Chicken fingers, fries, texas toast and a drink.

My first time at a Zaxby's. They were out of cheese curds, chocolate chip cookies and ketchup. That's just what I know of, because those are all things that I asked for and couldn't get. I understand supply issues and that you can't just go down to the corner store to pick up cheese curds, but maaaannn... Send someone down to Sysco to get some ketchup. C'mon now! ‍ Everything was okay. It's fast food chicken. Not my favorite. Didn't hate it. I did have some fun with the Titans fan employee behind the counter who tried heckling me as I was there in my Bengals gear the day after the Bengals' playoff win. It's always fun when the employees have a good time with the customers. Who dey!!

Zaxby's is a wings fast food / fast casual restaurant that specializes in wings, sandwiches, and salads with plenty of meal options. They have plenty of sauce options however when ordering online for delivery or pickup you may or may not actually get the sauce you ask for. Luckily they're all pretty good but only complaint.

    Mr Beast box

I rarely eat fast food but I was desperate. The Mr beast box is $17, barely got any food in the box, the chicken tasted like chemicals, like really bad cleaning chemical taste. The fries mushy and not seasoned (even tho it said they were). Also, I paid for extra sauce and I didn't even get ONE sauce. Couldn't even eat it because I didn't have the sauce to drown out the horrendous taste of the chicken. Finally, the dumb chocolate was melted to a liquid. I've had Zaxby's before and it has been excellent, this location is a disappointing waste of money.

    Kiddie Regular Chicken Fingerz

I was in town for the weekend and after our journey from running errands, we decided to come to Zaxby's. My best friend is not new to this place, but I was. We order 2 kids meals for ourselves and waited to get home to eat it. The kiddie fingerz consisted of 2 chicken fingers with fries . . . just enough to hold us over until dinner. The sweat tea was horrible just straight sugar. The tenders and fries were so damn salty, it's like the dumped the entire bottle of seasoning on our meal. It was truly inedible and trashed immediately. My mother in love advised us to take it back, but it wasn't worth our time or energy. But I knew a yelp review would sufffice for me. :) Will I visit again . . . YES. I have to give them another try since I've heard to great things about them. I mean how can you mess up chicken?!?!? Until next time yelpers!

Usually, love coming here for some wings and things or just a 10 count of traditional wings but this experience was not the best. When I received my wings they were cold and had to return them. After a 20 minute wait for the new wings, they were much better. But definitely not coming back to this location due to the rude servers when I took back my wings to get them reheated/redone.

    Wilted lettuce

I stopped by for lunch today. I hadn't been to this location in awhile and I doubt I'll be returning. Ordered a house salad with fried chicken and a peach tea. 1/3 of the salad was wilted lettuce. At first, I thought it was just 1 or 2 wilted pieces, I can deal with 1 or 2 but the more I mixed it up the more I found. They just covered it crispy green lettuce and add fried chicken.

    Cheese curds

Wanting a quick drive-thru dinner, we went to Zaxby's. Despite 5 cars ahead of us, the line went fast. The woman who helped us at the window was nice and joked with us so an extra star for that. However, after paying for and receiving a bag of our food we drove off rather quickly to avoid a man trying to get the attention of passing cars. A little ways down the road we realized our bag didn't contain the cheese curds we ordered. We turned around and walked in the restaurant to get them. It took requesting them not once, but twice for the message to finally get to the kitchen. Driving away the second time, I opened the cheese curd container and was SO disappointed. $5 for this amount of food is ridiculous, but the fact that they forgot them the first time and then served us this?? Questionable management and little regard for customer satisfaction.

Slowest Zaxbys ever. I don't know if they need to hire more employees or what but prime dinner time and the drive thru line is the slowest!!!!!! They definitely got to do better

$40 of food and paid for delivery every single sauce is missing. 7 sauces in total. A complete waste.

This time, we switched things up and hit it for lunch instead. Good call. We grabbed seats at the bar, where Todd was holding down the fort. The guy was outstanding. Drinks never sat empty, food came out smoothly, and he somehow managed to be attentive without hovering over us every five minutes asking if everything was okay. My wife started with the Nashville Margue, which goes down way too easy for something packing moonshine. Light, refreshing, and carrying enough kick to remind you you're in Tennessee. Then Todd introduced us to a Bloody Mary made with a new pickle-infused vodka. Now, that sounds like one of those ideas that should either be amazing or a complete disaster. Turns out it's amazing. My wife loved it so much she's already talking about coming back tomorrow for another one. For food, we started with the pretzels and beer cheese. Simple. Warm. Soft. Salty. Exactly what you want while settling into a Nashville afternoon. Nothing fancy, just done right. Then I went all in on the mac and cheese topped with Nashville hot chicken. Yee Haw. Creamy mac and cheese. Crispy chicken. That signature Nashville heat. Comfort food with a little attitude. Just the way it should be. The best thing about The Stillery is that it knows exactly what it is. Good food. Good drinks. Good people. No gimmicks. No trying too hard. Just a fun place to sit down, relax, and enjoy yourself. Fifteen trips to Nashville (together) and it's still one of our first stops. That's probably the strongest review I can give. Five stars.

