tea. Unfortunatley the only other dairy free option was lactaid. I do hope they add other dairy free milk options (oat, coconut, soy) in the future! The staff was kind enough to replace our almond milk drinks with lactaid milk at no cost since we really didn't enjoy the drinks containing almond milk.

Establishment was very clean and and were very attentive on keeping it clean. Most importantly my King Fu Milk tea was the best I have ever had. I always ordered this drink at other Kung Fu Tea locations and is always good but this time around it was flat out delicious. I asked the people at the front counter if there ingredients are different from the other locations and they said no. This means it's all on the preparation of the drink and the attention to detail. Like I said before this drink has always been good to me at the others locations but the way they prepared the drink here I was flat out great. Over all great experience from start to finish.

Passion fruit green tea punch - good, but very sweet and could still taste some bitterness from the fresh green tea. Refreshing pick me up. Grapefruit green tea punch - perfect balance of flavor with the slightly bitter fresh green tea, just sweet enough. Harmonious. No toppings in either. I love a tea place that actually knows how to make real brewed tea. According to their website they brew their tea every 3 hours for freshness which I love. If you like tea, you should give this place a try.

i am SO disappointed about the management change the drinks use to be so good but it's obvious there's either an ingredient quality change or a lack of training. i went a couple of weeks ago and ordered a mango green tea with popping boba and the tea tasted sour and gross from the start. i returned a couple of days ago and ordered a chocolate slush and it was incredible disgusting. it was basically chocolate milk with stale boba at the botttom. the claw machines were also exchanged for scammy ones that basically never give out rewards. i'm mainly just upset about the how nasty the drinks now are and how i'll have to find a new boba shop. read more

Went to kung fu tea in libertyville with my husband because we love boba. I got the cocoa cream wow and it tasted like old milk and the boba was hard. My husband's drink tasted like pure syrup. It was 8 dollars per drink. we will not be going back again. read more

We came here for the first time a little over a week ago and have been back a handful of times since. The first time we came the gentleman at the cash register seemed very confused and my drink was made as the princess peach oolong instead of just the oolong. I'm pretty sure he was in training, and thus took the first interaction with a grain of salt. Since our first visit we have been ordering on the APP, so much easier to see what they have and all the toppings. This place is extremely clean and overall has some classic flavors. Coming from the city, I would say this is the best boba place in the area I've tried for the price. read more

My favorite go-to boba place! I was so so so happy they open one close to home. I use to go to glenview or Evanston all the time but it was a hike to just go there for boba so I was really glad they open this location! I went for their soft opening at night and it wasn't too bad of a wait. There was a couple of people in front of us. My go-to drinks are peach oolong tea or mango green tea which are my all time favorite. I've also tried lychee punch, oolong milk tea, and mango slush and they're pretty good too. From the SECOND we stepped into the shop it smelled so fresh and SUPER clean! But not that over powerful cheap clean smell! The entire place was clean. The staff were both VERY patient with us so S/O to them :o) great job. It has a very calm hang out vibe. So much better than the kungfu tea in Maryland that was crap. Every time I visit I can't wait to go back again! The drink menu is huge and so many great choices to choose from. Staff is always nice and give recommendations as well which is helpful. They have a few games to choose from to play with friends or family while you enjoy your drink there. Their service is always quick, and the place is always clean. The food was good the wait it was so long I did not like it we waited for about an hour and then we went to go get more food at another place when we came back it still wasn't ready but then it was ready in about 10 minutes but The food was good. Just last week, Friday around 2:00ish, I was impressed with the service - nice place, good drinks. Staff were so friendly , the three worked with harmony, relaxed and having a good time joking around. The man and two girls were enjoying what they're doing. They're laughing while making drinks. It was so contigious. Made you feel good yourself. I hate stressed out atmosphere while waiting for my food or drinks. I think that jolly man is the manager, he was so lively and so pleasant. I went the opening day, and it was so busy! So I knew it had to be good. I had been waiting for 3 months for this place to open and I was so exited! So I stopped by at about 3 and ordered. I got a mango slush and it was so good! I will definitely come back. The wait was very long, but they had music, fun interior and it was very interesting to watch how they made the drinks. Time flew by quickly. My sister ordered an OREO slush and she liked it so much! I saw so many people get there drinks and be so satisfied by there drinks; no matter what it was. I definitely recommend Kung Fu Tea if you love any kind of drink. read more

I didn't wait too long for my drink as the two baristas were turning over order quickly. The one thing I wished is that they had any food options. I'm sure this is coming soon. Overall, this was a great find and even better treat. Looking forward to seeing Brewhaus grow into the community!

Kung Fu Tea never disappoints! Their drinks are always consistent and super refreshing. The classic Kung Fu Milk Tea with boba is my go-to -- the tea flavor is strong, the sweetness is just right, and the tapioca pearls are perfectly chewy. They have tons of options, from fruit teas to slushes, and you can customize the sugar and ice levels, which is great. The staff is friendly and fast, even when the line gets long. I've only been here a few times, but I really like it so far. A lot of bubble tea places have bland tapioca pearls, but Kung Fu Tea's brown sugar pearls are perfectly sweet and chewy.
