Pretty good place for a high school kid to hang out. Foods not really that great but the milkshakes make up for it. I personally hang out here with my friends and it is pretty lit. We can go inside and know a few people who go to school with us anytime of the day. People complain about the kids hanging out in the parking lot, but they should really be complaining about the size of the parking lot. Showed up tonight to grab a quick bite on our way home. With the exception of about 6 employees...the place was empty. I had to use the restroom when I got there and noticed an employee coming out of the toilet and he walked out without washing his hands and walked right into the kitchen. Gross. We were overcharged for things we didn't order and when I asked to get refunded I never saw it. When the food finally arrived it was cold and hard. I took my cajun chicken sandwich back up to the front and complained about the quality and asked for a cheeseburger instead. I was charged almost another $5. I asked the girl behind the counter if she was going to comp my chicken sandwich she said I could keep it or throw it away and did not credit me. We didn't eat our food because it was cold or just overcooked. And we couldn't get over the staff goofing off rather than giving customer service and quality food or the guy using the toilet and not washing his hands. Avoid this place at all costs. We were starving at 2 in the morning and this happens to be one of the only places open. All I can remember from this place is it being the spot to go to after partying back in college. Sure my memory of how good this place actually is is a little cloudy, but it turned out to be pretty decent. It's definitely not the best burger or hotdog place in the world and the service is more bipolar than South Carolina's weather, but beggars can't be choosers, especially at 2am. This is the second location that was never trained on the ingredients in CHEDDAR STYLE. I've emailed corporate and I will NEVER visit this location again. Where do I start? 4 out 5 times we've been, our order has been wrong. Today, in the middle of a massive rainstorm, we didn't check our to-go order before leaving. Our Cookout tray was supposed to have a BBQ, 2 Quesadilla and sweet tea. Tea was drinkable, BBQ was missing slaw and both quesadilla were left out. BOTH of our burgers were raw in the middle so we threw those in the trash. Cajun fries were completely unseasoned. On a good note, both the corndogs were cooked. Really not sure what the problem was but the location is severely lacking in either management or staff. If you'd like to try Cookout, I suggest the Laurens Road location. Although a new locations. The service is horrible. They are slow and 60 percent of the time the order is wrong. I have came home with multiple plates only to find out then it was wrong. I have called the manager to let them know I would return it the next day (not going to waste my time) and mentioned how often they get the orders wrong. They should focus more on customers but are intent on mass money but in the long run they will lose lots of customers. read more

Watched the people making milkshakes drop cups on the floor and pick them up and use them. 20 minutes to get my milkshakes was ridiculous. THIS COOKOUT IS GARBAGE!!! Have been to this location twice and both times the order has been completely wrong. This is the only location I've ever had trouble with but its to the point where I refuse to go back. I don't understand why clicking buttons on a screen and putting the food in a bag can be so hard but the individuals at this location make you think it's rocket science. Don't waste your time here unless you enjoy having your order wrong and having to make multiple trips to get it fixed. Not small mistakes either. Those are easily overlooked.
