I love White Castle, I really do, it's a nostalgia thing to me. I was delighted to see a White Castle close to my hotel at my recent stay in Nashville, as it had been several years since my last sliders. This location definitely left a lot to be desired, but at least my burgers were good. First of all, it didn't look like it had been cleaned all day. Floors are permanently sticky, drink spillages in several spots, bathrooms were barely passable to even just wash your hands. The employees were neither bad nor good, just kind of did the thing, albeit very slowly. My sliders came out hot, which at the end of the day, is all I really need. I enjoyed them thoroughly. My fries were stone cold, good thing I also had some onion rings as part of the pack I bought. They were crispy and good. Soda from the Coca Cola freestyle machine tasted semi-flat, like the mix is off. On the whole, most White Castle locations outside of New York and New Jersey have left me wanting. This one was no exception, but, for a once every few years fix, it was fine.

I never go to this White Castle, however; today I was in the area and decided to stop midday. I ordered the #1 combo with only cheese, mustard, and pickles. I jump on the highway and hell no, my hamburgers look like baby poop. I can't turn around and go back, so I called and asked to speak to the manager. I asked her what did she give me? First of all, it wasn't what I ordered and secondly, it was gross. She not once replied or acknowledged my concerns. I informed her that I was leaving a review and contacting corporate. At this point, I will also let the health department know because I got sick. Her team thought that this was funny. This behavior is unacceptable and unethical. How are you still in business servicing disgusting food??? Horrible, I mean just plain horrible..... I will never patronize this establishment...NEVER.....

E X P E R I E N C E we came on a Sunday afternoon around 1pm. there were 7 cars in front of us for the drive through. inside there were 5 groups of people. it's pretty ghetto here. potholes everywhere. there is a private parking lot. good for 20 cars I'd say. there's a drive through with extra space on the side. employees are slow. they aren't friendly or prompt to take your order. it was interesting that two people ordered in front of us and they didn't pay but got their food for free? it was my first time to white castle. I'd say it's pretty decent fast food. probably wouldn't come back. F O O D med fries: fries were lightly salted, meaty. soda: I got ginger ale because there was literally only two options. all the other soda options came out clear, tasting like nothing. 4 sliders: sliders are decent. they're warmed and cheese is melted. pickles add a nice crunch

I always love getting White Castle when traveling. However, I deviated from my normal order and tried the 1921 slider. The meat was tough and dry. It was really bad. Luckily I also got my cheese slider with pepper Jack and a chicken slider

My nephew and I stopped by for food to go and it took forever for a place that wasn't even busy. The food was solid, but the wait sucked.

Nasty taste of the sliders, fry's were cold and burnt drive thru took 30 mins don't come here. Even the Dr Pepper tasted weird.

Brings back memories of my childhood every time I have a white castle burger, a.k.a. a slider. Love the crinkle cut fries.

If I could give it zero stars I would. Just know you'll be in the drive thru at least 15mins or more. Slowest fast food I've ever been to!!

Love the sliders but this location has extremely slow service and the dining room is filthy. Convenient location and hours.

This time, we switched things up and hit it for lunch instead. Good call. We grabbed seats at the bar, where Todd was holding down the fort. The guy was outstanding. Drinks never sat empty, food came out smoothly, and he somehow managed to be attentive without hovering over us every five minutes asking if everything was okay. My wife started with the Nashville Margue, which goes down way too easy for something packing moonshine. Light, refreshing, and carrying enough kick to remind you you're in Tennessee. Then Todd introduced us to a Bloody Mary made with a new pickle-infused vodka. Now, that sounds like one of those ideas that should either be amazing or a complete disaster. Turns out it's amazing. My wife loved it so much she's already talking about coming back tomorrow for another one. For food, we started with the pretzels and beer cheese. Simple. Warm. Soft. Salty. Exactly what you want while settling into a Nashville afternoon. Nothing fancy, just done right. Then I went all in on the mac and cheese topped with Nashville hot chicken. Yee Haw. Creamy mac and cheese. Crispy chicken. That signature Nashville heat. Comfort food with a little attitude. Just the way it should be. The best thing about The Stillery is that it knows exactly what it is. Good food. Good drinks. Good people. No gimmicks. No trying too hard. Just a fun place to sit down, relax, and enjoy yourself. Fifteen trips to Nashville (together) and it's still one of our first stops. That's probably the strongest review I can give. Five stars.

The spot is in an old building in the middle of the entertainment district (Lower Broad area). It has a small outside seating area, for when it is not a sauna, Inside there is a nice sized bar, if you are just seeking a drink. They are known for their mac & cheese, which I have never tried in all of the times I have been to the Stillery. Very creamy, cheesy mac & cheese. The Nashville hot chicken has a nice spice to it. A bit mild for the serious hot chicken fans, but the flavor is there. The chicken tenders are fairly standard. And the crinkle fries are mid. I enjoyed both of the drinks. At $14.50, they are at least $1.50 less than the standard Broadway cocktails in the star bars, so iti s a less expensive option to get a drink. I don't think they ever have live music, unlike some others here, so you are going for the food, not the noise. Service was great, as always. The staff is always prompt and knows their menu. It is more bar food and the menu is limited, but what they do, they do well.

We had a larger (10) group celebrating two birthdays and the staff handled things without breaking a sweat. We arrived a few minutes late for our reservation but it was no bother as our table was still being prepared. On that note: highly recommend a reservation, this is a popular place! Once we were seated we had the pleasure of Nichelle, a wonderful waitress. She was on top of everything we needed or wanted and we had very little wait time for her return. Great service! And the food... DELICIOUS! As you can imagine, our group of ten had a good selection across the menu and there was not a single person who was disappointed. Everyone loved their amazing food. What tops everything off is the atmosphere here. It's popular so, as you can imagine, it's a bit noisy. However, I like to call it "lively". And they really nailed the physical design, so inviting and upscale. I'll stop there and simply say: check this place out, it's great!

She even went out of her way to get me a drink that had fallen off the menu a few weeks prior, a delightful cucumber spritz. The ambiance is awesome. As others have said, music isn't too loud, just pleasant in the background, so it would be ideal for having a conversation. The space is open, bright, light-filled, and stylish. Parking is in a private lot behind the restaurant and they validate parking for up to two and a half hours. I wish I could rave the same way about the food. While the cocktails were refreshing and they had a cocktail for every palate, my steak and eggs was bland. It came out a little closer to rare than medium, but I can live with that. But I am not sure I detected a speck of salt or pepper. The steak was at least tender and the sunny side up eggs were cooked appropriately. The potatoes were dry. And I did have the wagyu meatball appetizer. It's a large portion, so easily shared amongst two or three people. Cheesy and saucy with a little spice. The focaccia could've been toasted a little more. I considered the short rib hash, but my server told me it could be salty and hit or miss (I appreciate her honesty and she 100 percent should be praised for it). I came during brunch (even on a weekday). They also serve French toast, desserts, oysters, burrata, potstickers and tuna tartare, salads, burgers and other sandwiches. If you come for lunch or dinner, you can also get grilled salmon, blackened redfish, shrimp and grits, pastas (cajun chicken, pappardelle bolognese, tortellini) as well as various cuts of steak. It's conveniently located right across from the Frist Museum and is part of the Union Station Hotel. I would try this place again for dinner, but would skip the brunch. And again, Savanna was top tier! She deserves all the flowers!
