Anytime I go somewhere that has a Zaxby's, I always stop for Zaxby's. Visiting Nashville made it no different. Opted to order via the Drive Thru. The wait wasn't bad. The guy working the window was polite. He had me pull forward and brought my food out within 2 minutes. I ordered two wings and things combos (traditional wings, chicken tenders a side and a drink). I didn't check my food until I got back to our hotel. We were missing our tenders. I called and spoke with Chris, he informed me to come back within the next 7 days and they would replace both of my meals. Other than this mishap. Went through drive thru...everything seemed ok. A lady in a SILVER KIA apparently was told to move up. She may have been a customer or a relative. Because she barely moved up so myself & other cars to go around. And an employee with blue hair & blue scarf immediately came out. This was probably the worst experience ever. I ordered $30 worth of food and it would have been fine had I not bit into my quesadilla and was greeted with a piece of plastic. I took the food back and waited for the managers as he continued to take orders in the drive thru. The girl up front told him it was important. First, not sure if today is normal or just everyone wanted Zaxby's on the same day. The line for drive thru was in the street when we arrived and the parking lot was mostly filled. We waited 45-60 minutes for our order. When they forgot a sauce, I attempted to run inside but the line was to the door so I walked up to the drive thru window. Fantastic service from staff! They were so welcoming to us and were very attentive at every step of ordering and collecting our food. We didn't stay to eat but there was plenty of seating. I ordered Zaxby's for dinner one night online for pickup as it is right around the corner from my place. I ordered the 6 Fingerz meal and the Spicy Signature Sandwich meal. I placed my order 2.5 hours before closing and left my house to pick it up shortly after placing it. When I got there the lobby had a sign that said it was closed and that you had to go through the drive-through. I don't have a car so that was already weird for me but I had to follow the rules. I went to the drive-through window and asked the customer there if it was ok if I picked up my order since the lobby was closed and they said it was fine. The staff opened the window and told me I had to wait in line to get my food despite placing an online order. As a pedestrian, having to go into the drive-through to wait for food is very dangerous but since I paid for the order already, I had no choice. After waiting 20 minutes in the drive-through, I made it to the intercom only for them to tell me I couldn't wait in this line or pick up my food. At that point, I was furious because not only did I have to wait longer for ready food but I had to put my life in danger to pick it up because I was following the instructions they gave me. The sad part was, that the food was cold by the time I got to it. Overall, if the lobby is going to be closed, please make sure that is on the website so that I or anyone else doesn't bother walking over to the store. read more

Usually,​ love coming here for some wings and things or just a 10 count of traditional wings but this experience was not the best. When I received​ my wings they were cold and had to return them. After a 20 minute wait for the new wings,​ they were much better. I stopped by for lunch today. I hadn't been to this location in awhile and I doubt I'll be returning. Ordered a house salad with fried chicken and a peach tea. 1/3 of the salad was wilted lettuce. At first, I thought it was just 1 or 2 wilted pieces, I can deal with 1 or 2 but the more I mixed it up the more I found. They just covered it crispy green lettuce and add fried chicken. read more

Wanting a quick drive-thru dinner, we went to Zaxby's. Despite 5 cars ahead of us, the line went fast. The woman who helped us at the window was nice and joked with us so an extra star for that. However, after paying for and receiving a bag of our food we drove off rather quickly to avoid a man trying to get the attention of passing cars. A little ways down the road we realized our bag didn't contain the cheese curds we ordered. We turned around and walked in the restaurant to get them. It took requesting them not once, but twice for the message to finally get to the kitchen. For fast food, this place isn't too bad. The decor is really cute and much more thought out than some sit down restaurants I've been to. I will say though that if you're expecting and wanting flavor to go somewhere else. I got the Cajun sandwich and was pretty convinced that they gave me the wrong item (they didn't) because it tasted like a regular grilled chicken sandwich and I didn't even ask for it grilled. It didn't taste bad by any means, it was pretty decent, but it was not Cajun. My friend got the most popular sandwich and he was surprised at the buffalo sauce on his sandwich because there was actually no spice to it. We didn't even know that was a thing. please zaxbys build another location in downtown, it's Sunday night, an hour till close and this place is a mosh pit. line wrapped around the building into the street, I ordered to go from inside and have been here about 50-60 minutes took about 15 minutes just to get to the front of the line to place an order, there were no straws or cup lids in the dining area, it doesn't seem like it's a staff problem. staff seem to be working really hard to keep up. it's a volume problem. and here we are, all asking, 'is that chicken ready yet?!' hope this helps push the company to look at more franchise locations, I know rent here is high but yall gotta help these ppl out. I live in the neighborhood of this location and I frequent it often. The food is okay, service mediocre at best, and long lines constantly stay long and move at a snails pace. The biggest issue I have is paying extra for the sauce and without fail, every single visit, they leave it out. I have to remind them of the sauce or if I'm busy I just go without. I could probably pay for a full family meal with the amount of money I've spent on undelivered sauce and even other missing items. I have done this same exact job at a different Zaxbys and what I experience here is a gross incompetence and unwillingness to serve. I wish there was a better quality Zaxby's in the neighborhood, but unfortunately this is what the community gets to deal with. I'll just go to mcdougals from now on instead. The drive though wait times were excessive but understandable considering COVID. What was not understandable is that they got my order wrong and attempted to repackage and return food that was not prepared consistent with my order. After returning and waiting in line a second time, I was offered no apology for the error on their part and was shocked when they attempted to simply repackage and return the incorrect items to me.
