The food is amazing; however their service is really needing to be revised. There are mostly young adults working who stand around on their phones or chit-chatting behind the counter and rarely come back to refill your drink. There are maybe like 2 decent waitresses that are okay.I still go there because like I said the food is really good , but they really need to step up their service. read more

I just moved into the Von Ormy area and was driving around when I saw this pizza place off 1604. Being a huge pizza fanatic that I am, I had to stop in and see what Constantino's was about! It's a cozy small restaurant (seems to be family owned and operated). Staff was some young ladies, very nice. Menu was via QR code (later at the register found other menu item signage that wasn't listed). Ordered a pepperoni pizza, and some appetizers: mozzarella sticks, fried ravioli, and fried zucchini. No complaints on the food, as it was all very tasty and delicious! I'll be back soon! read more

We stop by this place almost every time we're in SA! Our pizza is always fresh and the crust has a wonderful flavor! We just found out that there is a Buffett so next time in town we'll try it out. Decided to give this eatery a go. I have to say it was very tasty. The atmosphere was welcoming and had a nostalgic feel about it. They have great Lunch Specials. Went for the Spaghetti, it was yummy but expected the meatballs to be more authentic. My hubby ordered a slice of the meat specialty pizza. When you're here one is actually two, it is a generous serving. As you approach the cashier section they have a delicious selection of homemade goodies, which I was told the owners Aunt comes in twice weekly to make them. Customer service was friendly and attentive. We will definitely be stopping by for lunch again. read more

I've been here a few times, the food is pretty good, the wings are very nicely sized. They messed up my order only once. Understandable. The problem with this place is the service. The girls upfront are rude & they want a tip for being a cashier? Which is strange. I always tip, regardless if they ask for it. But being asked for it is annoying. If you're not a man, prepare to be treated with attitude , even eye rolling. They definitely smile & have more respect/friendliness for the men that drop by...... I went last night with my mother-in-law and my partner for a late birthday dinner. I'm sad that I didn't take any pics of our food but will definitely be back. It's one of our favorite spots. I debated over whether or not I was going to leave a review after a few visits, but have decided not to go back to this establishment. The food is decent but you ca tell a lot of it is prepackaged. Let's start with the building itself. Old and in need of repairs especially the restrooms. Dirty tables and floors seem to be acceptable to this owner. Crowded does not even begin to describe the seating. Wait staff is horrible. They are always on their phones and ignore customers. One was even commenting to another what another employee had on their phone. I overheard the confrontation about her looking at it and she deserved it. Staff are rude to each other and codesending to each other. Uncalled for especially when customers can hear it. They don't clear tables as dishes are emptied which means that tables are stacked with dirty items until the customer leaves. Drink refills are not something that is done. Overall, the wait staff is lazy and I don't say this lightly. They also seem to be running a daycare as a side business and the employees seem to be more concerned about them than the paying customers. While the food is passable, it is overpriced and tastes prepackaged. The salad leaves are tinged in brown which indicates the lettuce is cut rather than torn or is being reused from previous days. The wings are greasy with the drums not cooked properly. The pizza crusts is often too dark fro overcooking. Food is served on disposable items which is cheap considering the price of the food. I am sure if I walked into the kitchen area I would find things that would make health inspectors head spin. It is obvious that management is lacking in this establishment because employees just seem to do what they want and really don't take pride in their work. If this were my resturant things would be very different including making sure that nonemployees in the resturant that just come in and take up space are not conducting their side business. Yep, I witnessed a deal going down on my last visit and decided then and there not to come back. I don't want to be in an establishment that condones that. read more

My family and I love constantino's! Our favorite day to go is on mondays when they offer BOGO pizza on the 14" one topping (But only after 5pm) their wings are also 1.09 each when you order 12 or more. The service is getting better. There is one waitress who is always in it. I don't know her name but she has long eyelashes. She will give you details on specials of the day. This place is a decent size inside but they also offer outdoor seating. The atmosphere is pretty calm. They usually have a tv playing a movie for kids. But overall we absolutely love this place...and so does everyone else that we take there! read more

This place has great pizza & the wings were also good. Not used to a dry seasoning wing but it was good and crispy as we asked. The pizza crust was just right toppings were plenty. Nice light spicy sauce. Ice tea tasted homemade and sweetened just right. Service was good the server was very helpful on menu stuff and had a sense of humor. I love this place! Most locals do.. the pizza is so good and cheesy and the wings are HUGE!!! (+homemade ranch from the packet) The staff has a very small town feel and the owner always makes it a point to ask how your food was... this means a lot. A down home pizza place where they do pizza right! Being born and raised in Chicago I can be pretty particular about pizza. Most Ive encountered in Texas fall under the category of " better than nothing". Constantino's makes a magnificent pizza. And their wings are incredible.
