Anytime I go somewhere that has a Zaxby's, I always stop for Zaxby's. Visiting Nashville made it no different. Opted to order via the Drive Thru. The wait wasn't bad. The guy working the window was polite. He had me pull forward and brought my food out within 2 minutes. I ordered two wings and things combos (traditional wings, chicken tenders a side and a drink). I didn't check my food until I got back to our hotel. We were missing our tenders. I called and spoke with Chris, he informed me to come back within the next 7 days and they would replace both of my meals. Other than this mishap. The traditional wings were good, the garlic sauce was good and The fries were hot. Can't speak for the inside but the parking lot is small, but it works. read more

This was probably the worst experience ever. I ordered $30 worth of food and it would have been fine had I not bit into my quesadilla and was greeted with a piece of plastic. I took the food back and waited for the managers as he continued to take orders in the drive thru. The girl up front told him it was important. Went through drive thru...everything seemed ok. A lady in a SILVER KIA apparently was told to move up. She may have been a customer or a relative. Because she barely moved up so myself & other cars to go around. And an employee with blue hair & blue scarf immediately came out. I understand supply issues and that you can't just go down to the corner store to pick up cheese curds, but maaaannn... Send someone down to Sysco to get some ketchup. They have plenty of sauce options however when ordering online for delivery or pickup you may or may not actually get the sauce you ask for. I was in town for the weekend and after our journey from running errands, we decided to come to Zaxby's. My best friend is not new to this place, but I was. We order 2 kids meals for ourselves and waited to get home to eat it. The kiddie fingerz consisted of 2 chicken fingers with fries . . . just enough to hold us over until dinner. The sweat tea was horrible just straight sugar. The tenders and fries were so damn salty, it's like the dumped the entire bottle of seasoning on our meal. It was truly inedible and trashed immediately. My mother in love advised us to take it back, but it wasn't worth our time or energy. I rarely eat fast food but I was desperate. The Mr beast box is $17, barely got any food in the box, the chicken tasted like chemicals, like really bad cleaning chemical taste. The fries mushy and not seasoned (even tho it said they were). Also, I paid for extra sauce and I didn't even get ONE sauce. Couldn't even eat it because I didn't have the sauce to drown out the horrendous taste of the chicken. Finally, the dumb chocolate was melted to a liquid. Fantastic service from staff! They were so welcoming to us and were very attentive at every step of ordering and collecting our food. We didn't stay to eat but there was plenty of seating. I ordered Zaxby's for dinner one night online for pickup as it is right around the corner from my place. I ordered the 6 Fingerz meal and the Spicy Signature Sandwich meal. I placed my order 2.5 hours before closing and left my house to pick it up shortly after placing it. When I got there the lobby had a sign that said it was closed and that you had to go through the drive-through. I don't have a car so that was already weird for me but I had to follow the rules. I went to the drive-through window and asked the customer there if it was ok if I picked up my order since the lobby was closed and they said it was fine. The staff opened the window and told me I had to wait in line to get my food despite placing an online order. As a pedestrian, having to go into the drive-through to wait for food is very dangerous but since I paid for the order already, I had no choice. After waiting 20 minutes in the drive-through, I made it to the intercom only for them to tell me I couldn't wait in this line or pick up my food. At that point, I was furious because not only did I have to wait longer for ready food but I had to put my life in danger to pick it up because I was following the instructions they gave me. The sad part was, that the food was cold by the time I got to it. Overall, if the lobby is going to be closed, please make sure that is on the website so that I or anyone else doesn't bother walking over to the store. read more

I stopped by for lunch today. I hadn't been to this location in awhile and I doubt I'll be returning. Ordered a house salad with fried chicken and a peach tea. 1/3 of the salad was wilted lettuce. Wanting a quick drive-thru dinner, we went to Zaxby's. Despite 5 cars ahead of us, the line went fast. The woman who helped us at the window was nice and joked with us so an extra star for that. However, after paying for and receiving a bag of our food we drove off rather quickly to avoid a man trying to get the attention of passing cars. A little ways down the road we realized our bag didn't contain the cheese curds we ordered. We turned around and walked in the restaurant to get them. It took requesting them not once, but twice for the message to finally get to the kitchen. For fast food, this place isn't too bad. The decor is really cute and much more thought out than some sit down restaurants I've been to. I will say though that if you're expecting and wanting flavor to go somewhere else. I got the Cajun sandwich and was pretty convinced that they gave me the wrong item (they didn't) because it tasted like a regular grilled chicken sandwich and I didn't even ask for it grilled. It didn't taste bad by any means, it was pretty decent, but it was not Cajun. My friend got the most popular sandwich and he was surprised at the buffalo sauce on his sandwich because there was actually no spice to it. We didn't even know that was a thing. please zaxbys build another location in downtown, it's Sunday night, an hour till close and this place is a mosh pit. line wrapped around the building into the street, I ordered to go from inside and have been here about 50-60 minutes took about 15 minutes just to get to the front of the line to place an order, there were no straws or cup lids in the dining area, it doesn't seem like it's a staff problem. staff seem to be working really hard to keep up. it's a volume problem. and here we are, all asking, 'is that chicken ready yet?!' hope this helps push the company to look at more franchise locations, I know rent here is high but yall gotta help these ppl out.
