She told me how my body was positioned on each one (how my hips, shoulders, and lower back were in contact or not with the mattress) which confirmed the type of mattress I felt was best suited for me and my sleeping style. She did mention some other options but I didn't feel like she was being pushy. She asked a few more questions and I made an appointment to have the bed delivered a few days later. Bob greeted us promptly and spent the time to understand what we were looking for. He started by having us lay on a medium firmness mattress with a couple of pillows (including sanitary towels, nice touch). As we tested the first bed he asked us various questions about our sleep styles, allergies, temperatures, and price point. He was reasonable and not pushy about our wants and needs (ie. Not too sales-y). He shared a lot of neat information about current mattress technology which opened my eyes to a whole slew of information I had never even considered. After the first tester, he directed us to a lovely Serta which ended up being our favorite (in store). He provided information about shipping/delivery and even printed up a quote to "lock in" the price. We were not ready to pull the trigger that day, and about a week later he reached out to my husband to let him know the mattress was still available in the warehouse and could arrive within our time frame. This store opens at 10 am, I went there at 11am and it was closed. I called later in the day and was told that the store opens whenever the manager decides he wants to. I went to another location, and they had only 2 brands of mattresses, while they advertise multiple on their website. This place is very unprofessional. I went in on Saturday night just to browse and see what's out there. I had stopped at Sleep Number first and, altough, I liked their product, I felt it was way too much to spend on a bed. I walked in here and was greeted by an extremely nice young lady. Julie asked me questions to determine my needs then suggested a bed to start with. The bed was fine but I went in looking for something different, maybe a memory foam style? I wanted something with a better warranty. She told me about the bed she just purchased with a 20 year warranty and I tried it out. It was a lot more than I wanted to spend but they were discontinuing this particular model so I was able to get a HUGE discount on a brand new Cal King bed and adjustable base rather than a discounted floor model.
