Whenever I come in to San Antonio I am usually a late arriver due to Austin traffic and I can always count on getting a fresh pizza pie to pick up here at South Flo. I love that I can grab a better than great bottle of wine, fresh tortillas for the next morning, and whatever small things my Mom usually needs from H-E-B all last minute. If you want a custom, always made-to-order, and no doubtfully the freshest pizza in South Town you want to come here. First off don't be impatient and wait for someone to take your order. There is a double-sided digital ordering kiosk I noticed this last visit I had here. It was so, so, SO easy to customize what I wanted on my pizzas, specify how I want my pies to be kissed by their nice and seasoned oven, and add all the additional toppings my pizza-heart wanted. Within 3 minutes my order was submitted and all I had to do was keep an eye out for a text on my phone to come back to the counter to grab my order. As I waited the less than 15-20 minutes to make the pies I ordered I was able to shop, take my time with picking a nice Spanish wine, and browse through each aisle and shop. Pickup was easy and my pizzas were piping hot when I was handed the two I ordered. Be sure to ask for some parm or red pepper flakes if you need it (or if you are like me just forgot to include it in my order initially). Easy parking to just park and come in/order/pickup too! You can always order over the phone or in person. If you are ordering in person they have these ordering kiosks where you can place you order and pay with your credit card. Once you complete your payment, they ask you to include your phone number and once your pizza is ready you receive a text. I like that you now have the option to personalize your pizza and make it your own. The meat pizzas were very greasy, as you can tell from the pictures. Everybody enjoyed their meal despite the greasiness. We called in the order over the phone and had great customer service throughout the transaction. The store was clean and the staff helpful and friendly. What's not to like about a 16" artisan pizza for only $10?! SoFlo pizza @ the S Flores location is a must try. If you need to do some grocery shopping I suggest ordering the pizza before you start because every time I've stopped by it's usually a 30min-60min wait. They don't have a full restaurant kitchen so there's only so many pizzas they can cook. However, I was very surprised with the quality of pizza & the fact that they have different/unique pizza options. I had the Spicy Hawaiian & it wasn't too spicy but the ingredients tasted fresh. The pizza is pretty basic and have limited options. No gluten free crust or Keto friendly options. Paying for it is weird too because you have to buy it from a cashier at HEB then bring the receipt to pizza counter. I tried several different types available at a birthday party. They all kind of taste like generic frozen pizzas but fresh and not frozen. There are definitely better tasting pizza places in that area, but if you need to do some shopping or you're staying at a hotel and don't wanna walk, then it's not bad. read more

I don't know why I haven't written a review about this place before today. It has been open since about 2017 i'm guessing and that's how long my life has been officially changed. First you go in to heb, go up to counter with your pizza request (forms are in front of where you order) then go pay at cashier. If you pay from 4-7 you get two free beers or wine with your $10 dollar pizza. yes FREE. Sometimes you get a unicorn coupon text to you to take a bigger discount and pay only $8 for the pizza and two beers. Happens about once every 3 months. I heard that the so flo in leon valley has trivia, but this one not yet.. can't wait until they do. I like that they have a seasonal pizza sometimes and it's so delicious when they do! WOW! What a gem. I dropped in just to check out what this small H-E-B offered. So glad I did as I found this shining diamond (So Flo Pizza) right out in the open. I was originally going to buy a beer as I browsed the store, but saw their Happy Hour Special ($10 Artisanal 16" pizza with TWO FREE DRAFT BEERS). The two SA HEFE draft beers were worth the $10, the pizza was a bonus! The pizza (Meats) had a fantastic taste. The sauce was flavorful, the crust was light and crispy. I'm definitely coming back. Know in advance that parking is limited and if you come during happy hour be prepared to wait 45 min for your pizza. The free beers will help pass the time. Kudos to the staff as they were knocking out orders expeditiously, but the sheer volume creates the wait time. Ordering Hint: 1. I was staying at LaQuinta across the street and decided to try the pizza out. It was mass caos and for someone who had not been there, a lot confusing. It didn't see anything to tell you much about size, although they are all the same size, I didn't know this. You write down what you want and hand it to the ones making the pizza. I waited over an hour. Checking to make sure they hadn't lost my ticket a couple of times. It also doesn't tell you that you have to pay at the cash register. I learned of this by a person in front of me needing to pay for his pizza. I thought the pizza was good, which is why this is a three star and not a one. The confusion could be eliminated or at least decreased if there were step by step instructions on a centralized location for people who have not been here before. read more
