He is fantastic- honest, knowledgeable, reliable, responsive, reasonable fees, and explains things well. He will advise if the appliance is fixable, or if it makes more sense to buy a replacement (if the part is no longer available or other reason). Some of the things he has fixed or diagnosed include: - Oven wasn't heating well: replaced the broiler element - Dishwasher issues: a) had a small leak: diagnosed and changed the lower spray arm (leak stopped) b) not working: found glass or a physical object/debris stuck, and removed/cleared it c) error code: cleaned out debris, and found drain hose behind was overly bent/collapsed, and reinstalled it properly - Washer not washing well: advised the part needed was no longer in stock/available, and to replace it. (It was already pretty old) - Dryer: knob broke, repaired/reattached it so it works/looks like new - Refrigerator: a) not cooling well or having ice maker issues... a fix about once a year over a few years/different parts were not working (He advised me not to keep repairing due to that particular brand/model having issues, and we eventually replaced it. I probably should have done it sooner, but he kept us going until then.) b) install a replacement refrigerator drawer, or a new filter cap , or reinstall water filter and condenser c) LG compressor failed/stopped cooling (Jean didn't work on that particular brand/model.) We paid someone else to replace the compressor (still under warranty). But it failed again a number of years later. Jean advised that that particular compressor had a known issue, so we bought a new refrigerator that didn't have that issue. Gas cooktop: reinstalled new burner base, later new cooktop. Highly recommend!

We bought them in November of 2025. Luis came out and installed the washer and dryer and took the old washer and dryer. We had a 2 month warranty. Everything was doing well until we moved out of the townhouse. The movers removed the washer and dryer from where it was located and the mess all on the wall and floor area was awful! The lint wasn't blowing outside through the trap but building up on the walls, hose that led outside and the floor. I took pictures of the area because I knew the property management will be charging me to clean up the area. I called Ferrer's Appliances and spoke to Luis and explained the situation. He told me there was nothing they could do and they were not going to pay for the charge I received based on their installation. I've attached a picture of the area! I'd highly recommend not using Ferrer's Appliances. We could have had a major fire because of the installation! I will be sending this to the Better Business Bureau as well!
