    Gas stove installation.

Thanks again to Paul for another clean installation. This time our new gas stove with down draft. Also, thank you for telling us about Micro-Trim to cover areas that needed it. Will recommend their installation anytime!! Thanks again!

I purchased a new over the range microwave from Home Depot. Unfortunately, Home Depot cannot install appliances if technicians have to drill into tile/granite. I contacted Bay Area Appliance and received a response within seconds. Paul scheduled an appointment a few days later, sent me a text detailing the cost estimate we discussed, and sent me another text 2 days prior to installation to confirm our appointment. LOVE THAT! Paul and his coworker arrived on time. Both were FAST and very knowledgeable. In addition to installing my microwave, I asked Paul to re-mount my old dishwasher, which he was able to do effortlessly as well. The old one was protruding, you can see the old insulation, and it was unsightly. Paul was able to remount the appliance and place it back to its original position. YAY. Saved me from having to buy a brand new dishwasher. SUGGESTION to homeowners - remove items from the counter since there will be dust if Paul or his coworker have to drill into tile. They vacuumed and wiped down as much as they could, but there was still residue. No biggie. These guys are good. I love that they send you an updated invoice via text. Highly recommend!

$410 30" Telescopic downdraft installation. Haul away old appliance. Very happy with service. I called, there was a quick discussion- Quote provided over the phone. Wanted a bit more flexibility with scheduling, but there wasn't much room to wiggle there. I'd absolutely use them again. 2 hour window. 10 minute notice. Job took an hour. Easy like Sunday morning.

I reached out to Mike and he was prompt to respond and was actually available to come out same day (just so happened fairly quickly), and provided his time frame. Upon arrival he was professional, friendly, and made me feel at ease - being alone in your house with an unknown person can be a little nerve racking for a gal, but Mike was great! He worked quickly and efficiently to asses the situation after I told him what happned ( I was hoping I didn't have to get a new dryer), and was very neat/tidy while disassembling the appliance, and thankfully he found the screw fast. He also helped me do a little TLC on the dryer's insides while it was open, in addition to advising me as to how to best maintain my Golden Girl of a Maytag. He quote me a fair price which I happily handed over rather than having to explain to my other half as to why we may need a new dryer while we have a mini reno going on :/ I would definitely recommend, and am keeping his info for any furture needs!

That rubbed me the wrong way, since that is almost a replacement cost for the dishwasher. I looked for an alternative and found Smart Repair in a Google search. They had a pretty high review and great comments. Yurii came a little early and instantly knew what to look for when I told him there was an error code "E15" on a Bosch dishwasher. "E15" means there is a possible leak and the dishwasher stops running. Yurii pulled out the dishwasher and checked for leaks. After 15 to 30 minutes of checking, he asked if we used liquid or pod soap. I told him liquid soap. He said there were no leaks but it is possible that we used too much soap and the suds were overflowing into the spillover under the dishwasher. He advised us to use only half a trayful of liquid soap and we should be good. And yes, we usually fill the tray to the rim with soap. I admire his experience and honesty (didn't make me pay for a part I didn't need) and would not hesitate to call them again for another appliance issue.

After way too many searches and review rabbit holes, we finally picked up the phone and called Gary for help ASAP. He came out the very next day (during the New Year break, no less), which already put him in "appliance hero" territory. Gary took one quick look and immediately found the culprit: a sneaky sock that somehow bypassed the lint filter, slipped between the drum, and slowly started jamming the whole mechanism like it owned the place. He even mentioned we got lucky: our unit is a more complex top-down dual-dryer setup that's not exactly fun to disassemble. Fortunately, it turned out to be a simple fix. He dislodged the sock, everything went back to normal, and just like that... peace was restored to our laundry kingdom. Bottom line: Gary is the hero you call when your dryer is acting dramatic, and your laundry is piling up like a bad life decision. Highly recommend.
