They have pretty much the best hush puppies round. The onion rings are great the dogs are awesome. The burgers are smaller but inexpensive. They are like they are grilled at the house outside. Really dig this spot. read more

I normally go to the drive thru at all the cookouts but today me and my wife decided to go inside for a quick bite. The first thing I noticed was how clean the place was. The cashier and another employee had greeted us immediately. The food came out fast and fresh as always. I've been to six different Cookouts and this is my favorite one so far. read more

Had to update my review and give them another star since this location has improved in the past year. They haven't messed up my order in a long time and they are really fast in the drive thru. Plus, the food is always hot and you get a lot for the money. Love their iced tea! read more

Decided to visit this location for lunch today for a quick bite. For starters I had visited this location in the past with NO issues. Well today I decided to try them once again since I was craving corn dogs. From the start, the order taker in the drive thru threw me off. I can understand people who have hearing issues or maybe the battery was running low in the headset, but why do I have to repeat my order more than twice? Strike 1. Simple order, ordered the Jr. Corn dog tray, fries, slaw, and Large sweet tea Half cut with unsweetened. Gives me the total, $5.45? I drove around and it seemed as if the guy was a little in a rush and unorganized. I give him that, no Biggie since it's lunch time. SO I noticed him filling up a Huge tea and he said well that's the one that comes with it. SIR, I could care less what comes with it, I specifically asked for a LARGE. So out of frustration, I asked for a lemonade in the large. The next thing is that I asked what's the cost of a Jr. Tray and he blurted out my total $5.45 again as if I have issues with comprehending. Strike 2. I just cancelled my order and went elsewhere. Now, I have my receipt from a few weeks ago where I visited the lobby (nice young lady took my order) and ordered the same thing, base price $4.69, total with tax, $5.13. I understand economics, inflation, and prices rising but this whole encounter could have been avoided if he had just given me the base price of a Jr. Tray. Hell, I might have even continued with my purchase due to my extreme cravings. But to be rude and TRASH about it, N-O, I can take my Big Belly Ass on over to another restaurant and contribute to the salary of it's employees which is what I did. Strike 3. Okay seriously this place is wicked awesome! Fast, friendly and delicious! I always get the burger with a chicken quesadilla and onion rings. My fav shake is the chocolate banana! Great food, but customer service needs to be retrained, and sometimes a burger just shouldn't be burnt when you ask for a regular burger. Also, when you ask for a bacon ranch wrap, that's what you'd expect to get, not a chicken wrap. read more

Good alternative from the usual drive-thru experience. The food is pretty cheap, and pretty decent. Nothing spectacular - it's still fast food - but it's a good change-of-pace kind of place. I come here frequently and almost every other time my order is wrong. I don't usually complain about it because it's not that big of a deal to me but I'm tired of having to pay for a wrong order. The people working here would rather talk and joke around with their employees than to make sure your order is right and I shouldn't have to keep paying over and over and over again for an order that is wrong. Is this real life? Here on business for just 20 hours and staying across the street. There are probably 15 choices within walking distance but this one looked intriguing. I didn't want a sit down meal and didn't want Mcdonalds, Subway or Taco Bell. Very unassuming from the outside but the inside is very nice and clean. The staff were all happy and appeared to actually enjoy their jobs (as much as you can actually enjoy a job.) Here is where it got crazy...I got a double cheeseburger with a bunch of toppings and cheddar cheese. I got a chicken quesadilla, fries and a large soda with unlimited refills..it was $4.99. Yes, four dollars and ninety nine cents. Expecting the worst but cautiously optimistic I had to wait approximately 3 minutes for my food. The quesadilla was small but really good. Fries were natural cut and also very good. The burger was mediocre but plenty good and didn't appear to be made from beef extract like most fast food places. I don't mind the mediocre burger as it was a double, had cheddar and a bunch of toppings of my choice. For $4.99 it greatly exceeded expectations. There is no way I would have found anything better for less or even close really. Looking at the menu..5 (or was it 4?) chicken nuggets for .99. BLT.... .99. They've gone mad. read more
