Cook Out always has great prices for the quality and quantity of food you're getting! Don't expect a gourmet burger, but they do have one of the finest fast food burgers on the market. Salisbury location was pretty busy when we arrived (at peak lunchtime), but they worked through orders pretty quickly. There is a good amount of space inside for eating, and the bathrooms were relatively clean.

Great Burgers Stopped here because I was in Salisbury for something else and wanted a good burger...in the end I was not disappointed. Had the cheddar burger with fries. Excellent burger and fries, which were hot when I got them, and very tasty. Had a chocolate shake on the side. All great. You order at the front and you pay, much like a Shake Shack. Except you wait for your order to be ready - they give you a number. This Cook Out is right next to Salisbury U so as expected is frequented by college students. Which I think is pretty cool. See my pics for the menus, as of my last visit in November 2023. Recommended for a quick lunch.

I ordered cheese bites with my order and they gave me fries. The employees were not very nice when I went they kind of acted like they didn't want to be there

Milk Shake ( Blueberry and Strawberry ) very good!

I very seldom get a chance to go here ( due to always being crowded ), but that's by no means a complaint, the inexpensive prices, late closing hours and directly across from a huge College...this place is on point! So whenever I see a limited line like a football player ' I tackle it ' and you should to!

Got the cookout tray which was an entree, 2 sides, and a drink. It was quite a lot of food for $5.25 because some of the sides you could pick from were another entree in itself if you ask me. I got the double burger, onion rings, and a bacon wrap. The onion rings were basic and the bacon wrap was just ok but the burger was the bomb.com. It tasted like a charred burger off a backyard grill on a summer's day. The cherry on top for me was the Cheerwine soda, which just so happens to be cherry flavored. The meal ended on a high note but then I went and looked a gifted horse in the mouth by using the restroom on the way out. They were filty! The floor had dirty toilet paper and it was wet in some spots. There were also flies in both stalls.

The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Now, let's talk about the food. The guacamole? Absolutely next-level -- fresh, creamy, perfectly seasoned, and served with crispy chips that were just the right amount of salty. We couldn't stop dipping! But the real star of the show was the coconut, pineapple, jalapeño chicken. Sweet, spicy, tangy, and full of bold flavor in every bite. It's one of those dishes you think about long after you leave. The wings were another knockout -- crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and tossed in sauces that hit every flavor note you could want. And nothing goes better with all of that than an ice-cold beer, which they have plenty of on tap. Great selection and served frosty -- just the way it should be. We came in with the whole family and everyone had an amazing time. Lively but not too loud, upbeat without being overwhelming -- it's a place where you can relax, laugh, eat great food, and feel totally comfortable. Highly recommend -- we'll definitely be back!

For my main course I got the lemon herb salmon salad. Really didn't need the starter. This was plenty filling. Very good. Salmon had some bone in it so be careful. I was surprised by two pieces and one I accidentally swallowed. The avocado in the salad was not ripe at all. I had to pull it out. Couldn't stab my fork into it. Staff is awesome. Super friendly. We ended up sitting outside because their was a long wait for the indoor seating. I ordered the all you can eat blue crab special, and the waitress explained she would be bringing my food out first, since the process of eating crabs would take longer. They started me off with about 2 dozen medium sized blue crabs. They were all male, seasoned heavily with Old Bay, cooked well, and easy to break down. It also came with an ear of corn and fries. Our waitress kept our drinks filled and checked in on us frequently. This was probably my favorite meal during my trip to Wildwood.

Come to enjoy your time. Now let's talk food. I ordered the steak, and it did not disappoint--well-seasoned, flavorful, and cooked just right. But the real surprise? That biscuit and butter. Listen... I could've made a whole meal out of that alone. And the mimosas? Nice and light--exactly how our group likes them. I didn't get the oxtail and grits, but I didn't need to. One look across the table told me everything I needed to know--full-on bowl-to-the-chin action. If you know, you know.
