He immediately asked what size I needed when he noticed I was looking at a specific pair and got that for me within seconds. He was very courteous and respectful. I come here from time to time but what made me stop in was the half off sale. Wasn't expecting much in customer service because I don't get much but this time I was pleasantly surprised. There were two guys working and they both spoke. Not only to me but to everyone that entered which was nice and they were helpful with us all. The selection was fire per usual and I felt compelled to try many on and make a purchase. The price was too great not to. Such an amazing store! I picked up some All Stars for my Goddaughter at a great price and when I got home, I realized I left my wallet there. I called the store right away and Anthony and Alondra had reassured me that they had my wallet safe and sound and would hold it for me the following day. When I went back for it the next day I was greeted by some more friendly staff that had got the memo. I got my wallet back with all my cards and cash accounted for. Didn't realize heading to the pike that it was a trick or treat event going on. Cute littles all over the place having a great time. When we walked in the store we were greeted even while the staff was busy handing out candy to the kiddos. My daughter was looking for a certain pair and the staff was helpful asking if we had any questions or needed anything. She found her shoes quickly but we continued to wander and still looking. Ended up finding a pair on sale for myself. Checkout was quick and easy and staff was super friendly. When we head down to Long Beach we always stop by. Plus for them asking if we needed our parking validated since I forgot to have it done at previous stores. read more

None of the workers wanted to help me. Didn't get any questions answered. They simply said no and looked at me. Felt uncomfortable as a black person. Really felt discouraged about buying my first pair of shoes until a black worker came out of the back, after I was in the store for an hour looking for shoes and helped me and started a conversation. It was a guy kinda bald. He's the only reason I bought my first pair of converse. Other than that, the other co workers didn't want to speak to me. Black people this wasn't a safe space for me. To even feel the slightest bit comfortable. A non black came in 15 minutes after me and was serviced before me. Bring your dollars elsewhere where they actually respect black dollars. read more

This store is located at the Pike Outlets in Long Beach next to the movie theaters. First time stepping in a Converse store I really never was a fan growing up the Chucks hi tops never felt comfortable on me I think back in High School I had a pair of Converse high top basketball shoes but never went back to them. I decided to give the low tops a try and they fitted comfortably the size however ran a half size larger than normal shoes for example I normally wear 9.5 but got a 9 cause the 9.5 was larger on my feet. The store itself is not large like the Nike one. The staff was helpful and friendly and in good spirits great customer service all around. Overall a good experience. Now I'm thinking about getting an all white one next lol. read more

We ordered some shoes online and accidentally ordered a size too big. Called customer service and they said to come in person to any converse store to get it exchanged and so we came here. We were greeted by an employee by the name of "YoungBlood" and he was very friendly and he showed us where we could find our correct shoe size. I came here originally just looking to exchange a shoe but after receiving such exceptional customer service by this young man I had to drop a review in honor of him, thanks YoungBlood for the great service. Nice store set up, grand opening today 8/27/2015, DJ playing all the jams, most of the shoes are 50% off with red tags, great sale going on right now. Chucks for everyone including newborns! Saw some interesting designs for much cheaper than Macy's, so I am glad they opened up an outlet here. Good size shoe store, nice and neat, sales staff was very helpful! I went to this converse store in the hopes of getting my classic black jack purcellls; i ran into an associate and he told me that they're discontinued and so i would probably never have to see them again. but out of my bad situation, there is a silver lining: i had the best customer service ever in a few months. the associate helped me find a new pair of shoes that could possibly replace my jack purcells (although I'm still having jitters and second thoughts to letting go) and he went through and explain every little detail to me. he even showed me that some of the new converse shoes have the max air thing that most nike shoes have; who would've known??? i love this converse store and I'm definitely a fan and will be coming back. the store is about the average size of the many other converse stores, but its the people that work in the store that will make it or break it. Although this location didn't seem to have the exact shoes that i was looking for (the replacement for the purcells), they were able to give me a location of a store that does thats not too far away from the Pike. Im glad i ran into the associate i did, but i have no doubt that any of the associates would've given me the same service if not better and turn my day from a bad one into a good one. since this location is at the Pike, i parked in the parking garage. the time limits are posted and i believe the first 30 minutes are free, so if you know what you want by looking online and calling in and saving it, you can park your car, run in, get your shoes, and run back out and not have to pay for parking at all! would definitely recommend getting your converse at this location, really friendly and someone will always be there to great you right when you walk through the door to the time that you finish your purchase and are walking out the door back to your car. read more

Get down man, this place is legit. Last week I came here around 8:30 and the smart ass girl said they were closed. I looked online and the hours said open till 9, so I called and the guy was super cool and opened the door for me. Because of his cool personality and his apology I decided to get a pair of shoes. He told me about the 50% off of clearance and I walked out with 3 pairs of shoes... He was really helpful and professional. Great spirit about him. The girl checked me out and was still a little salty. Hope she knows that it's easier to attract bees with honey then a sour face, lol... So five star review? Due to a great sale my fiance amd I visited this store a few times this month. We were more than happy to respond to the company surveys each time. We interacted mainly with Brandon and Helen although all the employees seemed friendly amd attentive. Brandon was there to offer any help during my solo visit while Helen helped my fiance during his purchase. Brandon was knowledgeable and worked hard to cozy up to my dog. Great guy. Terrible selections. I was so excited when I seen this was in the shops by our hotel and couldn't wait to check it out. This place was a mess- shoes thrown in random places not according the size and no employees in sight for help. Even worse was even though there appeared to be a ton of shoes, the selection for women's sizes 7-8, a pretty average size, maybe had like 10 pairs- most which were neon colored sequined high tops. The t-shirt displays in the front were nice though. We were disappointed and left emptied handed. read more
