We hopped in line and were asked our order pretty quickly. There was a pretty good selection of pizza slices to choose from. I ended up with the combo pizza and salad. I always have fantastic things to say about goombas, it's just a classic joint that puts out amazing bites. Their specials are super cheap and tasty, if you're ever around and needing a quick bite, try it! The food court has plenty of seating so you can snack on that slice before continuing your adventure in wonderland mall. Yes, they're located in wonderland, it's no biggie. The service is always great too, staff are amazing and always willing to answer questions, they have never been rude here. This place was hard to find till we realized it was in Tower of America Mall. The service was fast. The special was 2 slices with a drink for $9.50. The sauce was full of flavor and the crust was so crunchy and delicious. The two slices we took home tasted as fresh as the ones we are there. Mall of the Wonderlands Wonderland Mall Crossroads Mall Name has been changing, but it's this mall on the corner of IH10 & Loop 410 I also found myself hungry so took a walk over the food court. When it's fresh it's the best. I really love the pizza here. Huge slices you have to fold to eat. I've also had the wings - cooked well and to my liking. I'm not much of a pineapple on a pizza girl but they've sold me. In fact I'm not much of a pizza girl but when I have a craving I'll definitely hit up Goombas. I am making this review, not because I ate here today but because I was at the Pokémon go fest today and decided to walk around the mall with my bf. We were going to get pizza but noticed it was closed for the teams vacation. (If I remember that's what their sign said.) We were bummed because they have an awesome combo that we love to get. The pizza is soooo good, so cheesy and HUGE SLICES. Well at least for us. We fill up , plus the big red always smacks. Anyway, we came for the Pokémon event Saturday and Sunday, not gonna lie I saw so many families come by the pizzeria with their kids and they all had the same reaction. They were so bummed that the pizza place was closed. Even the kids were like "NOOOOO!" So they went with second best, whatever else was there. This also isn't a negative review or a complaint, but it does show how good this place is! It's places like this that keep crossroads in business. If it wasn't for all the gaming, anime,Ross,Burlington,pizzeria and now five below, I don't think there would even be crossroads mall anymore. I seen it struggle back then and I'm surprised at how it's still in business. But in the end it's these awesome places that keep bring people in. Please don't ever move locations or go out of business!!! And lastly I ate here a few times and it always smacks, the men working are so nice, clean, hard working and very professional. Not too much happens at The Wonderland Mall of the Americas. If not for the Bijou Theater most of these businesses would have packed up and left. But slowly with each and every new store the light at the end of the tunnel is starting to shine. Enter Goomba's Pizza. I remember when this used to be Sbarro's, but now it is housed in this area rather nicely. If you are new to the Goomba's Pizza experience here it is in a nutshell. It is hot, fast and good. You can buy pizzas by the slice or buy a full one, but split the difference with other friends. They have calzones and salads. They offer combos with a drink, but most people just buy a slice and buy a drink from another vendor. The pizza slice I ordered was a pretty healthy size. It reminds me of the slices I used to get at Luca's in Windsor Park Mall. They are as big as the mall! The crust is chewy, the cheese gooey and the sauce just right. I suggest you filler up before you go to a showing at the Bijou Theater, I have noticed there is more shopping upstairs and on it's way. Goomba's Pizza is quality stuff at fair prices. With each slice, each bite you take you are helping bring quality stores to The Wonderland of the Americas. Definitely an eat in kind of place. If you get take out order a snack for later because the take out orders are the size of kids meals. I paid $11+ for a spaghetti dinner that was the size of my fist, with "homemade meatballs" I could have bought at HEB. I've eaten at this restaurant before and received awesome service and food but their take out game is WEAK! read more

We decided to get some delivery through Uber Eats and Goombas was an option because we wanted wings. When the food arrived, we dived into the Caesar salad. The lettuce was a bit dry and lacked a ton of flavor. That's really the most critical part of the experience. Past that, the pepperoni rolls and pizza sauce were so excellent. The crust wasn't crunchy and baked perfectly. We got two orders of wings. One teriyaki and one garlic parmesan. The wings were delicious and adequately sauced. So far this is the only pizza place I've ever been to that doesn't skimp on the toppings. The employees are knowledgeable, pizza experts and are always willing to make you the perfect pizza. Actually, I was a little harsh when I said in my check-in that they are not organized. It is the lunch hour after all. There was a line, but it took me less than 10 minutes to get my food. I went for the $6.75 combo #2: one slice, small salad and a fountain drink. Not too bad a deal. My slice was pepperoni and jalapeños. Pretty good taste. After choosing my slice for here or to go. I picked to go. They plopped my big slice of pepperoni and jalapeño into the over heated it up and the other nice guy at the counter gave me my soda and $5.52 later I was on my way. Alas no Parmesan cheese to be found. What self respecting pizza joint had no Parmesan?! Anyway I settled for garlic powder. Onto the main attraction. It was hot. Hmmm. It has a good amount of cheese and the sauce was like tomato sauce not much flavor. I pulled off the freeway and came 10 minutes back for this??! Well it was hot and not outrageously priced. I always go around 5 or 6, so I dunno about the lunch rush, I have never had to wait too long for slices. The sauce and cheese feel the right amount to me, if there were anymore I probably couldn't fold it properly and it'd be dripping like a faucet. It already kind of does with the cheese grease, but I love a little drip. The sauce is really good, I can smell it as I eat my way up to the crust! There's parmesan and pepper flakes available all the time. And they sell calzones and other things made to order as well :) And they are always really nice when I go up to the counter :) read more

This is some good pizza. Shared the daily special, two slices of ginormous pizza and a drink, then added a drink for under $10. We both had pepperoni and it was really good. The thin crust was nice and crispy, not soggy. The cheese was hot, topped with delicious pepperonis. They also have another combo - slice of pizza, salad and a drink. Staff was very friendly. Goomba's in Wonderland has excellent pizza similar to the location further up I-10 at Wurzbach and also a skip, hop and jump away from the Bijou theatre so be sure to grab a slice or two from here instead of the mediocre and overpriced pies served at the theatre. You'll be glad you did. You can't go wrong with the 2 slices and a drink special for $6.75 The slices are big, foldable and piping hot just like true NY style pizza. The only minor pet peeve is that they close at 7pm so it's not a wise choice to try and grab a slice from here if you plan to watch a late movie showing at Bijou. But its not bad for being located just inside Loop 410. read more

This pizza is delicious and I kinda like that it's in a ghost town mall so it's never too crowded. They have really good deals. I like it better than the pizza Grimaldi's and believer that good pizza doesn't have to come with a expensive price tag. This is good pizza and for pretty cheap price! 10/10 would come here again.
