My husband and I have tried this restaurant twice since it has opened. The first time was through the drive through. Our order wasn't right and it was so greasy it fell out of the bottom of the bag before we got home. He was against trying it again. And I talked him into trying it inside instead of the drive thru. He reluctantly agreed. Well, today, we each ordered a meal. A grilled chicken sandwich meal with french fries and a side of chili. And a cheeseburger meal with a side of onion rings and hush puppies. The grilled chicken was ordered with lettuce and tomato only. It was less than half the size of a normal chicken breast, you would have needed 2 to fill up the bun. And you could tell they had scraped off cheese and mayo. The French fries were a decent amount and tasted well. The side of chili, well, let's just say I wouldn't give that to ANYONE who was starving, it was absolutely disgusting. It was like burnt ground meat with a ton of chili powder and salt dumped on it. The cheeseburger meal wasn't too much better. The sandwich was supposed to have pickle, lettuce, onion, and mayo. There was no mayo on it, and the size of the hamburger/meat itself was smaller than a White Castle or Krystal burger, seriously. The side onion rings tasted well, but there were only 3 small onion rings, and 6 hush puppies. I have to say, I do like the taste of their main dish, for the most part. But they are truly skimping on the size. I could go somewhere else and pay half for the same meal, and it would be made correctly. read more

Kinda like 5 guys with more items. Surprisingly quick service considering it's was pretty crowded when we went. You can pretty much get a full meal for $5, sandwich, fries and drink. So, price-wise, not bad. They have over 50 different milkshakes if that's your thing. The milkshake I ordered was so thick I wasn't able to drink it for over about an hour. I wasn't too keen on that but some people like them that way. It was tasty though. The food for me was ok and nothing to rave about. Being as crowded as they were it was a bit disorganized picking up our order when called as they use the same short counter where they take orders. All in all, I'd go back. read more

We love Cook Out food, but the service at this one is horrible. Every time we go here, we leave disappointed. When you get an order through the drive thru, it is always incorrect. Tried to go through tonight and the person taking my order was so stoned, he couldn't get it together. I repeated my order 6 times and he still could not correctly repeat it back and it was only 4 items. I finally just drove off. How ridiculous that people working there can't stop their conversations and do their job long enough to fill an order. Desperately need new management and workers. read more

Mediocre food for people that don't know any better. This is a place for people that like simple food with lots of fats and sugars and don't want anything healthy on their plate. Lots of fried foods and greasy burgers. The locals rave about this type of cafeteria fare and I'm not sure why as it is not any better than any other burger chain. I love coming to this place. The milk shakes are OK. The burgers are great, the Cajun fries are worth the up charge and the tea is perfect. You get something that can fill you up for 6$! The BBQ sandwiches come with slaw on the bun, and if you request it off, make sure you check before leaving because I've made the mistake of getting home and having to rake that off for my picky husband. There was one employee that snapped at me when I was asking a question about a specific side item, but it looks like she had since been replaced because I have no problems when I come here anymore. All in all, it's definitely worth a try to stop by here and grab some quick eats! read more

Great taste and prices. Love their burgers and fries with the Cajun seasoning. Only gave 4 stars because of the amount of excess grease. I'm an not sure if this can be helped but if soaks the bun so it's kind of a bummer other than that's we really enjoy this place. read more

I love Cookout, and the service is always quick and friendly. But this location never gives me any sauce! I ask for the sauce I want when I order, and they repeat it to me when they repeat the order. Without fail, every time I get home, I find there's no sauce! I don't know anyone who likes eating dry chicken fingers. Always leaves me frustrated. read more

I went to this restaurant for a lovely dinner with my family. I was disappointed. I ordered the Barbecue, with a side of fries, and a bacon rap, along with a drink. All for $4.99. It's an amazing price for a pretty large meal, but the food quality isn't the best. The barbecue looked and smelled like Tuna, and tasted as the same. The fries where hard and seemed as if they've been sitting out for a while. The bacon was basically raw. I will not be coming back to this restaurant. read more

I would give a zero. This happened this afternoon, August 2. After I placed my order, I filled my cup and looked for a place to sit by the window. There was a table available. I noticed that the table behind it had a bare-foot baby in diapers sitting on the table top. The people ate and left. I picked up my food, sat down and started to eat. I had already decided that if anyone came and started to sit at that table I would tell them to pick a different table. I was just about finished eating when I saw a young man with an unhappy face come out and start wiping some of the tables. I got up and went over to him, pointed to that table and told him about the previous customers. He told me somewhat rudely that the cloth had disinfectant on it. He proceeded to pick up the trash still on that table and wiped it off. When he walked past me, I told him I was sorry that I had bothered him. He huffed and went to the next tables and wiped them off with the same cloth. I have been to Cookout twice today - my first time and my last time. read more
