    Extremely Disappointing Experience - Failure to Honor Paid Services and Invoice Commitments (Delivery on 7/17/2026) I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Friedman Appliances. We selected this company because it represented itself as a full-service appliance provider capable of handling delivery, relocation of existing appliances, and installation. Unfortunately, the service we received fell significantly below the expectations created at the time of purchase and the services we paid for. Our delivery was scheduled for Friday, 7/17/2026, with a delivery window of 1:00 PM-4:00 PM. During the entire scheduled delivery window, we received no phone calls, updates, or communication regarding the status of our delivery. After the delivery window had passed, we contacted the office at 4:15 PM to request an update. We were informed that the delivery team was coming from Vacaville and was delayed due to traffic. However, this explanation was difficult to understand because we are approximately 20 minutes away from Vacaville, yet the delivery team did not arrive until 6:13 PM. The only communication we received was from the truck driver at 5:33 PM, shortly before arrival. The lack of communication was extremely frustrating and inconvenient. Customers should not be expected to set aside an entire afternoon waiting for a delivery without receiving any meaningful updates when delays occur. However, the delivery delay was not the primary reason for our dissatisfaction. The main issue was Friedman Appliances' failure to provide services that were specifically requested, paid for, and documented on our invoice. At the time of purchase, we clearly explained to the salesperson that we needed our existing washer and dryer relocated to another location and connected. We paid for the hookup service, and this request was documented on the invoice. We relied on this written commitment when deciding to purchase from Friedman Appliances. When the delivery team arrived, they refused to connect our existing appliances and stated that they "do not work for the seller." This response was extremely disappointing and confusing. The sales team, delivery team, and installation/service teams all represent the same company, and customers should not be responsible for resolving internal communication failures after payment has already been made. The situation became even more frustrating when the driver/installer instructed us to call the office ourselves to resolve the issue. This should not have been the customer's responsibility. If there was a misunderstanding between departments, Friedman Appliances should have handled the communication internally and provided a solution. Customers should not be placed in the position of coordinating between different teams within the same company. When we contacted the office for assistance, we received inconsistent information. We were initially told that they could install the new appliances and move the existing washer and dryer, but they could not connect the old appliances. Later, we were told they could not even move the existing appliances. The explanation and available solutions continued to change, leaving us without a clear resolution and without the service we had already paid for. The office later informed us that they could potentially arrange for a third party to connect both the new and existing laundry sets, but we would need to wait several additional days. This was not an acceptable solution. We should not have to wait days or coordinate additional contractors to complete work that was already included in the service purchased from Friedman Appliances. The reason we selected Friedman Appliances was because they offered a complete delivery and installation solution. If we wanted to coordinate separate installers and contractors ourselves, we could have purchased from another retailer. Because Friedman Appliances failed to honor the service commitment documented on our invoice, we were forced to cancel the order. What was even more disappointing was that the driver documented the cancellation as "refused @ door." This description is inaccurate and misleading. We did not refuse the delivery. We refused to accept a situation where Friedman Appliances would not provide the services we had already paid for and that were clearly documented on our invoice. The issue was not the customer refusing delivery; the issue was Friedman Appliances failing to honor the agreed-upon service commitment. This experience raises serious concerns regarding communication, coordination between departments, and the company's commitment to honoring customer agreements. Customers should be able to trust that the services they purchase will be delivered as promised and that written commitments on invoices will be honored. I hope Friedman Appliances takes this matter seriously and reviews its sales, delivery, and installation processes to ensure future customers are not placed in the same situation.

    JT and Mondo deserved 6 stars. They were only supposed to deliver and drop off the wine refrigerator in the box. My sons and husband were not home, so they went above and beyond to help me out. They took it out of the box, installed both handles, adjusted the legs, plugged it in, pushed it in place and gave me cleaning instructions. I am very happy with Friedman's Appliance sales rep, Cory and JT's/Mondo's impeccable delivery service.

    We took a cooking class with Chef Chelsea and absolutely loved it! We learned about the wood fired oven, but more importantly we came away from her class wanting to cook more! The highest praise we can give to Chef Chelsea for making Friedmans come alive for us, and cementing our business there when we have do our backyard grilling redesign.     Had to replace our dryer quickly and Friedman's was able to deliver us a new one same day. The sales person Francisco was very helpful and the delivery gentlemen Carlos and Juan were on time, courteous and did a great job with the installation. My family is back in business!     For our home remodel, our GC recommended Friedmans Appliance -- said they were the best. He wasn't kidding, first class customer service and selection. Our salesperson, Neel, was gracious, made excellent recommendations, no pressure, patient, and really helped us select exactly what we needed. He also checked in all thru the process to ensure proper delivery and install, plus even after the sale was done he went the extra mile on service to get us a replacement part when one broke. Highly recommended, worth the drive across the Bay Area.

    Oz, Lilly, and John at Friedmans were the absolute dream team! We came into the store in a pinch prior to the holidays and in addition to Oz talking us through all of the options and giving us details/options in a very direct manner, he arranged delivery and installation through Lilly and John for next day! On top of it all, we needed modifcations to the cabinets and John came through to make it all fit. They were quick, professional, and delivered a level of customer service my wife and I were not expecting. Highly reccomend the Friedman's experience to any in search of appliances. Go in the afternoon and they may serve you a beer on draft :)

We were going back and forth with quotes and it made me dizzy. I've worked with FUSE with 4 prior projects and was extremely thrilled with the work and prices. So, when we had to replace/fix an air conditioner, it was a no brainer to call FUSE. But, this time around it was not as seamless as prior projects. There was a lack of communication, there was a lot of miscommunication and there were so many people (too many cooks spoil the broth - phone operators, technicians, email & text personal) from FUSE working on my project. It was like the right hand did not know what the left hand was doing. It was confusing to say the least. The staff is very caring. That is without doubt. But, I never knew where I stood until we finally decided to get a new air conditioner installed. My tenants were losing their patience with FUSE. There were too many interruptions and unknowns. BUT, IN A NUTSHELL - IF YOU ARE PATIENT, FUSE'S PRICES AND THE FINISHED WORK IS SUPERIOR. Our disgruntled tenants even said, "FUSE really does good work. They're efficient, neat and thorough." As they say, "Patience is a virtue." One must be patient for the payoff as it is well worth it.

This morning I needed help finding Brown-eyed Susans or another tall growing daisy, and I was directed to Jerry, who was supposedly helping another customer, chatting away as if they were the only two people in the entire world. I had a friend in the car waiting for me who had medical issues, and after waiting to get help from Jerry for 10-15 minutes I went back in and told the people at the registers that the lack of help there was unacceptable. Several people were at the registers and nobody was checking out. Why one of them couldn't have helped was beyond me. One walked over to Jerry and asked him to help me since my question was quick, not landscaping a whole yard, and Jerry sighed and said what I wanted wasn't in stock. I asked him what daisies grew to be between 2-3 feet tall and wide, and he finally helped me find a yellow one. 30 minutes in the store for what should have been a ten minute errand. The rest of the staff said they "didn't know" anything about daisies. WHY A NURSERY HIRES PEOPLE WHO KNOW NOTHING ABOUT BASIC PLANTS IS BEYOND ME. When this was Navlet's you could get help easily, but now, as Sloat's, the ability to get real help is almost slim to none unless you have ALL DAY to wait around while they dilly dally and play dumb.
