Verizon was out in Santa Barbara on Saturday and I did not have the address for Considered Coffee. I was so sad that I was never going to be able to try it and I stumbled upon it while going somewhere else! Wow, I've never been more excited about something in my entire life The lovely barista working when I went was so personable, fun, and doing a fantastic job considering how HOT it was in that bus! Inside the bus itself was super cute and cozy. I feel like I would love to sit in there and drink all day, but I ordered the Strawberry Pink Peppercorn latte with oat milk and was pleasantly surprised! It was sweet with a little hint of fruitiness and a little floral all wrapped in that creamy oat milk texture with espresso that really woke me up. It was refreshing and energizing on a day when it was like 98 million degrees. I would love to come back and try the other offerings the next time I'm in town. Five stars! read more

Super quick and friendly service, and delicious coffee. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes with "Rose colored glasses" AKA an iced pistachio rose latte. Definitely quicker and just as tasty as the very long lined bakery nearby at 10:30am on a Sunday. The bus is now a white Schoolie and clean and decorated in a minimalistic coffee shop vibe, with some cute signs/cards up with magnets. There is a little two seater table inside too. I tried the Honey Lavender Latte with oat milk and it was great! Also LOVE their selection of alternative milks! Considered Coffee has different locations each day so I recommend following them on social media to see their schedule. I had a very bad time with the service this past weekend. When I asked for my drink to be remade correctly, due to them not providing the correct milk I asked for. I was told I needed to wait for someone, I'm not sure whom they were referring to but I waited an extra 30 minutes and then they said I could email someone named chia or Pia about this because they don't get paid enough to deal with things like this. I was appalled!!! I'm new to the area and was heartbroken as this was my first experience looking for community vendors, as I plan things for the city. I also inquired about their coffee bus and the workers jokingly mentioned that the owners or higher ups aren't even paying the people whom have been trying to fix the bus. I went and checked out Considered Coffee Bus. It's an awesome pop up that moves locations throughout Santa Barbara and Montecito. The coffee is awesome and they brew it inside the van which is converted into a mobile coffee machine. I stopped by in the Funk Zone and they took my order, customized it and had it ready in seconds. It's a perfect way to get a cup of coffee and enjoy a beautiful day in Santa Barbara. read more

I forget how I came across this van selling coffee but I signed up for the updates and decided to give them a try. I had the opportunity to grab a drink today before work. I ordered a quad on ice and it was good. They used Handlebar coffee beans to pull the shots of espresso. They use great equipment such as La Marzocco machine and Acaia scale. Apparently this cute VW van goes around town providing coffee and you sign up to be in the know of where it'll be next. I'm not too sure what the concept behind their vision is, to be honest. The website says womyn owned and led but didnt see any womyn on site. They used beans from Handlebar which is a local coffee roaster. I was thinking maybe they roasted their own beans which would set them apart from other coffee places. Anyway, it's a cute thing to do if you want coffee from a van. I'd say check them out! Hubby and I enjoyed Considered Coffee Bus at Shoreline Park today, when we grabbed Ginny and headed over for a mid-morning break. Hubby makes pour-overs daily, but I'm a tea drinker and I try to steer clear of sugar, so we went to pick our separate pleasures. Hubby got a cappuccino and exclaimed "Wow" on first sip! I ordered the special honey lavender latte and was surprised to find it had coffee in it. The honey lavender part was amazing, but I didn't realize when I ordered it that it would have coffee in it. Oh well. It was still tasty and very smooth. We also ordered some of the Bliss Balls that they sell. We sat on a bench and enjoyed our drinks and split a packet of Almond Peanut Butter balls. Very clean ingredients that we could even share with Ginny and delish! On the way out, I went back and got a few more Bliss Balls as snacks to tuck in various places when we're out and hangry. Also, grabbed a chai latte, which was delicious and had no sugar! I didn't think to ask the attendant's name, but the service was outstanding. Hubby, Ginny, and I all agree that a weekly mid-morning break at Considered Coffee on Shoreline will resume until further notice! read more