The spot is in an old building in the middle of the entertainment district (Lower Broad area). It has a small outside seating area, for when it is not a sauna, Inside there is a nice sized bar, if you are just seeking a drink. They are known for their mac & cheese, which I have never tried in all of the times I have been to the Stillery. Very creamy, cheesy mac & cheese. The Nashville hot chicken has a nice spice to it. A bit mild for the serious hot chicken fans, but the flavor is there. The chicken tenders are fairly standard. And the crinkle fries are mid. I enjoyed both of the drinks. At $14.50, they are at least $1.50 less than the standard Broadway cocktails in the star bars, so iti s a less expensive option to get a drink. I don't think they ever have live music, unlike some others here, so you are going for the food, not the noise. Service was great, as always. The staff is always prompt and knows their menu. It is more bar food and the menu is limited, but what they do, they do well.

They kept saying that all the Johnny-come-lately hot chicken shops in the other parts of the country were just pale imitations. Even Howling Ray's with all its reputation was not as good as those two. And I have to say Hattie B's does stack up considerably well. The tenders were, er, tender and juicy and kind of fat. I wasn't expecting Dave's level or giant honking pieces. The fries were seasoned well. And the piece of bread was a good side in itself. But I think my favorite was the baked beans. I don't believe I've ever had baked beans with hot chicken before. Most hot chicken joints stop at the fries and bread. Man, if I could have baked beans this good with my chicken, I might even go all baked beans and no fries. Fries are never my favorite anyway. The beans were just the right of sweet and savory to be a key side. The service was fast but friendly, as befits a restaurant that has lines out the door and down the block. I've never seen a line that crazy at any food hall. That the crew manages to manage such a large throng of folks with a smile on their faces is a testament to their training and/or temperament. The ambiance is great. For such a crowded place and a smallish dining room, Hattie B's manages to make it look welcoming and not as packed as you would think it would be. I usually dislike communal tables especially when you want private conversation with your friend, but here it still feel relaxed and relatively private. I think this is a badass location to place a Hattie B's and next time I'm by the Assembly Food Hall for like a Ryman show or a game with the Preds, I'm coming right back for these tenders and those prime baked beans.

It's my last night in Nashville so I want to go to a bang zoom restaurant. A few of my co workers have said to me: Mr Bill, we see every night you're going out to some amazing spots. Mind if we tag along? Sure, the rules are to keep your fork outta my plate when we sit down. Deal? The restaurant is very large, we're shown to our table. Set in the middle of the dining room and facing the bar. The bar can seat at least 25 people, the restaurant is set up for fun. To get our party started, I ordered a well crafted cocktail: Tea'd Up Old Fashioned Made with Bourbon, Black Tea and House Barrel Aged Bitters. Funky?? Oh yeah I'm with a bunch of Military Veterans and they're telling me their crazy stories. I'm sippin' my Old Fashioned and taking it all in, we need to bond over drinks and crazy things we all drank overseas. As an adult, I can appreciate my Nashville TN Old Fashioned with Black Tea. While we're talking, our waitress drops off a plate of homemade biscuits. The biscuits are fire! Buttery, flakey and moist, The Southern Steak & Oyster can make a damn good biscuit. Next, my Gumbo comes to me. The first taste I can tell this is a chef'd up dish. Better than anything I had in New Orleans. This gumbo is filled with Andouille, Crawfish, Shrimp and Fried Okra. Very flavorful indeed. My last entree in Nashville will be Fish 'N Grits. Fresh fish topped with Spicy Tasso Ham over Sweet Potato Grits and Bacon Braised Cabbage. This is a flavorful dish, the grits are very creamy and the cook on the fish was spot on. We had a great night at The Southern Steak & Oyster, it was a pleasure to dine at your restaurant.

Upon his return he was focused on everything but the 5 of us in the place until we finally had to ask to get service. The other visit everyone helped me but the actual server. Maybe this is a staffing problem, I don't know but being stuck for 20 minutes to order another drink with my meal is not acceptable. Although they had that check in my hand in under a minute and in under another minute to process. Again, super nicer people, but kind of oblivious. 2) Now let's talk about the kitchen. And I'm adding some input from the other diners because we all sat there waiting. - flavors are great, but the salt and spice level is overboard. I had the mushroom appetizer and nearly choked/coughed to death. I like heat but this was raw spice that overpowered the dish. And the salt about made my feet swell into balloons. Such a shame because the idea is great just poor execution - deviled eggs. Pass - BBQ Shrimp, sort of like the mushrooms right profile but overpowering - gumbo. Two other people had the gumbo and when I asked they said that too is just over spiced I want to like this place, but probably my last visit unless I just come for oysters. Sorry
