    Walking taco

The chili cheese fries were AMAZING, I also got a double chocolate milkshake it was really thick I had to use two straws but I'm not complaining! The walking tacos were delicious it's like nachos in a bag

We went here for their burgers onion rings and coleslaw and they all tasted pretty good but the shining star was there banana pudding milkshake. It had real bits of banana in it with cookies and was absolutely the best dessert I had in a long time! I can't wait to go back here for another milkshake! I hope they re-open their dining room as it was closed when we were there because of Covid.

This place is great! We couldn't believe how cheap it was. While in Myrtle Beach, we were looking for a quick place to grab dinner as we had a long day and our three year old was getting pretty tired. I hopped on Yelp and you guys did not steer us wrong. Being from CT, we had never seen one of these before...I guess the closest one is in Maryland. I with they had these up were we were. The food didn't take long at all to be ready even with how busy the place was. We were happy to be able to grab a booth. If you're thinking of trying this place out, the answer is yes.

Cookout tray (double cheese burger, 2 sides of coleslaw and hush puppies, upgraded to chocolate cherry milkshake) $7.37 net!

4.5 stars! I was on a vacation and discovered Cook Out by accident! How could I be traveling to different places all along and not know or even heard about Cook Out?!? My first visit at Cook Out turned into a second...and third visit there during my time in SC! I simply fell in love with the chain...partly because of the vast selection of food...side dishes..and..of course the different types of yummy milkshakes that they offered! Their meals...price wise...were so economical. I probably can't say much about calories (esp given the sides of hush puppies and the milkshakes that I so enjoyed!)..but..I think it's a good deal..that I wished I live near this chain! But perhaps it's good I'm not nearby any of their establishments. Else, it's super dangerous to my waistline for sure! The cook out tray (combo meal) is the bomb what what you should be getting there! You get your pick of the main burger type...2 sides (my pick = hush puppies and coleslaw...to go with the southern style of travel!)..and a drink. Even a small upgrade, you can get your choice of milkshake, too! My favorite shake was chocolate cherry...slightly tart..but still chocolatey decadent! Check out this chain if you are in the area. I love that they open til quite late too, given many places there close after 9pm. So...given a late night business..it seemed to always be a bit crowded (Eve their drive tru was!) at night and you might not find a place to sit!

Seating outside and inside. There's also a few arcade games for kids or adults to play as you wait for your order. It's got the feel of a diner on the beach. There was only 2 employees who I believe were also the owners. Great service and hospitality. This place is unassuming, You don't expect the food to taste as great as it does. All the food is cooked fresh. You can taste the quality of the food that is used. The food is served in dog bowls. It's gimmicky, so some people might be turned off or find it unsanitary. They line the bowls with wax paper and I would think have not been eaten out of by dogs. I can't believe I actually had to say it, but after reading some of the reviews I think it was necessary. The food was fantastic. We got the garlic parmesan wings to start. The sauce was flavorful and the wings were drowned in it. Not as much meat as I would like on the wing, but still delicious. I dipped my fries in the leftover sauce. It added to the great taste of the fries which are hand cut and seasoned nicely. I got the double cheeseburger. I added jalapeños, spicy mustard, ketchup, and mayo from the free condiment list. If you have never tried it like this, I highly suggest it. It may sound like too much on the burger, but you will not be disappointed. The burger was fresh and cook exactly how I asked. Just the right amount of condiments and jalapeños were on the burger. I will definitely be returning to try one of the hotdogs they have on the menu. Great experience and looking forward to coming back.

And they have recipes for different flavors. And then put it in their soft serve machine. The flavors did seem to taste like what we ordered. It's usually a tradition with us, so we stopped at a local place right on the boardwalk...Iggy's. Should be called Icky's. Three of the girls got soft ice cream and all three thought it was terrible. Here are their comments: Strawberry cheesecake-tasted like vanilla with barely a hint of strawberry. The ice cream was WAY too soft and was melting when the woman handed it to me. tasted watery. Terrible. Coffee- absolutely awful. Tasted like weak chocolate and not even a little bit of coffee flavor. Way too soft. Terrible. Fudge brownie- tasted like coffee flavor, just with slightly more chocolate. couldn't finish it. just terrible. The one girl that got hard ice cream actually liked it and that's the only reason for the second star. Nice chocolaty flavor and thick bands of peanut butter throughout. Very tasty I love ice cream, so I hate giving ice cream joints bad reviews, but Iggy's just wasn't good.

I was honestly very surprised by how much I enjoyed everything. The inside of this quaint little restaurant has a strong German feel. The staff are dressed traditionally, which makes the whole place feel charming and authentic. It is honestly adorable. I would love to return when they have live music to enjoy the full experience. We started with the potato pancakes and the sausage platter, and both were excellent. Every sausage on the platter was seasoned so well that I did not even need mustard. I ate each one exactly as it was served, and the flavor was fantastic. The pretzels that came with the platter were also very good. The potato pancakes were phenomenal. I easily could have eaten more, but I wanted to save room for my entrée. For my meal, I ordered the veal schnitzel with spaetzle and potato salad, along with mushroom gravy. The veal was incredibly tender and absolutely delicious. I loved it so much that I want to try making it at home. The spaetzle was fantastic and something completely new for me. The mushroom gravy really brought everything together and made the dish feel complete. The potato salad was just average, but everything else was outstanding. My boyfriend ordered the pork schnitzel with spaetzle and really enjoyed his meal as well. Between the music, the cozy atmosphere, and the wonderful food, the entire experience was warm and memorable. This was such a great introduction to German cuisine, and I would definitely return.