Such a cool concept! I came across this coffee bus at the Goleta lemon festival and had to try it out. They were a bit busy because it was early and everyone needed their caffein fix, but once I placed my order I just walked around for a few minutes and when I came back my order was ready. Updated review: This breaks my heart to write because i love this coffee and business. Being a big fan, i followed them on social media and signed up for their daily texts. I don't have a ton of wiggle room in my work calendar but when I do, i try to go support this business (and get good coffee). There were four times I went to the location they were reportedly at only to find them not there. Four times! I even texted asking if they were there or where they might have moved to, with no response. Look, i get that things happen, I really do. But when you text me your location at 6am, stating you'll be there starting at 7am and you aren't there around 9am with no update, it's gonna annoy me. Especially when I go out of my way during work to go support you. I also had one coffee that had grounds covering the bottom of my cup once. Wouldn't usually mention it because things happen but it's just another "ugh" moment with this business. read more

Today I came by Considered Coffee's "Grand Appearance" in the Funk Zone. I was super stoked to meet the female owner, Pia, after following the concept on Instagram and now seeing it come to life! All of the baristas were smiley, welcoming and very friendly. I truly love the business' saying: "Coffee is calling for something different...steeped in something special." It honestly shows because they want each guest to feel considered. They also strive to be transparent with pricing (the one price includes sales tax and gratuity, plus alternative milk)! This amount allows them to pay each barista a living wage, plus donate an additional 5% to important non-profits. Lastly, what also makes Considered so unique is that this is all done out of a mobile VW Mini Bus! Not just any bus, but one that's solar powered and generated supplemented! After being handed my individually made cup of latte, I honestly could taste something different. The smooth, nutty oat milk in the background of perfectly balanced espresso. I went to the Grand Opening of Considered coffee at We Want the Funk. It was a really enjoyable with their adorable coffee truck and kind staff. The coffee was excellent, one of the best coffees I have ever had to be honest. I had the iced chai latte, it was simple and tasty; not too much chai thankfully because some places make it a little potent in my opinion. There was plenty of seating, a band with two very talented men and the singer had a great voice. Coffee never looked so good.... Literally! Considered Coffee Bus has won me over with the amazing concept of bringing caffeine to you and gorgeous locations in the Santa Barbara area! The barista was absolutely fantastic at walking us through the menu and even gave some great recommendations to my girlfriend and I. I went with a Chai Latte with Oatmilk and Vanilla Syrup which was fantastic! The flavor was very well balanced and it was a perfect morning to enjoy the beautiful weather. The coffee bus was parked at Butterfly Beach in Montecito and the view was breathtaking while sipping on my amazing drink. As a fellow small business owner, I was looking forward to my experience with this company and I'm not someone to write bad reviews but WOW, I'm awfully shocked by my experience with the owner. I purchased a coffee and took 1 sip and did not like it. I took it back for an exchange or refund and she rudely and strictly declined with no reason.... So I paid $8 for a small coffee that I didn't get to enjoy. She was extremely rude and no other coffee or food shop has a "policy" like this, because that's just not good business. I'm canceling the transaction through the bank because she was completely unwilling to help me with my gross coffee that I handed it back to her. read more

Had a great time checking out Considered Coffee Bus this morning, at their Monday Cottage Hospital spot (Pueblo & Bath). I found the VW bus really unique. The staff was friendly, helpful, and polite. The experience felt like going into a small, craft coffee shop on the street. The menu was fairly extensive and offers a decent variety of classic coffee options. They're on the noisy generator situation. It ain't easy running professional grade espresso makers off of battery alone. They've done their research and want to make it happen but it's pretty cost prohibitive right now. Hopefully, a new quieter generator will replace the old noisy one soon. read more

Was walking my dog at Shoreline park and saw this cute little traveling coffee van. Decided to order a chai latte with whole milk. I think it was $7 but sure, pretty convenient I guess. Oat milk was steamed to perfection, no slimy residue. Espresso pulled perfectly. This review is coming from a coffee snob with $1000+ worth of equipment at home. You can tell that the owner put a lot of R&D and effort into the coffee-making process, and that she chose bean roasts and processes that will be agreeable to most patrons. 5/5 would go out of my way during morning commute to grab a cup. read more
