We have gone here dozens of time since moving here almost 2 years ago. Every time the speaker is awful. I BEG OF YOU invest in a better speaker. The service is always good even tho half of them do get an attitude when you don't understand what they're saying because of the terrible speaker. The food is always correct though, and it's always good. Nothing to say about the ambiance of a drive through, but it's usually pretty clean. read more

I can see why this place gets just over 2.5 stars. Had I not checked I would not have gotten my hush puppies I ordered. I clearly did not get ketchup packets I asked for and I out of town and fires without Ketchup. Although come to think about it, no amount of ketchup would have helped these soggy fires. The burgers were grossly under cooked. About the only thing that was half decent were the onion rings. Although the server forgot a two important items, he was a very nice person, so ++ for that. read more

This is starting to get really old with Cook Out.. Their portion sizes are absolutely terrible and really need to be looked into by management. In no world is it okay to give 4 cheese bites and count it as a side. We got two baskets and both of them had 4 cheese bites so this wasn't a mistake. I've also experienced this at other locations so it's definitely not a one time thing and it's getting really old. Management needs to look into this instead of allowing their workers to rip people off. read more

If i could give this place 0 stars i would. First off the workers are rude, i hear the workers yelling at each other in-front of customers etc. well i decided to try them again tonight thinking its just maybe a bad night. Well i was wrong and got a terrible suprise. As im waiting in the long line i see a COCKROACH in the corner of my eye. A few seconds later i see 10 others follow behind and go under the building!!!!! This place does not meet the Cookout franchise standards that I am used to in other parts of North Carolina. If this were my first Cookout experience it would be my very last. The staff at the window did not get my order correct. Then was not pleasant as it had to be corrected and could not pay attention to me while she corrected her error. I am sorry but having a drink to go with my meal was in my opinion a necessity. If I had known how disgusting the drinks were going to be I would not have bothered. The Huge Sweet Tea was the same size as the Diet Coke which is not my experience at other Cookouts. It was pale and tasted more like sugar water than tea. The foundation drinks tasted like carbonated water with little beverage syrup flavor. This was the last time I will do this. I'll go to DQ down the road. read more

Where do you go when you're tired and it's gloomy out and don't feel like cooking? Cook Out is the right answer. I've had mixed experiences at cook out but today was by far the best one. The drive through worker was super friendly with a deep country accent and was super polite. The food I ordered a big double out west style with Cajun fries and just because I've never tried it I got the bbq sandwich. Everything was hot tasty and just to my liking. Cook out in my opinion is far better than McDonald's, Sonic and Taco Bell I only say those because that is what is located near cook out. But definitely a repeat customer. read more

On the night of 9/9/21 I went there and waiting in line for about 45 minutes. The second lane was moving extremely slow. When I was the second car from the menu board I noticed the first lane kept taking orders but the second lane was not taking any. I called and asked the manager if the second lane was working and was told no it was not. I asked if they planned on making the customets aware by putting a sign on the menu board so the customers would not just sit there. Without and response he hung up. A simple sign on the menu board.
